16/09/2023: Unacceptable to see an establishment so dirty, dirty toilets, smelly and not cleaned, bar, scullery, veranda, everything is dirty, unacceptable that it is still open, it would be really urgent for the hygiene services to come... J I ordered an Orangina, the can was rusty at the collar! Waffles are frozen, forget them! Mr. Mayor of Aups, how much do you collect to protect this lousy business?! Shameful, a real task in your village!

09/09/2023: We wanted to drink coffee this morning with a friend, we ordered 2 coffees and 2 glasses of water, we waited almost 1/4 hour..... we reminded the waiter of our order, he muttered, said he might have forgotten (style: it's market day, there are lots of people, I'm overwhelmed)... he leaves and we hear him say "ah these tourists!!!". He finally comes back with the order and I explain to him that we are not tourists, but local people... so he takes it very badly, allows himself to say certain things... and ends by explaining that 'he went to bed at 1 o'clock the night before, he doesn't want to be polite with such people... us!!!! He's the tall young man, his head almost shaved on both sides and a sort of crest on top. NEVER AGAIN IN MY LIFE WILL I GO TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT, I add that it will snowball!!!

27/07/2024: un lieu magique, un endroit atypique , une cuisine au feu de bois simple , efficace gouteuse et authentique, un incontournable de la gastronomie locale, a faire absolument.

05/02/2026: I went there once, then again, and again... As someone who travels for work, the quality of accommodation is a top priority. This hotel is really excellent. The staff is very friendly. The rooms are clean, and the beds are really comfortable 🙏 The hotel's location makes parking difficult. However, parking is available for €5/night, which is very affordable. I recommend it!

22/12/2025: A hotel clearly undergoing renovations that doesn't offer the services one would expect from a hotel of this category. Excellent location in the city center, a friendly welcome, and very comfortable beds. The hotel is clearly being renovated, but this doesn't excuse the poorly hung wallpaper, the multiple power strips plugged into the two existing outlets, the rather basic furnishings, and the two-minute wait for hot water. Housekeeping wasn't done between our two nights. The breakfast, consisting of rusks, is not up to three-star standards. We'll see how it is when the renovations are finished.

03/09/2024: Beautiful food and nice decor however the staff made us feel rushed. The tone of the staff service doesn't match the delicate decor and setting. The prices arent cheap either especially if you're going for the catch of the day so you'd at least expect a higher level of service as a result.

26/08/2024: 1/Je réserve plusieurs jours à l'avance en demandant une table près de la mer, on arrive à 19h30, la terrasse est quasi vide, on se retrouve à la table la plus au fond du resto, dans un angle. Je le fais remarquer, rien n'y fait, on ne me change pas de table. 2/On perd une carte d'identité et une CB, on la cherche pendant une heure alors que les salariés du resto l'avait retrouvée, mais n'ont pas pris la peine de regarder le tableau des réservations, c'était le même nom. C'est quand on leur a demandé s'il n'avait pas trouvé une carte d'identité et une CB qu'ils nous les ont rendues 3/ Ondemande 6 fois pour avoir de l'eau mais à ce stade ça devient anecdotique 4/ On commande leur plat signature qui est un risotto pour 2 préparé dans la meule de parseman et flambé devant nous: on nous amène deux assiettes déjà préparées en nous disant que la préparation a été faite a une autre table plus loin... 5/ Au-delà de ce service déplorable, les plats sont bien trop chers. On ne paye que le décor. A éviter. Il y a bien mieux autour, à l'Aygade, la Plage ou la Capte.

23/08/2024: Deux passages dans cet établissement, un dîner et un déjeuner. Accueil courtois et personnel très aimable. Cadre splendide et repas excellent. Je recommande

16/09/2024: Hermoso entorno. Comimos por la noche. Con el mar, la decoración y las luces casi podría estar en Tailandia. Teníamos un entrante mixto de pescado para compartir a 20 euros. Main era un curry de pescado tailandés increíble. Una porción de pescado era enorme y delicioso. Servido con arroz , bien valía los 26 euros . Personal muy amable. Recomendaría encarecidamente
