26/07/2026: A quick, impromptu lunch stop on our way to Peille. We received a very warm welcome from the friendly and smiling staff. We had a light meal since it was lunchtime, but it was delicious and perfect. I can't wait to come back and try some of the other dishes that caught my eye...

11/08/2026: What delicious fresh pizzas! With a thin, crispy crust, flavorful toppings, and all for an unbelievably low price. We called to order; the owner was very nice (he seems to work alone) and they were ready for pickup within 10 minutes. The ambiance isn't necessarily very cozy. We ate the pizzas at home.

01/08/2026: We attended La Chaumière on Thursday night with six of us (pre-booked) and had a good dinner. There were a few areas for improvement which should be considered for future visits. Entres - one dish forgotten / never brought out even after raising this. No apologies from the staff or acknowledgement they’d missed this - we cancelled this when it didn’t turn up as mains were coming out. Mains - very good food, ask for a second plate of potatoes as one small plate of potatoes for six people was not enough. Overall very good food and portions were big. You do need to pre-order the chicken however so if you don’t check the menu in advance you couldn’t have this. Deserts were okay, cream offered with apple pie which tasted off / sour cream and ruined dish. We scraped to the side. Staff weren’t particularly enthusiastic and asking for a carafe of water was unnecessarily hard work. A young male staff member borderline rude. Overall we liked the restaurant but as a customer you shouldn’t have a comment / raise something every course. Room for improvement.

16/07/2026: We had a very good meal; the dishes were truly delicious and high quality. However, I found the portions a little small considering the price. The plates could have been a bit more generous. As for the service, no complaints whatsoever. We went during the World Cup semi-final, so the restaurant was full and the staff was understandably overwhelmed. Despite this, the staff remained very professional, friendly, and always tried to find solutions to satisfy everyone. The tables were quite close together to accommodate as many customers as possible, but this didn't prevent us from having a pleasant time and chatting comfortably. In short, a very good experience thanks to the quality of the food and the service. With slightly more generous portions, given the prices, it would be perfect!

16/07/2026: This place is as bad as the reviews say. The food was mediocre and the service is slow. The server acted kindly but everything was overpriced and underrated. It’s a good location though. Tourist trap.

10/08/2026: A fantastic dining experience at Le Chaperon Rouge in Cannes! 🇫🇷 This is truly a restaurant that delivers on French cuisine. The atmosphere is incredibly charming and authentic, and the food was simply delicious. The steak was absolutely amazing and perfectly cooked, incredibly tender and full of flavor. One of the best steaks I've had in a long time. But the highlight? The frog legs. Honestly, the best frog legs I've had in all of France! Perfectly cooked, flavorful and with a fantastic sauce. In addition, the service was absolutely wonderful. Very nice, attentive and professional service that really made the evening even better. It's clear that they care about both the food and the guests. Everything from the food, the service and the atmosphere made this an evening we will never forget. Le Chaperon Rouge is truly a little gem in Cannes, and a place I would definitely recommend to others. 5/5 – and the frog legs alone are worth the trip! 🇫🇷🥩🐸

02/08/2026: First time I tried frog, and it was delicious. Duck & tiramisu were absolutely amazing. Owners are very friendly, had the chance to meet the chef! Thanks for the company that evening, I will absolutely come back.

11/05/2026: Passing through Nice, we came for lunch on a Sunday at noon, a group of six, on the terrace. We had a wonderful time; the service and waiter/waitress were lovely and smiling, absolutely fantastic. The generous portions, all homemade, were a real treat, and all for a very reasonable price. Thank you again and well done! I highly recommend it.

10/06/2026: How can you not start craving food when you see such a delicious Big Plate Chicken? The rich color, flavorful sauce, and tender chicken pieces are exactly why I want to highly recommend this authentic Xinjiang Big Plate Chicken today. As I mentioned, the moment I picked up my chopsticks and took my first bite, it felt like all the coldness inside me disappeared instantly. The taste immediately brought me back to my middle school years when I first tried Big Plate Chicken in Xinjiang. So many memories came flooding back, awakened by this authentic and delicious dish. Besides the Big Plate Chicken, the other dishes we ordered were also very affordable and tasty. There was a yellow noodle dish that I absolutely fell in love with from the very first bite. It was unique and full of flavor. Another pleasant surprise is that they also have a KTV downstairs. If your bill reaches €238, you can use the private KTV room for free. The room can accommodate around 10–15 people. If you just want to sing karaoke, that’s also possible. The price is €20 per hour, which I think is quite reasonable. I also tested the microphone quality myself, and it was excellent. In some karaoke places, either the microphone volume is too low or the background music is too loud. Here, everything was perfectly balanced, making the singing experience very enjoyable. I included some photos of the KTV room among the pictures, and the menu photos are at the end for reference. Highly recommended if you’re looking for authentic Xinjiang cuisine and a fun place to gather with friends.
