17/04/2026: I ordered a Cactus and a Coyote, and frankly, the pizzas were excellent. A big thank you to the pizza makers, Rémi and Jessi, for their hard work and kindness. However, I was quite surprised by the atmosphere in the truck… it's hard to understand how they manage to work in those conditions. It's a shame, because the quality is truly there. I'll gladly come back, hoping for a more pleasant atmosphere.

03/05/2026: We had very soft and generous crepes; they were original and there was a wide selection. The ice cream and cider were also good quality. We were served relatively quickly by a pleasant waitress. I recommend it.

03/04/2026: Good food but they over charged us without an apology and with a bit a attitude when returning what's due.

24/03/2026: A salad bar with a terrace for indoor and outdoor seating. A wide variety of salads to choose from. Unfortunately, mine was a bit too oily and swimming in salad dressing, which slightly spoiled the experience, but it wasn't a big deal. The small tomato and goat cheese quiche was also tasty. Prices are reasonable and the service is quick if you go early enough.

24/04/2026: Friendly welcome, sunny terrace, however, the breakfast was poor quality; industrial pancakes served with canned berries, fromage blanc with Kellogg's instead of muesli; the bread was good. A shame, disappointing.

13/04/2026: I ate the Calamarata Siciliana pasta with tuna. The pasta was good, the bread was fresh and excellent (traditional bread). One small point for improvement: it could have used more tomato sauce. Otherwise, I recommend the restaurant.

31/01/2026: We really enjoyed our takeaway vegetarian pizza from Pizza Bisso. Freshly made with care and with good ingredients. We shall definitely visit again before returning to the UK.

22/04/2026: The quality has declined. On my last order, the chicken skewers were burnt and the ramen was full of clumps of noodles that I had to remove. A month after this review, I wanted to see how the quality was, so I placed another order, no ramen of course. Everything was perfect, well presented, and delicious. I'm happy because we really like Eatsushi. Clearly, they've been paying attention. Keep up the good work!

18/01/2026: Forget the endless plains of Scotland. Here, we're in Nice: it's hilly, it's technical, and it's the only place where you can work on your swing while getting a "commando"-style calf workout. The Pros: Proximity: This is the ultimate luxury. No need to drive all the way to Mougins or Cannes. You can play a quick round between appointments or before picking up the kids. A green 10 minutes from the city center is almost indecent. The Driving Range: Ideal for letting off steam. You hit balls facing the hill, and even if you don't end up at the Masters in Augusta, it's still the best spot to relieve the stress of traffic jams on the Promenade des Anglais. The Restaurant (The 10th Hole): Probably the part of the course where everyone hits their shot. The terrace is pleasant, the welcome is friendly, and the food is better than your own score for the day would suggest. The downsides: The "Vertical" Terrain: Calling it a "course" is an understatement; it's a climb. Unless you're a mountain goat or you've taken a golf cart, prepare to finish the course out of breath and with a sudden urge to buy an ice axe rather than a putter. The Limited Space: It's a compact 9-hole course. If your drive tends to veer a little too far to the right or left, you have a 50% chance of ending up in a neighbor's garden or asking another golfer if they saw your honor (and your ball). The Prices: We're on the French Riviera, in the middle of residential hills. The price of the green fee is a gentle reminder that golf is a prestigious sport, even if you end up in the bunker for 20 minutes. Verdict: A little gem of technical skill for those who want to play without leaving town. It's family-friendly, it's green, and it's an excellent test of your accuracy (and your cardio). A word of advice: keep your eyes on the ball and your feet firmly planted, because the slope here is unforgiving!

20/04/2026: Let me start by expressing my gratitude to the staff and management of Hôtel Eze Hermitage for creating a space where I could experience the Joie de Vivre of the Côte d'Azur. I came across Hôtel Eze Hermitage while searching for a space for a personal writing, hiking, and meditation retreat along the French Riviera. With this being my first time in France, I was not sure what to expect, but my stay absolutely exceeded my expectations. Hôtel Eze Hermitage is the perfect place to experience the peace and serenity of Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, as the hotel is perfectly nestled in the mountains in the Côte d'Azur with short walks to absolutely breathtaking views of the sea below and the mountains behind the hotel. Like many others, my trip to Eze included hiking Nietzsche’s Path (Chemin de Nietzsche). Though an invigorating trail that I highly recommend, if you are willing and able, there is another trail that is even better. Shortly after my arrival, Marilyn so kindly recommended the Mont Bastide trail, which is stunning and magical. One entrance to the Mont Bastide trail is just a few meters from Hôtel Eze Hermitage. Though you can descend the difficult and rugged trail all the way down to Eze Village, which I was able to do every day of my visit, it is worth the effort to at least journey to the peak point over the sea, which offers spectacular sunrise and sunset views of the French Riviera and the mountains. If you take a close look at some of the pictures I have included, you will see the sun setting directly over Hôtel Eze Hermitage. If you are looking for a place to dine, I highly recommend Mets Vins Chics. The staff there will take care of you with joy and recommend a great French wine. Also, Ma Première Boulangerie is the perfect place to have coffee, enjoy the sweetness of Southern France, have a sandwich for lunch, and experience the joie de vivre of the women who work there. To the management and staff at Hôtel Eze Hermitage, thank you for your patience with my American ignorance as a first-time traveler to France and for working through my language barriers. I have absolutely fallen in love with the spirit of Côte d'Azur and Southern France. I will return, and I look forward to staying at your lovely hotel again. Merci de votre patience face à mes difficultés linguistiques. Merci de m'avoir permis de découvrir la joie et la douceur de la Côte d'Azur.

11/04/2026: This hotel isn't as glamorous as it used to be. Renovations have been done, but not in keeping with the hotel's original character. I loved it before, with its previous management. The room was small and the pillows uncomfortable!
