The staff is well trained, polite, friendly in short everything is fine, value for money, here we are. 2 steps from the Ferris wheel, it is easy to find. Thanks to the team.

18/08/2024: Par où commencer ? Réservation pour dix, mais la table n'était pas prête, nous avons dû patienter 20 minutes devant le restaurant, et les verres étaient encore sales. En entrée, les moules farcies à la provençale étaient froides et m'ont rendu malade... Les calamars frits à 24€ l'assiette étaient une mauvaise blague, il n'y avait presque rien à manger. Le plat principal n'était pas mieux: une escalope à la crème qui s'est avérée être une escalope au sel, totalement immangeable ! Inutile de dire qu'après ça, j'ai renoncé au dessert. Seul point positif, le service : les serveurs étaient agréables. En résumé, une grande déception, nous ne reviendrons plus.

05/07/2025: The worst zucchini fritters of my life. You can't smell the flowers, just old frying pan that was used for something else before. The flowers are fragile! Mediocre socca. It's a fast food chain, we have nothing against the employees but the boss could improve the quality a bit.

27/10/2025: Lunch break. Sandwich, pan bagnat, and pissaladière. The ham club sandwich was very good, the pan bagnat was a bit lacking in mayonnaise or other sauce, but the size was good, refreshing, and the product was fresh. The pissaladière was good, but not strong enough with the anchovies for those who like it strong. Very reasonable price: €14 for a quick bite for three. Average, courteous welcome, no more or less.

06/10/2024: A great experience in this small village in the south of France. In addition to a welcoming atmosphere and friendly service, the food is fantastic. We ate a delicious starter, followed by duck magret with divine pepper and unforgettable chicken. The house red wine at a very modest price was delicious and the chocolate mousse was one of the best I've ever tasted in my life. I recommend it very strongly. Especially because Biot is a delightful place to visit.

28/09/2024: Going there very regularly since I was little, I have seen the evolution of this magnificent hotel restaurant over the last 50 years. Even if the decor has become a little too modern, it retains its old-fashioned charm. Concerning the Veranda, the team takes great care, the decor and the view of the castle park are princely, the dishes divine, the wines exquisite, and the salty bill just right.😜 Well done to the whole team.

25/09/2024: This was a wonderful restaurant with great eats and a great atmosphere. I thoroughly enjoyed the service from the hostess stand to the table. They made me feel right at home. Everyone at this place is so professional and sweet. I noticed how helpful they are to one another helping serve dishes at the same time so everyone at the table were able to enjoy it at one time. The drinks were amazing and did not disappoint. I ordered the black tiger prawns with guacamole as an appetizer and the Irish beef aka steak with mashed potatoes. I’m literally planning my next visit here. I’m probably going to spend the rest of my trip enjoying dinner right here at La veranda! I just want to shout out my waiter and the team you all are amazing and I couldn’t ask for better french cuisine and an amazing experience!

19/12/2024: Excellent time spent for lunch. Lovers of good cuisine, we were attracted to the place quite by chance. From the outside we feel that we are going to eat well there. A very good taste surprise, excellent dishes, homemade with lots of flavor and originality. Affordable price. Very pleasant service. We will come back to taste this menu which changes regularly. Looking forward to it!

21/09/2024: The entire staff was fabulous. All staff were engaging and helpful. The boss sat and did nothing. This was the best food that we’ve had in Nice. Incredible place - come visit. The only negative element was the boss himself.

28/09/2024: I can’t rate the food but the atmosphere was amazing with a lovely view. Unfortunately, we were not able to eat here because they refused to seat us outside even though one staff member initially said there was a table available for us. another very snooty person refused staffer refused to seat saying we were only allowed to sit inside. We left. We’ve been watching “our” empty table for over two hours from another restaurant on the hill while we spend over €300 on food and drinks . . We’ve seen no one go in or out of that restaurant in that time so I hope it was worth it. If I was the owner, I would be furious.. but maybe they only allow certain type of customers on the patio based on their discernment.

22/09/2024: The food was excellent, no complaints there, but the attitude of one of the waitresses really ruined our experience. Reading the comments below, I realize that I am not the only one who found his behavior very unpleasant. Maybe it's time for her to question herself. You seem like a very bitter woman, and having such an attitude towards customers who arrive a few minutes late is not the end of the world. It's important to understand that most of your customers are tourists and we are not local, so it may have taken us a while to find the restaurant. Additionally, this is one of the few restaurants I have seen refuse to accommodate a baby. According to her, I should have specified in my reservation that there would be a baby. I didn't know that a 4 month old baby needed a special mention, especially since she doesn't eat anything. She made a big deal about the stroller. She was just trying to get into conflict with us and make a big deal out of everything. When my mother suggested that she remove a chair so we could place the stroller, she didn't know what to say because she had no intention of accommodating us or finding a solution. As new parents, it has become rare for us to be able to go out to restaurants. This was one of the first times we allowed ourselves to do this, and I appreciate you ruining our experience just because you were frustrated with us being late.

10/11/2024: Small, cute hotel. - Like something out of a movie! Very friendly staff - family business.

31/10/2024: We had room 5, a double room with a balcony. The room was excellent, very comfy bed, and the balcony great. There is a very busy road junction outside the hotel, which is loud at times.
