26/09/2026: Extremely disappointed with my meal here. I ordered a steak, but what I actually received was basically just a regular burger patty. To make matters worse, the meat was absolutely swimming in a pool of grease. The fries weren't any better - they were soggy and literally dripping with oil.

08/09/2026: Amazing food, great location, and a super cozy outdoor seating area under the tent! All the essential facilities are there, including card payments and a restroom. The only detail that could be improved is the cutlery, as it looked quite old and needed a good polish. 🤣 But overall, the vibe was light and the meal was delicious!

28/09/2026: Best restaurant in Opio and the surrounding area! The food is excellent, the pizzas are perfect, and there's a great variety of dishes, from salads and pizzas to traditional French dishes. I recommend the truffle pizza (the best), the Thai salad, or the baby artichokes salad. The service is superb, the welcome is always warm, the dishes are served quickly, and you can taste the quality of the ingredients. Go for it if you're looking for a good place to eat in this area! I go there very regularly, and everything is always top-notch.

14/09/2026: A pub that truly feels "local." My first time at Snug & Cellar, and so far I've only seen the terrace… but it's already enough to give you a good idea of ​​the place! We settle down at a table, amidst the hustle and bustle of Rue Droite, one of the liveliest little streets in Old Nice. Next to me, a regular of a certain age calmly sips his glass of wine, then leaves. For a good ten minutes, no one seems particularly bothered by my presence. 😄 Then a blonde woman comes out, sees me, calmly continues clearing tables and attending to the others… and finally comes over to ask me what I'd like. In English, of course! Not exactly the kind of place where they pounce on you as soon as you sit down: here, they take their time and let you live your life. It's a bit rough around the edges, a bit casual, but ultimately quite charming and, above all, much more authentic than some of the very "touristy" establishments in Old Nice. And then there's the setting: Rue Droite, the constant flow of people, the old buildings, the terraces, and that very particular atmosphere of Old Nice. Even without having explored the interior yet, Snug & Cellar already has a real personality. I'll be back to see if the interior confirms this first impression. 😉 What also struck me was the contrast with some other pubs in Old Nice, like Ma Nolan's or Akathor. There, the service is very organized and professional, with young waitresses and waiters from Northern Europe, tablets in hand, orders taken immediately, etc. Here, it's the complete opposite: the service seems much more relaxed, almost artisanal. You wait, you observe, you're left undisturbed at your table… and someone eventually comes over. 😄 And, oddly enough, this gives Snug & Cellar a much more authentic and less formulaic feel.

13/06/2026: Very disappointed. I order regularly, but I don't think I'll be ordering anymore because this is the last straw. The first time, I received an expired can of yogurt. I sent an email to report it and never received a reply. The second time, I clearly indicated in the comments section of the website that the granola and fromage blanc should be served separately to prevent it from melting. This request was ignored. And finally, last week, I ordered a tuna salad and found several pieces of pork ham in it. I don't eat pork, and this kind of mistake is completely unacceptable. It's a real shame because I used to order from you often, but after so many problems and no real customer service, I'm not inclined to order again.

12/09/2026: Just popped here for a couple of pizzas - great find if you are staying in the area and want a really good, freshly made wood fired pizza. There’s a good few seats inside and outside though we got take out. There’s was a family here eating and the salads look great too.

06/09/2026: We ordered four pizzas. The pizzas were very thin with very little topping. As for the Landes pizza, we're still looking for the pieces of duck breast. It's a shame, we won't be back.

15/09/2026: We held our civil wedding reception at L’Atelier Joseph and it was nothing short of perfect! From start to finish, everything was exceptional. The food was absolutely brilliant (our guests couldn’t stop raving about it), the team was incredibly friendly, attentive as well as professional and they provided a wonderful service throughout. And the setting… simply beautiful. It has such a unique, elegant atmosphere and is genuinely quite cinematic. The perfect backdrop for such a special occasion. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate our wedding. 10/10 we highly recommend L’Atelier Joseph!

06/09/2026: I hesitated a lot between 3 and 4 stars, because it's a real shame to have to penalize such excellent food because of a lack of warmth in the service. We came to have a nice time with friends, and while we thoroughly enjoyed the food—kudos to the kitchen team!—the service's attitude unfortunately somewhat marred the experience. We dealt with two waiters: a very friendly and pleasant young man, and another, in his forties, who was considerably less welcoming. The end of the meal particularly surprised us. After dessert and coffee, the table was completely cleared, including our water glasses. When we pointed out that the children were still thirsty, the waiter replied, "I have to clear the table; I'm finishing my shift." It was only 2:15 pm, and other customers were still seated with their drinks. We felt we had to leave... quickly! And to top it all off, my plate was even taken away while I was still mopping up the sauce! It's a real shame, because the food is excellent. A warmer, more cheerful, and above all, more attentive service would have clearly transformed our experience.

03/10/2026: The setting is magnificent. Large parking lot. The meal was decent, but a bit pricey for the quality, as it was very traditional. Our aperitif was served late, along with the beers we ordered with our meal, and the main courses arrived immediately afterward. So we ate while we were having our aperitif. And to top it all off, they brought us dessert with the bill. The service was disorganized. I don't recommend it. What a shame!

09/08/2026: We've been going there for drinks for several evenings now, and each night it's a different waiter or waitress. Be careful with the prices; they don't charge the prices displayed. For example, a two-scoop ice cream is listed at €6.00 ​​in the window and €7.00 on the ice cream cabinet, but the final bill was €7.50! Beware!
