01/09/2026: We had lunch there in the middle of August. The restaurant wasn't very busy due to the heatwave, but the indoor dining room was air-conditioned and everything we ordered was very well prepared. I recommend this family-run restaurant.

28/08/2026: I highly recommend this Indian restaurant. First, it's very well located in the beautiful old village of Mougins. Second, the food is delicious and varied, with something for everyone. The decor is very welcoming, and the service is very friendly. Definitely one of my favorite Indian restaurants on the French Riviera.

24/09/2026: A wonderful experience at La Vela! I came for a pre-dinner drinks reception organized by the Franco-German Business Club of the French Riviera, and we enjoyed the setting and atmosphere so much that we followed it up with a family dinner. As for the food, I had an excellent artichoke salad, while the other guests chose dishes such as spaghetti alle vongole, fritto misto, and fish. Everything was delicious, well-prepared, and generous. The service was professional, attentive, and warm, and the seaside setting is truly delightful. A great place in Nice, perfect for both a business event and a family dinner. We will definitely be back!

02/09/2026: Hello, I don't usually leave reviews, but I'm a little disappointed with the service, even though I'm a regular customer of this bakery. Today around 4 pm, I ordered two chicken pizzas to take away, which normally cost €17 each. They charged me €24, but the problem is, when I got home, I discovered one small pizza was burnt underneath and covered in flour.

01/09/2026: The bakery is very good, but every time I come, they run out of bread. Just now, someone from Dragon d'Or emptied the entire stock of baguettes (about fifteen), so I have to come back later. Please limit the number of baguettes per person or at least require pre-orders for professionals.

05/09/2026: A true haven of peace; it's amazing to find such a calm and soothing place so close to such a busy area. The food was delicious, exactly what I expected! I highly recommend it.

23/08/2026: We stopped by this place because we liked its courtyard. We only ordered drinks because we were skeptical about the food, but they told us that it’s actually a restaurant and it’s very strange not to order food. The drinks were just okay. Mixed feelings—it’s a strange place.

27/07/2026: We had a wonderful evening. Both dishes (Cazlone and Cheeseburger) were delicious. The dessert was also excellent. All for a reasonable price. The air conditioning inside was a real plus. Congratulations to the whole team! 😉

07/09/2026: I've always bought their gougères from them; they were very good. The ones I ordered today were inedible, soaked in oil, tasteless, and not salty at all. This is the last time I'll order from them. I'm very disappointed by the decline in quality and expertise.

23/03/2026: This morning's baggage check was appalling. The agents were mixing up bags of liquids on the conveyor belt, and what's more, they were rude! Some training would be very welcome! What a terrible image of France!

03/09/2026: Awful dont visit.Arrived at a empty restaraunt and asked could we get a margharita cocktail as the reviews were good. The young girl was so rude and said we had to eat and be quick as she was leaving , we decided to leave as it was that bad. Terrible service from a previously well run business. Dont waste your time or money.

02/09/2026: “The customer’s always right” So goes the old-style service adage and I’m not sure I always agree BUT I certainly do not subscribe to the opposite: “The waiter’s always right.” But this restaurant seems to… When she brought out the wrong order to our table - one of our party had ordered a chicken burrito and instead received chicken fajitas, the waiter argued with us and told we were wrong and had ordered fajitas. We all know we did not. Nonetheless, she refused to back down and change the dish and gave us an ultimatum to take it or leave it. It was quite extraordinary. I told her that I was appalled that she was arguing with a customer when we all had heard the burrito order but she then accused me of shouting at her which I most certainly was not. In the end, it was a choice of accepting what she had served or leaving. We were hungry and so backed down. The food was fine but not fabulous. But the waiter’s attitude spoiled the evening. We live in Nice and have been here before but will never return. This was tho worst service I have experienced in at least two decades.

A truly idyllic setting to enjoy a delicious meal. Another major advantage is the private beach just below, with sun loungers where you can relax, soak up the sun, and fully enjoy the day by the water. The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming. All the staff are extremely friendly, attentive, and helpful. We particularly appreciated the kindness and attentiveness of the owner, who personally ensures that every guest feels comfortable. The service is impeccable: the entire team is attentive to every detail and truly goes the extra mile to make the experience perfect. As for the food, we discovered original flavors and some truly beautiful combinations. The restaurant offers particularly attractive set menus at €42 and €50, allowing you to choose several courses and finish with an excellent dessert. Honestly, the set menus are very generous and excellent value for money: you leave feeling completely satisfied. Between the beautiful setting, the quality of the food, the warm welcome, and the attentive service, we truly loved our experience. We recommend this place without hesitation and will gladly return.
