24/08/2024: Lorsque vous vous interessez a l’histoire de l’établissement et à la passion du patron, il s’ouvrira et vous donnera inévitablement envie de tester la carte et de suivre ses judicieux conseils vin ! La cuisine Sarde proposée était absolument parfaite ! Un délice ! L’Ulivo est sans aucun doute un établissement à ne pas manquer si vous goûtez à Menton !

Restaurant "Le Relais de la Cayolle

25/08/2024: The Relais de la Cayolle is a wonderful hotel: very close to the Col de la Cayolle, at the start of many hikes, on the banks of the river, surrounded by large conifers... you feel like family there as the welcome and the cuisine are so warm. I highly recommend this establishment!
19/08/2024: very peaceful setting, simple restaurant menu but with local and artisanal products, adorable owner, room with mountain taste, half-board meal perfect for hikers since it is copious, delicious made by the owner and with a family atmosphere. I highly recommend

02/09/2024: We enjoyed their degustation menu. Their oysters were fresh and excellent. The duck was served rare and the lieu noir (cod) was very tasty. The service or kitchen can be overwhelmed. We waited over 30 minutes between courses.
The dining room is conversation friendly and they offer tables on the sidewalk. The location is excellent. It is close to la Croissette but far away to avoid the crowds.
15/07/2024: The food is an insult, apart from the tuna tartare nothing good. Even though there were literally 3 of us, the service was very long. Water at room temperature, which in the height of summer is always ugly at €9.50. Embarrassing prices for miserable rations. At this point, however, we're talking about personal taste, terrible both for the location and the choice of music (very loud among other things) (I think it's jazz). The only strong point are the desserts, however not excellent.

But everything is overpriced, the places - crazy, the sweets, the water (zest) is 4€ for 1/2 liter 😵💫 (0.64€ at Carref)
06/08/2024: Clean cinema but way too expensive to watch a film on a faulty screen. It is unacceptable !!! We were in room number 2 on level minus 1. On the screen: a huge cut 50/70 cm long on the right part, and a stain on the left part. The eye therefore often focuses on it and the quality of the image is lost. It is impossible that this defect has not been seen before by the staff. The room should have been closed to the public until repairs! For 32.80 euros for 2 places it’s shameful! It feels like camping!!

29/08/2024: Unquestionably the best ice cream parlor in Menton! We have returned several times and have never been disappointed. The welcome and service are excellent, unlike some of their competitors whose reputation is well established but who nevertheless struggle to get a smile... Everything is delicious!!
Ps: the unicorn ice cream is amazing

15/09/2024: Après de longues tractations avec Stéphane (5 minutes), nous avons décidé avec mon épouse de fêter nos 50 ans de mariage au WAIKIKI à Cannes, famille et amis mêlés.
Le cadre est magnifique, le personnel ultra sympa (mention à Ivana qui a dû supporter une bande de fous), et que dire du chef qui nous a régalé. Tout était parfait, et on ne saura jamais si le feu d'artifice à la fin faisait partie de la prestation 😂😂.
Merci pour cette soirée qui restera un excellent souvenir,

Good food, but some piece of bread not enough fresh.
Rude and disregarded service , particularly the waitress who served in the beach zone.
Please improve the quality of sun umbrella to avoid close them when there is wind. We paid for this amenities and we couldn't use them.
