22/12/2025: We recently visited this café for hot chocolate and tiramisu. The wait was incredibly long before our order was even taken: 30 minutes, with the waiter clearly more interested in chatting with his colleague. Once we finally ordered, the service was thankfully quick. However, another problem arose when it came time to pay the bill. After asking for it, we waited another 20 minutes, the waiter busy discussing horse racing bets at the counter. Faced with this excessive wait, we ended up paying directly at the counter. The waiter seemed completely indifferent: I entered my PIN, the payment was processed, and he continued his conversation with his colleague, still holding the card reader and the receipt, which I was still waiting for… In short, don't go there: the staff has absolutely no quality of service and not a shred of politeness. 16/03/2026: I rarely leave negative reviews. Long story short, pizza was not edible, my child could eat it. I asked why the dough was this dry they said it is ment to belike this. I have ordered pasta, they charged me for pizza too. Pasta was excessively expensive and it is not clear in the menu. Pasta is 9 euros and the sauce is extra 9 euros. They didn’t apologize for the pizza or propose a discount.

16/03/2026: Terrible pizza! The dough didn't rise at all. Instead of pizza, I got something more like a tortilla. Never again!

31/07/2025: To vomit, never seen before, a deplorable welcome and disgusting cuisine. I confirm the unbearable smell coming from the kitchens, probably. Run away quickly, it's the first and last time. Never seen before.

26/02/2026: They barely speak French, and they don't understand what we're asking! 1 hour and 45 minutes for 2 pizzas, no apologies, no warning, and when we call 3 times they tell us the pizzas will arrive in 3 minutes. They hang up on us 3 times after we ask for a discount. For those in Saint-Laurent-du-Var, run to Mister Pizza in Nice Carras and explain that you don't want to order from Cagnes-sur-Mer. It works; they're lovely and they speak French.

25/02/2026: Three orders placed. The first was 20 minutes late. The second order was delivered to the wrong address; I waited 1 hour and 30 minutes for two pizzas instead of 40 minutes. I was told I would receive a goodwill gesture. The third order was told I wouldn't receive a goodwill gesture and they hung up on me. The management is terrible. Even though the pizzas are good, they're not amazing. No goodwill gesture whatsoever.

17/12/2024: We have a good time there! I don't know if I prefer the LBF chef's IPA or the Pornstar martini, neither too acidic nor too sweet, but I heard Didier Great! Gentle on the heart

24/10/2025: €5 or €7 pizza, take your pick!! I simply urge you to avoid this place. Pizza undercooked in the center and burnt on the outside. You'll end up with a bad case of diarrhea. I wonder how this joint is still standing.

19/03/2026: Paid 14 Euro for a coffee. Yes, 14 Euro. It was pleasant with nice view etc but similar view can be had anywhere aling St Juan de P waterfront. The service was grumpy and off hand to top off the experience … ultimately felt exploitiative and a left bad taste. Will never return. If you want to see the Scott Fitzgerald bar and small deco style lobby just walk in and out and save your money. Incidentally, whilst here we paid E38 plus service extra for 2 coffees and a childs juice we’d earlier by harbour in Cannes had a lovely 3 course menu du jour lunch in a classy restaurant for exacly the same cost. E38 (for 2). Take your pick - 3 course lunch or a coffee - hmmm? Perhaps a coffee in the 5* Cafe de Paris in Monaco is a good place to compare - historic, exclusive and good view? Nope, they only charge 7 euro. Simply the most expensive, least good value coffee Ive ever had.

28/01/2026: I've never stayed there myself as I live nearby, but the brunches are perfect after a yoga session (which I offer 😊🙏) or a waterskiing session from the BR pontoon! I also highly recommend the dessert platter with a good coffee on the terrace!

28/10/2025: No, overall it was okay. I had a Norwegian pizza. I ate the whole thing. It was fine. I was served quickly, maybe because I was the only one on the terrace. (Judging by the other reviews) Friendly waitress. No sun at lunchtime, which was a shame.

09/03/2026: I was disappointed by my visit to the Victor Hugo restaurant in Nice. I asked for a bottle of water because I wasn't feeling well, and the staff's reaction was extremely rude and inappropriate in front of other customers. Such behavior towards customers is unacceptable and completely ruins the experience. I do not recommend this restaurant.
