17/08/2024: Very warm and pleasant welcome. In terms of the room, some disappointments given the standard displayed in the hotel with many works of art, our room was equipped with a blackout curtain which was stained, the terrace not very clean either. Small cold shower also for the espressos which are charged at breakfast in the morning, it's a little strong. The breakfast was plentiful as long as you didn't arrive too late because otherwise there was no croissant or pain au chocolat, otherwise great quality of the products offered apart from the white ham which was of very poor quality for an establishment like this. Apart from these small problems, very happy with our stay.

09/08/2024: I'm not in the habit of giving a bad review but I was very upset by this stay. The soundproofing of the rooms is horrible. Silence in a room, tranquility, is still the basis of any stay, especially a 4-star hotel. We can hear the neighboring rooms with their discussions (people talking, we could understand their sentences, and it was even worse when they were in their bathroom, it created an echo) we can hear their TV or when they turn on a tap. The staff explains to us that this is the first time they have heard this kind of remark with an unpleasant tone. What a lie knowing that other comments talk about it. Our room also overlooked the tennis and pétanque court. Result no peace. You might as well take a hotel in the middle of town. I want an experience like that in a Formula 1, but not 550 euros for two nights. Breakfast at 20 euros to which must be added coffee shots at 3 euros. Result: two double espressos for 12 euros. No understanding from the staff who don't care about you at all. Besides, it’s simple, I have rarely seen such unpleasant hotel staff. 52 euros for the breakfast bill. I was already upset about the rooms, I preferred to calm down. I also think that when you hate your stay, you no longer forgive anything. Never again in this hotel whose exterior and corridors resemble a municipal hall from the 80s. I think that the problem with the rooms cannot be remedied because it is a construction problem, so I wish them courage for the future. Too bad because the rooms are very beautiful. And it’s right next to Vence and Saint Paul de Vence.

26/01/2024: Les plats commandés sont recherchés, bons mais sans plus ! Nous avons été déçus par le fait que c’était à peine tiède et trop gras. Les entrées peu généreuses. Resto très bruyant, mauvaise insonorisation …. Et en plus le prix est costaud !

11/08/2024: Order placed on Uber Eats, I order 2 pizzas, an Italian with 3 tomatoes fighting a duel, such a thin crust, never seen that, 15€ anyway for that to have 3 tomatoes and barely any sauce, and 1 almost very thin mountain pizza. no very dry sauce. I am very disappointed.

18/07/2024: My recent stay at The Eze Hermitage was a horrifying ordeal that should serve as a stark warning to anyone considering booking a stay there. The nightmare began with the absence of air conditioning in our room, which forced us to leave the balcony door of our second floor room slightly ajar for ventilation. This lack of comfort turned into a catastrophic lapse in security when an intruder managed to climb up onto our balcony and break into our room. We woke up to find the man crawling into our room and stealing $400 worth of our belongings. To add insult to injury, when we rushed downstairs for assistance, we discovered that the front desk was deserted and there was no night security, contrary to what the management had claimed. We were left to fend for ourselves in a distressing situation that could have easily been avoided with proper safety measures. Clearly, we found another hotel for the second night of our trip, as staying at The Eze Hermitage was no longer an option. Despite the severity of the incident, the inn demonstrated a shocking lack of accountability and customer service. After enduring a week of fruitless back-and-forth communications, they made a great show of their so-called "generosity" for not charging us for the second night we didn't stay and grudgingly offered only a partial refund for the one night, which does nothing to compensate for the trauma and financial loss we suffered. In summary, The Eze Hermitage is a prime example of negligence and poor hospitality. I strongly advise against staying here unless you want to risk your safety and well-being.

12/07/2024: I stopped for a coffee at the hotel bar, the Italian bartender did not want to make me a coffee even though he was serving coffees to 4 hotel guests. He told me to ask the lady at reception......who prepared it for me "very kindly"....with a smile....!!!

05/08/2024: Hôtel rénové avec goût. Literie impeccable. Professionnels de l Hôtel très agréable. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Nous avons de la famille sur mandelieu, nous reviendrons dans cet hôtel.

13/06/2024: Excellent, top notch, I'm a somewhat long-standing customer now. I order there often, never been disappointed, whether it's the telephone service or delivery, or the pizza itself. Among the best for me around Saint-Laurent, it's good, well prepared, fair price, and some original recipes (I particularly recommend "France", not necessarily out of chauvinism but we rarely find this combination with parsley which can surprising at first but which actually goes very well).

24/08/2024: Do not recommend.. The food seemed to be made very basic, raw materials/peoduce of low quality. We got Chèvre chaud for starter, cheese and bread was OK, but the salad seemed to be directly from a bag and then the typical cheap fried onion from the nearest Carrefour express. Mains, entrecôte with fries, both again seem to be low quality and made with little effort. Even at home, one would make a bigger effort to make a better presentation. We ended with tarte aux pommes, which may or may not be homemade.... But we were definitely heated in a microwave and served with cream from a can.... Worst food experience in Nice so far. Good note of the service, even though he seemed stressed due to being by himself, with too many tables, he was still attentive.

10/08/2024: I absolutely do not recommend this all you can eat sushi restaurant. From the start, I was disappointed by the total lack of consideration for customers. No one was taking care of us, I had to get up several times to order. Regarding the food, it was simply inedible. There was very little choice, and options that should be included in the all-you-can-eat formula given the price, such as sashimi and beef-chicken skewers, are each charged at €5. The chicken skewers were raw, the gyozas seemed clearly frozen and reheated two days before, they were so elastic. Honestly shameful, I don't understand how they dare to serve this rubbish for 21€. The yakitoris were raw and therefore completely inedible, the portions ridiculously small, whether it was the bobun, the rice or even the green curry... Ashamed to serve dishes in this state! In short, an experience to forget. Move on, this restaurant is really not worth it.

19/09/2024: I have travelled the world and most of Asia and being a vegetarian is hard work in any country trust me. But this chinese restaurant has blown me away. taste , flavour, texture of the food was something i have not tasted for a long time in any restaurant. i am coming back tomorrow for lunch before i fly home. for us vegans and vegetarians out there finding a restaurant is hard but look no further. WOW . veggies, tofu and noodles .

25/08/2024: I have never written a review although I have been coming regularly to this restaurant for several years - this explains the five stars - and I will continue to come with just as much pleasure. What more can I say, other than to say that I highly recommend it.

16/09/2024: Like visiting a friend’s house for breakfast. The proprietor is the highlight…not to undersell the ambiance. We were offered several options, and ended up with a variety of delicious items. Highly recommend.

10/09/2024: A delightful and unique experience. A great change from the “sidewalk cafe” options elsewhere. Brilliantly prepared food from the kind and friendly proprietor. There are only a few choices at any time; he emphasizes thoughtfulness in each dish. The dishes are simple in concept but complex in their execution. Lovely.
