07/09/2024: 2024: We arrived one hour early because our hotel apartment was not ready. So we borrowed the chairs outside. We were warmly welcomed by the staff 30 minutes later. We ordered a delicious evening meal. 3 different choices as we all have our preferences. Everything fresh. Meat, noodles and rice. I got extra 🌶️ chili. Strong and fresh. After a long day driving more than 500 km this was like being treated in an expensive restaurant. The difference is that this is an affordable eating place with healthy food. Later in the week I tried alternative places on same street. No comparison in the way I enjoyed Pagoda. 2023: We tried two other nearby eating places for variation, but this is the only place where I feel good after eating. We had soup, wok and rice. Thank you for healthy and delicious food. 2022: This place deserves a Michelin star. I would have liked to give it 6 Google stars. We had soup, noodles and chicken with a touch of Thai curry. The family running this business since 1999 are very friendly and helpful to advice. The food ingredients are fresh and cooked by professionals. Healthy cooking with vegetables and not too much oils. Thanks to this place I got to eat wok with noodles with a unique taste. A couple of hours later my stomach was in a good shape. It had suffered from nearby fast food since the weekend. Thank you In the evening we could not resist. We bought takeaway beef and shrimps. Cooked rice in hotel apartment. Yet another perfect meal. Amazing. Next evening we also came back to eat Ramen and Phou soup. Ordered Sushi to eat in the hotel balcony. The gentleman serving gave me extra fresh chili as I like 🔥 food. Conclusion: We live like kings in Pagoda Restaurant.

26/12/2024: I ordered the vegetable bhuna as the plat de jour. It was a tasteless watery mix of frozen vegetables. Oh dear. You will not see me again

29/08/2024: 20 minutes pour ne serait-ce qu’avoir la carte après de multiples sollicitations. Les repas étaient basique au possible, c’est clairement du réchauffer. Après le plat on a attendu 30 mins la carte des desserts. On a finis par partir parce qu’on ne comptaient pas y dormir dans le restaurant. Bref, la gestion est clairement à revoir.

25/09/2024: Nous nous sommes rendus dans ce restaurant entre amis. Magnifique décor, service au top et rapide. Les desserts sont présentés sur un plateau, ils donnent tous envie. Plats très bons. Nous avons pris de la saule et des calamars frits. Les plats sont copieux. Très agréable de manger les pieds dans le sable avec une magnifique vue.

16/08/2024: Prezzi esorbitanti a partire da una semplice bibita. Personale poco empatico. Anche se non si era ancora finito la consumazione ad un certo punto è stato chiesto il pagamento anticipato...(Mancavano ancora 3 sorsi)...p.s. nel locale si era in 4 gatti. Hanno comunicato solo in francese, quindi non si sa se ci si può capire ulteriormente...di conseguenza ci si è limitati a prendere solo da bere. Si era i giro a Nizza per affari...si Noi...ma un consiglio, non si fanno così gli affari. In sintesi molti altri locali ci hanno accolto, ma con un sorriso ed una professionalità differente. Think different

17/12/2024: I stayed here in July of 2024 for only one night. I emailed the hotel letting them know I would arrive at midnight and they responded promptly, letting me know they would be there to accommodate me. I had a monthly airbnb for over 6 weeks so I only needed a place for a night. The airbnb ended up being a total nightmare and I had to move to another place but I always went to Mas de Vence to work as I was traveling and working on a different time zone. The family was amazing and so was the staff. They expected me everyday and never charged me for the wifi usage although I was no longer staying at the hotel. They served me water while I took my meetings without me asking and told me I could use the pool free of charge. This family and even the guests are just so kind and caring, it was a breath of fresh air. Merci et Merci encore pour votre hospitalité. Je suis la dame de Californie qui parle l'italian aussi. Desolé pour ce review tardive.

17/09/2024: Location. View. This City...this is enough for 5 stars. Because the Promenade des Anglais is one of the most beautiful avenues in the world. All the major hotels in Nice are trained for excellence and French-style service.

14/09/2024: Second hotel of Nice trip There were some bad reviews, so I just booked based on the view. The staff are also very friendly The view and room condition were all very good. The beach is right in front and there are many restaurants nearby. Next time I come to Nice again I'm planning to book my entire itinerary at this hotel. I recommend it because the price is reasonable.
