15/12/2024: Superb discovery! The dishes are delicious, there is a lot of choice and the staff is top notch! The ladies who served us are welcoming and very friendly... Plus, the atmosphere is AMAZING!!! and above all very calm and relaxing. Thank you very much for this wonderful meal, I recommend!

03/01/2026: For us, it's an unmissable family tradition for New Year's Day dinner. We start with the lentil tradition for good luck and a little extra cash... And then, spit-roasted guinea fowl in a simple, friendly, and very convivial atmosphere. Absolutely unmissable!

28/12/2025: We were visiting the Cathar castles in the area, and around midday we stopped in Roquefère. We took the opportunity to have lunch at Sire De Cabaret, where the "maître d'" (waitress) served us very kindly. We ordered a salad and a cassoulette. It was a good thing we only ordered that, because she served us enormous portions that we could barely finish. It was delicious, and we honestly have to go back another time, if only to taste that excellent dish again and say hello to the "maître d'."

18/01/2026: The welcome and service were cold, to say the least... icy 👎😡 However, the food was delicious 👍👍😁 Everything was homemade and flavorful. The spring rolls, beef samosas... For our main course, we chose the Pad Thai, a typical Thai dish. I found all the flavors of Thailand. A generous portion. Note: the photos already published on Google showing the menu prices are not up-to-date (the Pad Thai or Pad See Ew are not €10 but €13.50, for example). This restaurant would deserve 5 stars for value for money IF the friendliness of both the welcome and the service (already mentioned in published reviews) had been there.

03/11/2025: Delicious and inexpensive... a great place not to be missed. Stir-fried noodles, bo bun, Thai soup 🥰, caramel chicken, and other dishes I've already tried... and it was just perfect!!

31/01/2026: It’s been 8 months and I still get speechless every time I think about our wedding weekend at Chateau du Puits Es Pratx! Everything from the 2 years of planning correspondance, to the details and everything through out the weekend was exceptional. I honestly would love nothing more to repeat the weekend again! Lily and Luke were just incredible, Lily handled our initial enquiry where we spoke via email for the 2.5 years prior. We went and visited in 2023 and got to stay and see the property and taste the food, I know after we left that’s where I wanted to get married. The family run business made it so appealing and we just felt like it was perfect. The wedding weekend itself was just amazing, every single person who worked at the chateau felt like part of a big family, and saying goodbye to them was much more difficult than I expected it to be. Lily was amazing with planing all the details throughout the day, while Luke was on hand for anything we needed, and I genuinely felt like nothing was too much for either of them. As we had a smaller wedding we felt like we got to know Lily, Luke and the staff so well over the course of the 3 days. A special shout out to Sacha for the most beautiful flowers, I had no idea what to expect and she organised them beautifully, everyone loved them! The chateau itself was something out of a postcard, having an international wedding, we had people from New Zealand, England and France travel for this and I know they absolutely loved it too. I can honestly say this was our fairytale wedding, I am so grateful that we chose this gorgeous spot in the South of France and will forever be dreaming about this special weekend!

13/12/2025: I had a wonderful time. It's à la carte or a set menu... the prices are reasonable for the starter, main course, and dessert. The staff were friendly and the meal was simply excellent. We will gladly return. I highly recommend it.

07/02/2026: The great thing about this restaurant and its new owner is that they offer set menus instead of a la carte. The menus are exceptionally delicious, inexpensive, and change every week. The quality is excellent, and the combination of flavors and presentation is a delight. The wines on the menu are primarily from the village and surrounding area and are superb.

25/02/2026: A fantastic find! From the pizzas to the Camembert platter, everything was absolutely delicious. The ingredients are high-quality, well-prepared, and generously portioned. Special mention goes to the friendly staff, the warm welcome, and the attentive, smiling service from beginning to end. You truly feel welcome. A wonderful place with excellent value for money. I highly recommend it and will gladly return!

22/10/2025: We received a very warm welcome at this restaurant where we ate pizzas. They were simply delicious! The dough was excellent, the toppings fresh and plentiful. A real treat. The waiter was friendly and pleasant to work with. Recommended restaurant

05/03/2026: A blanquette that wasn't really a blanquette... a trout fillet with lemon sauce that had absolutely no lemon flavor, very disappointed

26/03/2026: My son, who is just over eight years old, ordered a children's menu. We were served, and he received a portion of pasta that looked like it belonged to a four- or five-year-old. So, I politely asked for more pasta, and a young woman came to my table, very haughty, telling me that these were the normal portions and that if I wanted more pasta, I should just choose an adult menu! I showed her with the plate, which she could see, just like me, that there were only four bites and that it was unacceptable to serve that! Anyway, she remained inflexible and told me that no one had complained about the portions. I started to get angry, so I ended the discussion. I continued eating, my stomach in knots because I was so upset, and of course, I gave my son more of my own dish so he wouldn't be hungry anymore. I clearly stated that it was my last visit and took a picture of the dish to leave a Google review. When I received the bill, the woman told me she had given a €2 discount on the set menus and added whipped cream to the dessert, but I would have preferred to pay the normal price and have been treated with consideration from the start, so it didn't change my opinion of the service.

07/03/2026: A small, impromptu, last-minute aperitif dinner with a small group. The mixed appetizer platter was excellent and we'll definitely be back. A very warm welcome, thank you to the owner, we will return. Happy pétanque players of Vinassan!

22/03/2026: We only ate at the restaurant. But it was a very pleasant surprise. Really excellent. The meat was cooked over a wood fire in a fireplace at the back of the room.

11/03/2026: A huge congratulations to this restaurant, which is simply the best in the entire region! The dishes are absolutely delicious; you can immediately tell that the ingredients are fresh and of high quality. Each plate is a true delight, and we enjoy ourselves every time we visit. The welcome is warm, the atmosphere is pleasant, and we always have a wonderful time. It's clearly a must-visit in the city.
