13/01/2026: They don't take reservations, so when we finished visiting the castle, we went back to this restaurant for lunch. We ordered the typical cassoulet, onion soup, and entrecote steak with potatoes, all for two people, and yes, it was a lot, but we didn't regret it at all because everything was delicious. That said, we didn't have room for dessert. We really liked the restaurant, the service was very friendly, and the food, as I said, was a 10/10, so I recommend it. We also didn't think it was too expensive for everything we ate. Oh! And the wine! What a delicious wine! We didn't order any particular one; we drank the house wine.

09/01/2026: Very happy we stopped in here for lunch. They had a fixed price menu for €19 that was fantastic. Very filling and home-style cooking.

26/11/2025: The apartment is very well located and pleasant, but the common areas leave something to be desired. This may be due to the fact that we came off-season, when everything is closed.

10/07/2025: Great grill restaurant, very generous on the tapenade portions but not so much on the grilled dishes. It lacks a little grilling tutorial for people who don't know how to cook, like photos of how long you should let certain shellfish cook, etc.

09/07/2025: A restaurant that passes when you're hungry, but honestly, the mussels marinière... very disappointed, you can tell they're not fresh, 3 tons of dehydrated parsley, not to mention the frozen garlic... the mussels are crispy... in short, a tourist restaurant.

17/03/2026: Waiting more than 10 minutes at the click and collect point and having to go inside to pick up your order is unacceptable.

17/03/2026: McDonald's is getting worse and worse!!!! The Sunday roll was barely filled and the double cheese fries had very few fries and hardly any cheese! Next time I'm ordering at the counter and I'll return everything that's wrong until you treat customers with respect! At the price of these meals, it's unacceptable!!!!

13/11/2025: Our go-to restaurant since we started coming on holiday with our children. It's THE restaurant to go to. The location is magnificent, with boats, a beautiful sunset, and impeccable service and waiters! Everything is delicious; we've tried several meals! Thank you to the whole team!

26/10/2025: A very generous meal; if you're looking for quantity, this is the place to be! The welcome is decent, the service is fast and pleasant! The prices are OK. However, the food is very average, worthy of a large chain, or even less... In the salads, the vegetables (tomato salad) are of poor quality and flavorless. The oysters are large but very salty. The mussels have a plastic texture and no flavor; luckily the sauce is good to make up for it! However, after this meal, it's impossible to be hungry again! But if you're looking for quantity rather than quality, you've come to the right place!

17/02/2026: Spacious, clean room with a comfortable bed. Very quiet hotel. The owner was very kind, helpful, considerate, and professional. We would gladly return. We highly recommend it.

07/12/2025: A peaceful place suitable for everyone! Warm welcome, breakfast exceeded our expectations. Clean and spacious rooms. One word: Incredible! You can book with your eyes closed.

10/12/2025: Hazard led us to a little gem... In Couiza, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit. All-you-can-eat buffet. From appetizers to desserts. A real treat. The couscous is perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will be back soon. Thanks again and see you soon.

25/02/2026: Gives off a very 1970’s zen type of vibe with it’s dark orange/black decor and furnishings. Very clean and quiet. Incredible view of the walls. The room faced a small garden. A stones throw walking distance to the Cité Médiévale gate.

19/02/2026: As a regular customer of the Montmorency and Octroi group for several years, I had to cancel my stay at the last minute due to a red alert issued in the department (and especially in Carcassonne) for rain, wind, and flooding. My room was charged under the "general terms and conditions of sale" clause, excluding cancellations made within the cancellation period. This completely disregarded the exceptional nature of the cancellation and my loyalty to their establishments. Despite the general terms and conditions of sale and the exceptional circumstances, loyalty is not rewarded, and I will remember this for my future bookings.

29/01/2026: New owners since October 2025, the efficient, welcoming, and friendly team is still here: Henry, Stéphanie, and Marie. The new owner and Marie are very active in the wine cork collection program, thus reducing incineration and landfill waste. Thank you so much for your involvement! ♻️🫶🏼🌍 Finally, the two terraces (one facing the boulevard and the other the canal) are still inviting with their windbreaks.
