13/01/2026: They don't take reservations, so when we finished visiting the castle, we went back to this restaurant for lunch. We ordered the typical cassoulet, onion soup, and entrecote steak with potatoes, all for two people, and yes, it was a lot, but we didn't regret it at all because everything was delicious. That said, we didn't have room for dessert. We really liked the restaurant, the service was very friendly, and the food, as I said, was a 10/10, so I recommend it. We also didn't think it was too expensive for everything we ate. Oh! And the wine! What a delicious wine! We didn't order any particular one; we drank the house wine.

15/04/2026: Very disappointing! We ordered the daily special for lunch: The mixed salad as a starter was fine, but we had to wait a very long time for the main course (more than half an hour). My request was met with a very rude response from the server, and then we were served a half-burnt, inedible duck leg, which we had to send back. After another long wait, something edible finally arrived.

Lunch consisted of fresh oysters of exceptionally high quality: meaty, flavorful, and perfectly chilled. The combination with the onion vinegar is particularly recommended; it elevates the oysters to a whole new level. A refreshing, well-chilled white or rosé wine paired perfectly with them. Another highlight was the shrimp with garlic mayonnaise—fresh, aromatic, and simply delicious. The owner is exceptionally kind and helpful, and the service is friendly and unobtrusive. The value for money is remarkably good: For the quality and freshness offered, you pay significantly less here than in other countries (Austria, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Spain). The location is also convenient: Parking spaces are usually available nearby. After your meal, you can enjoy a pleasant stroll or a refreshing swim at the nearby nudist beach. The beach was surprisingly clean at the end of April, much cleaner than many comparable beaches we know from Italy or Spain. In conclusion: An authentic, uncomplicated, and high-quality restaurant that impresses above all with its excellent oysters, the friendly owner, and the outstanding value for money. It's advisable to avoid peak hours, as it gets very noisy then, and cleanliness suffers. Anyone in the area should definitely try this restaurant; we will certainly be back.

19/04/2026: We arrived on a Sunday at 1 p.m. Our order was taken with a smile upon arrival, and we were told there would be a slight wait due to the restaurant's high volume of customers, which is usually a sign of quality. But apparently, the "you'll be served in 5 minutes" turned into a 1 hour and 15 minute wait for each customer on our terrace. Yes, the products are fresh and meet our expectations. The terrace was full, but the least they could do is apologize and not blame the chef "who's on top of things"—that's no excuse. They are undoubtedly good oyster farmers, but we still have our doubts about whether they are restaurateurs. During the wait, we weren't even offered a bread basket because, and I quote, "it's extra." It was served with two small pats of salted butter. Ponpon on the Garonne River, we arrived at the register and waited 15 minutes. Getting lost in paper order forms and having to repeatedly call on colleagues because disorganization is a cornerstone of their establishment. Blaming the customer for not knowing their table number is quite surprising. In conclusion, the place is great, the products are fresh and sourced, but don't expect to be served in a hurry and don't expect any kind of discount at the end of your meal. 21/02/2026: The owner already counted my children without asking their ages. She even counted the baby who wasn't eating. All for the money. It's horrible, very dirty, the cutlery is awful, there's no sushi left at the first seating at 8 am, shameful, the plates are dirty. A restaurant to avoid, I've never seen anything like it, it's shameful. The waiters and the owner aren't smiling, they're cold. They should change professions

21/02/2026: Meh, I won't be going back! Not great! I paid for a children's menu for a 16-month-old baby even though I was told it was free for them. We were both very sick the next day.

A real treat; we had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed our meal! In short, I highly recommend it! A special mention to "little guy," who I hope will recognize himself!
