22/09/2026: This so-called restaurant doesn't deserve the name at all. The welcome was awful and there was absolutely no politeness. And don't even get me started on the menu, because we were practically thrown out! Luckily, there are other restaurants in the area with very nice owners and excellent food. AVOID THIS RESTAURANT.

20/09/2026: As regulars at the pond, we tried calling to see if we could still come! First attempt: answering machine. I didn't leave a message, then changed my mind, thinking I could leave one anyway. The answering machine seemed to pick up, there was a crackling sound, and then the call was cut off… Third attempt: someone shouted at me, “Can't you see you're bothering us?!” “No, Madam, I didn't realize I was bothering you. I just wanted to make a reservation… if you don't want to be bothered, just leave your message!” When it comes to this! I think it's better to change careers, as the quality of service is a crucial aspect of the restaurant business! In any case, you won't be seeing us again!

01/07/2026: A pleasant experience at La Table de l'Olivier in the Mercure Carcassonne. I was a little disappointed not to have dined on the terrace. It's a hotel restaurant, but one might expect a bit more atmosphere. The chef's cuisine is simple yet delicious. If you're staying at the hotel, don't hesitate; otherwise, there are better options in Carcassonne.

04/06/2026: I absolutely loved my dinner here! The orange-honey glazed chicken breast was a highlight—perfectly cooked, tender, and full of flavor. The melon and ham carpaccio was a great starter, too. I finished my meal with a molten chocolate lava cake that was simply divine. If you’re looking for a great meal in Carcassonne, I highly recommend this place. Truly satisfied! I had the best dinner in Carcassonne! The orange-honey glazed chicken breast was especially exquisite, perfectly cooked and incredibly juicy. The melon and ham carpaccio appetizer was also wonderfully balanced. The molten chocolate lava cake for dessert was rich and a perfect finish. If you’re looking for a great meal in Carcassonne, I highly recommend this place!

10/07/2026: We liked a a bbg chicken but french fries and cesar salat are excellent, very tasty. We dont like a they don’t have a toilet

13/04/2026: Excellent service and cuisine, very warm atmosphere, consistent in these areas as I have been going there regularly for years!

22/08/2026: We arrived at 8:20 am for a full lunch for two. The waitress, sitting on the terrace smoking a cigarette, coldly informed us that it wasn't possible to sit on the terrace as the restaurant didn't open until 8:30 am. Thanks for the welcome! So we left... a shame, as it meant wasting several meals that went elsewhere.

17/08/2026: I think the pizzas were frozen and the crepes were in a bag; honestly, I felt ripped off.

10/02/2026: One of the oldest breweries at the entrance to the pedestrian street. 5 minutes from the station. 2 minutes from the “Chénier” bus stop. A place where you feel good… Go there and give me some news.

25/01/2026: We stopped for lunch as we were passing through because we had a 4-hour drive ahead of us... my partner ordered cassoulet and I had prawns, and we both got sick... The cassoulet was sour, the sausage had a strange smell, the prawns were overcooked and tasteless—in short, change your kitchen... a disgrace to French gastronomy... incomprehensible and unacceptable, because the point of going to a restaurant is not to get sick. Please check your kitchen.

05/06/2026: Quick, easy, and efficient, the fries are excellent.

12/03/2026: Avoid this place at all costs! I was relaxing on the terrace with a friend, having a coffee. Important to remember for later: the café was empty. A friend happened to join us five minutes later to get a coat. This greatly irritated the café's "manager," who expressed her annoyance by throwing ashtrays on the tables around us and even going so far as to throw my friend's bag on the floor. Furthermore, she just kept stewing next to us, making it perfectly clear that we were not welcome in her shabby café. She practically threw us out. We paid for our coffees, and to our surprise, the price displayed was incorrect. Avoid this place; head instead to Café Le Mistral, just 10 meters away.

21/08/2026: Excellent service and very good products; after buying numerous pastries, I was absolutely not disappointed. I highly recommend going there with a baguette, which stayed fresh despite the late hour I bought it.

28/09/2026: Very disappointed. Too expensive for chicken thighs with a salt crust. Which wasn't actually a salt crust at all, just a small pile of salt on the side! The chicken was undercooked and still pink. The restaurant was noisy. In the evening, there was a mosquito infestation. In short, for two people, chicken thighs with fries, a chocolate Mouvaux cheese, a French toast brioche, and a carafe of water = €80. Tourist trap.

25/09/2026: The setting was lovely. A beautiful view of the salt marshes and a nicely shaded terrace. However, during a rather quiet period (late September), the service was rushed. Orders were taken almost as soon as we arrived. I ordered a seafood platter, which arrived less than two minutes after ordering, before our aperitifs, and therefore well before the other courses at our table. A bit disappointing. We still have fond memories, but we wouldn't necessarily recommend it; it's too "touristy" for our taste.

29/08/2026: I am very disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. I bought a kebab from you and, while eating it, I found a cockroach inside. This is truly unacceptable and very worrying regarding hygiene. I hope you will take this situation seriously and take the necessary steps quickly.

15/07/2026: The place is clean, the two servers were very friendly and helpful. The price is good; I ordered a large naan kebab with fries and a Coke, €10 is very reasonable! The naan was huge and delicious. I highly recommend this place if you want to enjoy a delicious naan. I'll definitely be back.

04/06/2026: Seafood pizza was tasteless. The oriental pizza was okay.

07/05/2026: Ordered a Southwest-style pizza, but the merguez sausages were missing. Ordered a Norwegian-style pizza with a cream base, but I received tomato sauce. The salmon was nowhere to be found, despite adding mushrooms for extra. I'm a caterer, and I'm not ashamed to admit it, but even the pastry wasn't worth it. I'm sorry, but I won't be back. Furthermore, the payment terminal and the exterior of the kitchen had been touched, and hands hadn't been washed... A professional failing on my part.

24/08/2026: Two pizzas for a quick fix on a Sunday night while driving. We saw some young people working hard, and the pizzas were very good. To the complainers giving it 0 stars: 1) it's fast food, not fine dining; 2) you can be disappointed by a pizza, it happens; and 3) it's not worth giving negative reviews to young people who are working hard... I didn't throw away the leftovers, I ate them for lunch.

23/08/2026: Top-notch! Pizzas ready in 15 minutes on a Sunday evening in August while I was on the road, very friendly staff, and delicious pizzas. I don't see myself in the negative reviews I've read.

24/09/2026: Fast and efficient service, the lady was smiling and very friendly, I recommend her without hesitation!

20/09/2026: Afternoon snack with three children and two adults. A place to avoid! Order online, and the servers were completely indifferent. We got our order in three separate attempts, and only after asking twice! (20-minute wait). The servers were nonexistent on the terrace; they didn't bring us the bill, and we had to go pay ourselves or leave without saying a word—they wouldn't even notice. The muffins arrived piping hot because they had been defrosted.

26/09/2026: The cup (of tea) of my wife was dirty, the cocomilk was expired. Pfff. Staff is friendly

25/09/2026: A truly exquisite ribeye steak, tender as butter, served with perfectly cooked homemade fries! An incredible Nutella mousse, and the cocktails were just right! A very pleasant and friendly team! A huge thank you for this wonderful evening, don't change a thing! ❤️

12/09/2026: I can't confirm the friendly staff. The espresso was also mediocre.

09/09/2026: The buffet was sparse, the food was cold or overcooked... I don't recommend it.

03/09/2026: Not bad, but far from exceptional. And the shrimp... a horror! The ones with the chili sauce were tiny, while the others were fried whole, shells and legs and all. It seemed rushed, and the selection was quite limited compared to other buffets I've been to.
