02/02/2026: As a regular at this Hippopotamus restaurant, I come back often and it's always a pleasure. The staff is welcoming and friendly, the service is efficient, and the food is very good for the price. The cooking is perfect and the portions are generous.
Special mention to Lyes for his excellent service!
The atmosphere is calm and pleasant, perfect for a relaxing meal. I highly recommend it!

Good quality food. The Corsican burger was excellent. The portion size is perfect: neither too light nor too filling!
The welcome and service are very good. There was little wait, and the prices are quite reasonable.
The atmosphere is warm, even though there were relatively few people: there's a working wood fire!
Parking is very easy and free, too.
A bonus: the sound system in the restaurant is very good.
Highly recommended!

04/02/2026: Hello...what can I say...people snicker behind customers' backs...you also hear swearing when customers are called by name...but still...asking for your meat to be cooked medium again seems to bother people, especially since you've already specified it and the pic reminds you of it...Curious...
04/02/2026: We've been coming for several years and have always been delighted.
But this time, the wait was far too long, the waiter was unhelpful, and the appetizer platter for six was ridiculously overpriced at €11.
The glasses were dirty, but the meat was still of good quality.
In short, I can understand the difficulty in finding professional staff, but they need to take responsibility or change professions, and I'm not one to give negative reviews.
I hope there will be a change of heart.

01/10/2024: Responsive staff and waiter, attentive, smiling and pleasant. Good value for money. We had the Hold UP menu at lunchtime, the quality of the meat is superb and their Roquefort sauce is incredibly tasty. I highly recommend

10/07/2025: Rinse the beer glass with water that was still in it (my napkin was even brown after drying it...). The food presentation is poor, and the meat isn't cooked properly. Honestly, this must be the least pleasant Buffalo restaurant I've ever visited.
The establishment isn't very clean.
The service, at least, is pleasant.

15/01/2026: We recently moved to Vannes. This is our second time dining here (we arrived today, January 15th, around 7:45 pm), and just like the first time, the staff is fantastic. A young brunette woman who seems to be the manager and two men, one of whom is older: all three were wonderful, both in terms of the welcome and the service. We will definitely be back.
