24/08/2026: A beautifully decorated restaurant with quality cuisine, but the portion sizes, given the prices, are frankly perplexing. We are used to discovering many restaurants, including in major capitals, where high prices can be justified by exceptional ingredients, a unique experience, or genuine culinary artistry. Here, we unfortunately found the value for money difficult to defend. A burrata tomato for €15, excuse me??? followed by a beef fillet, admittedly very good, accompanied by pressed potatoes (gratin dauphinois), a small touch of eggplant caviar, and two shallots… If you wish to offer very measured portions, this can be done within the framework of a multi-course tasting menu, where the whole thing creates a true culinary experience. But here, the portions are simply too small to constitute a complete meal, to the point of leaving us still hungry and pushing us to order a dessert we wouldn't necessarily have wanted. We particularly enjoy restaurants in this price range, and even higher, and I rarely leave negative reviews. But here, I really felt the prices were disproportionate to what was offered. Aesthetically pleasing, with enjoyable food, but the value for money was simply unacceptable to us.

08/08/2026: We were at this establishment on July 8, 2026. I must commend the waitress, but also have a negative review regarding the service. It's unacceptable that the dining room was full and she was the only one serving... we waited a very, very long time. (Not entirely her fault.) We wanted to order desserts, and after a 20-minute wait, we decided to pay and leave... what a shame! The carbonara pasta is best avoided, but perhaps it's just one dish. In short... it's okay in a pinch. 🙂👍🏼

The food was delicious, the meat was really excellent, and the unlimited fries were a huge bonus 😋🍟 Special mention to the waitress who was lovely, smiling, very polite, and incredibly attentive—it was a real pleasure! One small complaint, though: the little Marcellin sausage was missing from my hamburger. That's a shame, especially since it's an essential ingredient... Luckily, I noticed! 😉 And to finish, a pear tiramisu... excellent! 🍐😍 Overall, a very good experience, with great products and truly pleasant service. We'll definitely be back! 😊

The "diet" welcome salad (lettuce, two kernels of corn), the cold burger, which was taken back to the kitchen (the cheese melted, but everything else was still cold), and the aperitif arrived right after the main courses were served! The worst part was the dessert. I ordered a fruit carpaccio (yum!), and wow, what a letdown when a fruit puree arrived in a glass (almost like a hospital glass) topped with ice shavings (supposedly strawberry ice cream). Unfortunately, I think the little Indians have disappeared. 😕

However, since the change of ownership, I've really enjoyed this place: a café/restaurant in a pleasant setting with very professional, friendly, helpful, and attentive staff. 10/05/2026: It was great! We ordered three appetizers to share; the croquettes were delicious and the tonkatsu pork was just perfect! For our main courses, we had two octopus dishes and a chicken with bacon and cheddar. Everything was amazing! We'll definitely be back next time we're in Cassis! You can go there without hesitation! Special mention to the waitress who was lovely and to the chef who truly knows his ingredients!
