21/02/2026: Fantastic evening with the Johnny Gallagher concert, great atmosphere. The Boss also sings, and very well, definitely worth doing again 👍. The waiters and waitresses are wonderful and full of good cheer, which they share 👍. A small suggestion: it would be great to have a nice cold non-alcoholic beer on tap 🍻

20/09/2025: So it's still just as good, very high quality, and local 😋 The only downside was that we were seated upstairs on the partially covered and enclosed terrace, which wasn't very nice and where we were cold. The downstairs room is great, why not open it up? 🤔

15/03/2026: The menu changes and the food is good, but the service can't keep up and the table service is very slow, especially the dessert which takes a long time to arrive.

14/03/2026: WE WILL NEVER SET FOOT IN THERE AGAIN: Reservation made for this Saturday at 12:45 PM (2 adults + 2 children). More than an hour later, worried, we decided to ask about our order. Then, as if by magic, almost within a minute, the two children's menus arrived, followed by the two adult sirloin steaks we had ordered. All this without any of the sauces we had requested, and with one wrong side dish. In front of us, the sirloin steaks we had ordered rare were CARBONIZED (and I assure you, I mean it). We sent them back (without difficulty, given their condition...) and then two more were brought to us, now past 2 PM. Still not rare, but medium, even very medium. We got up without even waiting for the children's desserts. In the end, they offered no apology whatsoever, apparently considering everything perfectly normal ("it's busy" has never been an excuse, especially not at 2 PM with a half-empty restaurant). They offered no compensation; we had to ask for it to get a 10% discount, or 6 euros off the bill. What we deeply regret, even more than the wait or the quality of the meal, is the COMPLETE LACK of apology or even basic honesty from this team. We will therefore never set foot in this establishment again, and we will advise others to do the same.

28/02/2026: Caesar salad at €15.90: a plate consisting almost entirely of lettuce with a few pieces of chicken… and as a bonus, a mosquito and a hair in the dish. At that price, you'd expect a minimum level of quality and, above all, hygiene. These things happen, I didn't say anything. But when the desserts arrived… They weren't any better; none of them were really good. OPHÉLIE, our waitress, was kind and pleasant. However, when we pointed out the problems at the end of the meal, STELLA was very unpleasant and unprofessional. A little listening, or simply an apology, or even a gesture of goodwill would have been appreciated. A very disappointing experience from beginning to end.

21/01/2026: I stopped by on Sunday for a lunch break; the cleanliness left much to be desired, and the service was also lacking.

01/03/2026: Excellent ribeye steak, cooked to perfection. The only downside was the dull knives (a basic requirement in a steakhouse). The order-taking process wasn't great. The dining room was noisy, but everything else was perfect. Overall, a positive experience.

25/10/2025: Shameful welcome. Arriving at 9:35 p.m., we were refused entry even though closing time is posted at 10:00 p.m. and only three tables were occupied. The server, clearly in a hurry to get things over with, didn't even say hello and simply made the sign of the cross with his hands to indicate "no." A disrespectful and impolite attitude, unworthy of an establishment that claims to welcome customers. A real lack of professionalism - to be avoided at all costs.

25/10/2025: A real scandal! Arriving at 9:40 p.m., we were refused entry even though closing time was clearly indicated at 10:00 p.m. Only 2 rooms with 4 tables occupied, so far from full! And the "server," if you can call him that, didn't even say hello—just a sign of the cross with his hands to say "no," as if we were disturbing him. Contemptuous behavior, zero sense of service, no politeness. When you work in the restaurant business, the basis is respect for the customer. Well, here, there is none. Move on, this kind of place is not worth spending a cent on.

20/01/2026: We went to Lyon to try La Belle Aurore's Oreiller. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The service at the shop was perfect.

15/01/2026: I bought the cushion, which was excellent. However, the welcome and service were disastrous, the saleswomen were unpleasant, and the prices… too high. I advise you to avoid this place if you value hospitality and your wallet.

04/09/2025: It's very good, but the quantities of meat and fish have decreased significantly in recent months; this is evident in the bibimbaps. Paying €19 for a bowl consisting essentially of rice, grated carrots, and mushrooms with 5 or 6 tiny pieces of chicken or squid is insufficient. It's also often a little too salty. The ravioli are delicious. The final bill is too high, excluding weekday lunch menus.

18/10/2025: Today's visit was completely inaccessible for strollers! Potholes, rocks... hills! It kind of spoils the visit. It's not a very welcoming park... It's a shame because it's the only one nearby, and it's quite large! Disappointed...

26/02/2026: Disappointed. Upon arrival, the welcome was quick, so far so good, but then again, it was 6:45 PM. We were seated close together to avoid chewing too much, no big deal, but noted. I looked for the restrooms and went towards the games room, where I found an employee asleep, lying down in the corner. Going up the stairs to the restrooms, the floor was sticky to my shoes, which spoke volumes. I didn't dare go into the kitchen. I finally sat down and found a mixture of dust and crumbs, as well as a wad of paper right next to my table in the partition separating the tables. "You'll have an aperitif while you choose," yes. We only had 10 minutes to choose, and our food arrived within 10 minutes. We didn't have time to drink the aperitif, so I ate it with our food. To top it all off, the music was too loud. In short, we're at McDonald's.

31/12/2025: Classic but high-quality cuisine. Very good fries and generous portions. Meat cooked perfectly. Friendly staff. Unfortunately, this restaurant closed at the end of 2025.

28/11/2025: Perfect for a break during a bike tour. Located by the road with a large, sunny garden seating area.

05/12/2025: Your restaurant is good. It's a shame the website says it's open when it's almost never open except for a few days, and even then it's rare. They just need to change the area where it says it's open. On the internet, they should say it's closed.

15/11/2025: From the very first minute, we felt incredibly comfortable here. The staff is unbelievably friendly, attentive, and efficient. You truly feel welcome and valued as a guest. But most importantly: the food was absolutely delicious! We enjoyed a variety of Italian specialties, and everything—from the appetizers to the pizza and pasta—was freshly prepared and of outstanding quality. A true Italian culinary delight that leaves you wanting more. In short: "Il Giardino" is the perfect combination of authentically good food and wonderfully friendly service. If you're in Lège-Cap-Ferret and craving Italian cuisine, you absolutely must eat here! Highly recommended and a well-deserved 5 out of 5 stars! 🇮🇹💖
