11/08/2026: No strollers or children allowed. On August 11, 2026, at 1:30 p.m., my wife and I arrived at the restaurant entrance for lunch. There were two of us, with our 9-month-old child in a stroller. The gentleman at the reception told us that strollers were not allowed in the establishment. We explained that we could fold and store the stroller and put the child on our laps or in a high chair. The waiter said he would make an exception, asked us to go around to the back entrance of the restaurant, and seated us in a corner at the back of the dining room. I should mention that it was 1:30 p.m., the terrace was only about a quarter full, and the dining room inside was empty. After a few minutes, we noticed that there was no breeze; it was 35 degrees Celsius (95 degrees Fahrenheit). We asked if it would be possible to move to either the three-quarters empty terrace or the (empty) indoor dining room near a fan, which was indeed present and working above the empty tables. The waiter indicated that it wasn't possible and offered to do us a favor by seating us with a child. We reminded him that we could fold the stroller. The waiter categorically refused, stating that the child wasn't eating and that it wasn't in his interest to give us a table on his (empty) terrace. So we left. Please change your practices, comply with regulations, or change professions if this is too difficult. Dear parents, dear customers, 300 meters further on is the restaurant Les Sablettes, where we received a perfect welcome with our child. We had the exceptional privilege of being seated at a table for four with a sea view, and we were even able to keep the stroller and high chair.

14/07/2026: Nice café with a cozy outdoor seating area. It’s a pleasant place to enjoy a coffee while watching the street. The drinks were good and the atmosphere was calm. Service was polite, although it could be a little faster during busy hours. Overall, it’s a great stop if you’re exploring the neighborhood.

31/07/2026: A very warm welcome, quick and friendly service, generous portions and reasonable prices; the homemade parsley fries and burrata were a delight. The Cuban atmosphere at the beginning of the evening is very pleasant. Afterwards, it shifts to a younger vibe; I don't like this atmosphere as much, but it's great for ending the evening with dancing.

21/07/2026: Syma was great for the first part of the evening. As for the music, you have to keep up with the times, it won't appeal to everyone, but personally I had a great time.

23/06/2026: I came with my wife and daughter. Despite the overall rating, we decided to try the first beer. It arrived undrinkable; even the owner admitted it and brought me a lukewarm bottled beer instead. The starter was a semi-cooked foie gras that was foie gras in name only—a raw foie gras, not energized—with an onion molasses. Following that, my wife ordered a scallop dish. It arrived served with chorizo, chorizo ​​sauce, and a kind of gingerbread, also with chorizo. The worst part was that the scallops weren't fresh. As a result, after a few bites, my wife felt really unwell and ended up vomiting in the restroom. We pointed this out to the waitress, who sent over the so-called head chef. He arrived with a plastic container with a label stuck on it, telling us they were still good, but look at the date. A real chef would never have taken seafood out of the cold room and brought it into the dining room in 30-degree heat, let alone opened the container. We got to the till, and I explained that my wife... My wife is 16 weeks pregnant. Barely out of the Tivoli restaurant in Vic-en-Bigorre, she started feeling very unwell: repeated vomiting, shortness of breath, and a headache. We called emergency services (15 in France), who immediately directed us to the emergency room. As a result, she was admitted to the hospital from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., underwent a full examination, received an IV drip, and was under medical observation. The doctor told us it was likely food poisoning. When I pointed out that the dish wasn't good, the cook came out of the kitchen with a simple plastic container holding the raw scallops to show them to me. This scene particularly surprised me. In my opinion, such delicate products shouldn't be handled or presented in this way in the dining room, especially during a heatwave. During our conversation, the owner told us he had personally brought the scallops back that very morning. Upon inspection, we found no refrigerated vehicles belonging to the establishment, only a Peugeot 5008 parked in front. This raised serious concerns about the conditions under which the food was transported and stored. When we inquired about the kitchen staff's qualifications, we were told that everyone was properly trained. Given the circumstances, this response did little to reassure us. The owner offered my wife's meal free of charge, as if the problem were a matter of a few euros, when our sole concern was her health and the risks associated with her pregnancy. Given the seriousness of the situation, I filed a complaint with the Regional Health Agency (ARS) and the relevant authorities so that the necessary inspections could be carried out and this would not happen again to other customers. I am recounting the events as we experienced them. After several hours spent in the emergency room and the consequences suffered by my pregnant wife, we will never set foot in this establishment again.

30/07/2026: The atmosphere at Beefbar Saint-Tropez was absolutely fantastic. The design, lighting and overall energy created a stylish and memorable setting, and this was easily the strongest part of the experience. Unfortunately, two major issues explain my low rating. First, the service was poor. I had to repeat parts of my order several times because they were forgotten, which I find unacceptable for a restaurant positioned at this level. The staff were not consistently attentive, and the service did not match the image or pricing of the venue. Second, the food was very average despite its fashionable presentation. The dishes looked impressive, but the taste was closer to what I would expect from a mid-priced restaurant and did not justify the premium prices charged. Overall, the atmosphere is excellent, but both the service and food quality need significant improvement.

29/07/2026: We had an absolutely fantastic time at Beefbar Saint-Tropez. The setting is simply magnificent, with an atmosphere that is elegant, refined, and relaxed all at once. The food was flawless; the exceptional meats were cooked to perfection and incredibly tender. The staff was incredibly attentive, and the service was impeccable, dynamic, and warm without being intrusive. Special mention goes to the cocktails, which were as beautiful as they were delicious.

02/08/2026: I wish it could be more dishes in the menu, the food took over 30 minutes to cook (we had 4 dishes) the bathroom was clean and we liked the place. Going up we didn't know it was a button to klick but then we needed to get up the stairs with our luggage so if your on a wheelchair idk if u getting up there tbh. The menu was mostly on chinese and French so if your only an English speaker ask the workers to translate. The staff was very kind and food was ab delicious

21/07/2026: The food tasted authentic and the service was excellent. However, the portions were shockingly small. I could accept a slightly higher price and larger portions, but a dish served on a tiny plate was barely enough to fill a person's teeth! The taste was genuinely good, like home-style cooking.

22/08/2026: Unfortunately, I expected better. The meat was cooked well, but that's where the positives end! The potato on the side was mealy, and the vegetables… what can I say? Bad or inedible, in any case, we didn't eat them… it's a shame to use canned or frozen vegetables and cook them poorly because they're so bad (especially in the middle of summer when the nearby market is overflowing with beautiful produce!). And then the dessert!… another great adventure! I understand you don't have time to make them yourself, but buy good quality ingredients; this is definitely budget-level stuff! So, okay, it's a grill restaurant, but the other dishes served should be good… in fact, during the week of August 15th, there were only 5 tables open… enough said!

23/04/2026: We had booked for 10 people for 3 days before the restaurant closed. When the (incredibly arrogant) waitress came to take our orders, she simply told us that there were only 3 fondues left. The staff was incredibly dishonest, as they should have mentioned this when we made the reservation by phone, especially since the restaurant is supposed to serve Savoyard specialties… This same waitress then mocked us as we were leaving, laughing and saying "unbelievable." In short, dishonest and disrespectful staff; avoid this place!
