16/10/2026: Endless wait: first to be seated despite having a reservation, then 40 minutes for the food, and another 10 minutes in line to pay. The food was good, but consequently, we ate it quickly...

01/10/2026: Long, too long. 1 hour 30 minutes to get a tomato mozzarella (good mozzarella but tomato lacking in taste) and a dessert (and they didn't even have my first choice anymore!) in the evening at 7:30 pm when there are only a few tables.

17/10/2026: ⭐ Very disappointed, I don't think I'll be back. The service was extremely slow: about two hours to finish a meal, despite the waitress's friendliness. The dishes were disappointing and didn't match the photos: small portions, tough meat with lots of sinew, overly salty dishes, and a burger that wasn't hot enough. Fortunately, the desserts were good. Another unpleasant surprise: the set menu, advertised at €22.90, jumped to €27.90 with a €5 surcharge indicated in small print. I find this rather opaque. Service: 1/5. Food quality: 1/5. The desserts somewhat redeemed the experience, but it wasn't enough to make me want to return.

12/10/2026: We had a wonderful meal at Hippopotamus; the food was absolutely delicious! 😊 A huge thank you to Virginie, our server, who was absolutely lovely from beginning to end. Always smiling, pleasant, and attentive, she made our meal even more enjoyable. It's truly a pleasure to be welcomed and served with such kindness! Thank you to her for her professionalism and cheerful disposition. A top-notch server! We'll definitely be back! 😊

26/08/2026: We arrived at 1 p.m. and ordered a duck breast and a ribeye steak. The steak was cooked well, but the quality of the ribeye was poor, full of gristle. The presentation of the dessert left much to be desired. They could do better. The price was a bit high.

22/08/2026: A warm welcome even arriving at 1:45 pm on a Saturday, refined cuisine, a very pleasant terrace, smiling and helpful staff, good quality wines, a charming place, I recommend it without hesitation and...with your taste buds open!

01/02/2026: Hello I received a very warm welcome last night at Chez Vesna restaurant. The food and presentation were exceptional. I had a wonderful evening and felt right at home.

11/10/2026: The restaurant itself remains the same, but yesterday there was a strong sewer smell that really made the meal unpleasant. The waitress told us that a repair was pending.

28/06/2026: Avoid this restaurant! I ordered a crispy chicken naan burger for lunch today, and this is what I got: completely dry! Where were the salad greens? (The lettuce, onions, tomatoes!) And when you call them to ask, they pretend they don't understand anything!

04/10/2026: I went to eat tonight and the service was completely inadequate. The waiter seemed lost and distracted, and the dishes that arrived weren't the right ones. Furthermore, my salad was served without bread, and I had to ask for it three times. In the middle of my meal, I wanted to take a break outside for a cigarette because I had a phone call to make. I had to leave the table before I had finished my meal, so I was on the terrace when the waiter came to get me to order dessert. I find this very disrespectful, as if they wanted to throw me out. I had to end my conversation. Also, I had ordered a steak cooked medium-rare, but unfortunately, I received a very rare, almost raw, and far too fatty steak.

03/10/2026: This is the first time I've gone to a restaurant and left without eating. Let me explain: we waited an hour! And all we got were drinks. So we decided to leave.

15/08/2026: Not pleasant at all. The meal was very mediocre. I don't recommend the kidneys, and the gratin was worthy of a low-end restaurant. They even had the nerve to talk down to my wife when she asked if they had milk other than semi-skimmed for her coffee, since she can't digest it. I recommend the small restaurant on the main street, Restaurant de la Bruche, instead. Very nice and friendly.

30/09/2026: I went as usual, but received a frosty reception and was told they couldn't serve me. I understand they were at capacity, but many tables were empty, and the way they said it and didn't even try to find a solution was appalling. It's a shame; usually I can come when I'm traveling without needing a reservation for just one person. 😅

22/09/2026: I just called (1:30 PM) to reserve a table and they literally told me to get lost because it was service time and then hung up on me...
