We booked a triple room for two nights. At arrival, the electronic key didn't work. We got a new one at the desk, and after some tries, it opened the door.
We went out and came back at 11 PM. It was very cold outside. The key didn't work again. We went to the reception. The receptionist gave us another key and told us not to put it near the phone (we already knew this). We tried again, but it still didn't work. We called the receptionist to our door. He saw the problem while we were freezing outside. He opened the door with a physical key, took our cards, and told us "we will see tomorrow morning". So, we were in a room without keys, unable to go out, in a half-empty hotel.
Inside the room, the third bed was missing sheets and a duvet. Worse, the pillowcase had blood on it. We went to the reception again. They just gave us the linens to make the bed ourselves.
The next morning, we went to breakfast. The buffet breakfast was actually quite rich and good. We hoped they had a solution for the room, but nothing. The night employee even took the only physical master key with him. We had to wait. Their new solution was: "come to the reception every time you need to open your door". We had to stay for two nights, so this idea was total madness.
We complained again. Finally, the only good employee came to check the door. He understood the door battery was dead and changed it. After that, it finally worked.
08/03/2026: The hotel was quiet and very clean. The welcome was friendly. The restaurant had a limited selection but was perfectly adequate.
One small drawback: only one chair in the room and only two towels in the bathroom, no hand towels... and no coat hook, just one.
Overall, we were still very happy. Thank you!

19/04/2026: I ordered the aioli with vegetables and fish, but was told they were out. So I settled for mussels marinière with fries. What a mistake! I'm writing this review in agony: I'm suffering from severe food poisoning; the spasms are forcing me to warn you!!! The only positive thing about all this is the weight I lost in just a few days: if you want your summer body, go for it, otherwise, steer clear... And I had to ask for dessert—after my plate had been cleared—from a waiter who was in a hurry to do something else.

27/10/2025: It's a bit like a "kitchen nightmare."
I go in for lunch, the room is empty and stays that way the whole time.
Instead of saying "hello," the waitress says "yes?", as if surprised that I'm allowed in.
Then, I'm disappointed by the menu and its price: €17.
At that price, I thought there was a dessert, but it's okay.
Then the spring rolls arrive as starters: 3 very small ones, with 4 (I counted) mint leaves. It's really cheap.
For the main course, the caramel pork is good but too cheap. The same goes for the rice, which is usually served in generous quantities in Asian restaurants.
In Pertuis, the menu is €12, 5 large spring rolls, generous caramel pork with lots of rice, and a dessert.
It feels like they're cutting corners here. And the waitress remained just as cold and unpleasant from start to finish.
I waited to see if she would finally thank us, but no.
Just a "goodbye" from behind her back, even though she had already left for the kitchen.
24/10/2025: I highly recommend this restaurant!!
As a customer for years, I've never been disappointed!
The staff is lovely and the food is delicious,
a real treat!

I'm giving it one star because it's mandatory.
The service is catastrophic, the restaurant is simply a warehouse, and its cleanliness is appalling. I don't even understand how the hygiene department or the Beth Din (rabbinical court) isn't doing anything about it…
Avoid at all costs.

24/09/2025: Summer bar on the beach. Loungers and tapas are available.
Relax and unwind with your feet (almost) in the water.

12/04/2026: Nothing against Subway servers, incredibly strict about portion sizes. I ordered grated cheese with a scoop for ice cream and ended up paying €15 for a stingy sandwich.

06/12/2025: Well located for my conference at the medical school, but the room faced the noisy boulevard, so the night wasn't very restful; breakfast was adequate.
06/12/2025: A very poor experience, to put it mildly.
I booked a night at the Ibis La Timone Marseille hotel by phone due to a hospital appointment the following day.
Early in the morning, I was woken by an unbearable noise inside the hotel. Elevator renovations—not mentioned when I made my reservation—forced me to climb four flights of stairs several times, despite having a limited leg. The workers gave me mocking looks and were unable to utter a kind word or even free up the elevator—not even for a minute—to make it easier for an elderly woman to use it.
Beyond this extremely unpleasant situation, here are the services offered by the Ibis Timone Marseille hotel:
> A ridiculously small room, overheated and with no way to regulate the temperature.
> An outdated bathroom with a flimsy bar of soap stuck to the shower wall.
> No kettle, no toiletries of any kind, nothing, not even a notepad.
Hotel Timone Marseille, a three-star hotel...???
It goes without saying that for such low-quality services and at the price paid, the value for money is simply unacceptable.
I understand the enthusiasm of many travelers for Airbnb-style accommodations, which are of far superior quality and much cheaper, and which, moreover, welcome you with a smile and those little touches that make all the difference.
In short, I absolutely do not recommend the Ibis Marseille Timone hotel, a hotel that in no way corresponds to a 3-star hotel as advertised on the front door.

The owner is incredibly unpleasant and unfriendly... "Come on, hurry up or I'll leave!" when taking your order. He only serves a portion of what's on the menu, not an apology, not a kind word... you just have to rush and choose something else. What a disgrace!
The best thing to do in this situation is to change careers!
