But my last order was particularly excellent, delicious, flavorful, just the way you like it… These days, it's quite an achievement to maintain quality, quantity, and reasonable prices. 06/04/2026: The waiter was great, but unfortunately, they only opened because the weather was nice, even though absolutely nothing was up to scratch. Everything was dilapidated, nothing was cleaned, and half the ingredients on the menu were missing. It's such a shame for a brasserie by the sea; damn, it could be incredible! A real shame.

14/04/2026: The spring rolls were excellent, fresh, and light (not stuffed with salad, which was great). The Bo Bun was very generous. The young waiter was very polite and attentive. I only caught a glimpse of the cook; I didn't get a chance to speak to him, but from a distance, I got a big smile from him... The food was fantastic, flavorful, and light.

19/03/2026: The food was quite good, but not as flavorful as we had expected. Our host was very welcoming and readily available. Perhaps we should try the cooked dishes, as the fried appetizers and other items weren't necessarily to our liking. A mixed experience, but the welcome was excellent.

11/04/2026: I just tried three infused rums: ginger, bois bandé, and I don't even remember the others. Sorry, but there was no flavor, just rum (and not very good rum at that). I don't like to rate places like this, but you can't offer an infused rum like that. Plus, I had the unpleasant feeling of bothering the owner with my impressions, even though the atmosphere around me was quite good and relaxed thanks to the guys there with her. Again, sorry, but the infused rum isn't good. You need to think about changing the ingredients (ginger, for example) and macerating everything for at least four months. This is still a positive review from a knowledgeable rum enthusiast who doesn't mean you any harm 😉

29/03/2026: Racist staff, not all Asians are Chinese, educate yourselves a little: We were simply taking a photo in this rather beautiful setting when a staff member loudly said, "Watch out, there are Chinese people taking our picture!" Please respect the customers, even if they are Asian.

28/03/2026: Very busy this March… the restaurant was full, the bar was efficient with drinks for hikers in a hurry or who had just arrived. With two terraces, good coffee, and credit card payments accepted, I recommend it for a delicious stop or a refreshing break.

11/04/2026: The rooms are in a terrible state; the walls are damp and crumbling, the doors and windows don't even close properly, and the shelves wobble. I'm in room 38, and there are holes in the bathroom floor; the door doesn't even close correctly, and the electrical outlets... there clearly aren't enough. I really don't understand the good reviews for this hotel.

05/04/2026: The staff were very welcoming and friendly... excellent communication. The room was clean but small, as was the bathroom. Be careful with the shower mixer tap, though; it's installed upside down (hot and cold water are reversed). The bin hadn't been emptied before we checked into the room. Perhaps a chair near the table would be a good addition. A folding bed is available, but I don't see where it could be placed in the room. I would still recommend this establishment, which is very quiet and close to the center. Suitable for a short stay. However, the breakfast is plentiful and has everything you could want.

22/02/2026: Ugh, disgusting, bland, tasteless, stale food... Expensive for what it is... So-so music, so-so service... Seriously, there are better places... Avoid at all costs... 😱😨

30/01/2026: Amazing music. But the non-alcoholic drinks were terrible (first time there were ants, second time undrinkable). The clientele is mostly 40-50 year old. Far too many pushy men who don't understand "no".

19/12/2025: Excellent service! The attendant was very welcoming and attentive. We ordered mussels and chicken escalope with a delicious pepper sauce. Our food arrived very quickly, and the service was very friendly 😊 We will definitely be back!

19/01/2026: I booked a table for eight at La Velada two weeks in advance for a birthday celebration. We ordered food and cocktails for almost €400, and at 11:30 PM, just as the party was starting to get going, they kicked us out of the table to make room for another group! This is unacceptable! The least they could do is warn us in advance that the table could be given away at any moment, because we were left out in the cold before the party had even started! Avoid this place, especially for a birthday! What's more, they didn't hesitate to film us during the evening and put it on their social media, even though we were kicked out afterward!

08/01/2026: First time at La Velada for my friends and me. A very pleasant surprise, especially the wood-fired pizza which was excellent. A superb atmosphere in this lively restaurant – we'll be back very soon!
