A very pleasant surprise! We ate there twice within a week, even though we weren't in Marseille.
The food is delicious.
The staff is lovely.

27/08/2026: Good meal, lovely dining room, but the service needs improvement. The waitress's clothes were dirty at the start of her shift, and her hair was loose. She placed a bottle on the table with a hair stuck to it. We had to open it and pour ourselves.
She held out her hand for us to return the menus instead of taking them from the table. And to top it all off, the entrance door was covered in fingerprints. The hygiene is lacking and reflects poorly on the establishment.

12/07/2026: I ate at La Pignatta on Friday. The person serving and taking the payment was very friendly. I personally ordered a pizza. I can't say it wasn't good, but it wasn't exceptional either. The crust wasn't cooked enough in my opinion and lacked structure, and the tomato sauce was a bit acidic, but the toppings were lovely!
I'll order the pasta next time because the website says it's homemade, although I didn't see that mentioned on the menu.

Everything comes together so that your plate is no longer just an assembly of ingredients, but a true bouquet of flavors. A cuisine with character, an authentic chef, attentive service…in short, a delightful interlude.

31/07/2026: On July 23rd, a burnt and greasy burger, fries that tasted of rancid oil, and a blackened salad. Having suffered from indigestion after their food for a long time, I've now crossed the line into outright food poisoning. Avoid at all costs!
16/07/2026: Exceptional from start to finish! Come without hesitation; Philippe and his team will take care of the rest for your complete enjoyment.

07/09/2026: I came last Monday, August 31st, around 2 PM. The welcome wasn't friendly; the girl at the counter seemed fed up with serving me, I didn't hear a hello, and I was practically scolded when I was choosing my bread. Plus, you were busy chatting. In short, I won't be back.
