13/12/2025: Delicious! On a family holiday from Brittany, we decided to order the octopus, and honestly, it was a delight. A marvel, cooked to perfection, tender, with a delicious side dish. We thoroughly enjoyed it. One person had room for the baba au rhum, and frankly, it was fantastic and you could tell it was homemade. Highly recommended!

27/11/2025: In the port of Carro, the nautical decor of this restaurant created a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We naturally had fish for dinner. The dishes were presented simply, but they were absolutely delicious. Depending on the season, reservations are recommended.

21/11/2025: We arrived an hour before closing time to satisfy a sudden craving for shellfish. We were greeted warmly, though somewhat surprised. It was a good experience; the shellfish were very tasty and fresh. The only thing I could have improved is if I'd arrived earlier to enjoy it a bit longer (note that we weren't in any hurry at all; we were the ones who rushed so as not to disturb anyone). I'll be back, either to eat in or take away.

28/09/2025: What can I say about this restaurant where you feel at home in a family atmosphere, whether it's the boss's or the staff's side. Coming to Marseille and not stopping by the L'ecailler canteen is like visiting Paris and not going to the Eiffel Tower or Notre Dame. The products are ultra fresh, the atmosphere very warm and friendly. I recommend this little restaurant to seafood lovers, you won't be disappointed.

08/12/2024: Family meal this afternoon. Very good meal, friendly and professional service. Copious plates and menu adapted for children (no children's menu but several possible options). Unbeatable value for money! Book and let yourself be tempted...

17/12/2024: 2024: still just as good a very fine tasting coffee log. Not heavy. the rolled cake deserves to be neutral, like a rolled cake, it must be a joconde biscuit, the almonds cut the taste of coffee a little. It’s very personal, I think it’s a shame, but it’s still very good. 2020Christmas log with coffee mousseline butter cream: a delight, lightness and above all incredible finesse! Never eaten such a good log... you can really smell the coffee which is dosed just right, excellent! I'll have to go back and order another one soon to test the Grand THANKS

17/12/2024: Top-notch pastry, choice, taste, varieties of cakes and other pleasures. On the other hand, disappointed 😞 by the breakfast options, expensive and very very long service. I will return for the pastry

24/06/2025: Coming from Liège on holiday to Marseille, we wanted to find a little corner of Belgium. With this real Belgian chip shop, we ate the best fries in a long time! Accompanied by a killer American fillet. Very warm welcome from the owners. We will return during our next holiday in Marseille, that's for sure!!

28/11/2024: A crowded and ultra-sounding room.... A real station hall!!!! This is untenable! Very expensive but good pizzas... However, be careful with the extremely salty Némo with smoked salmon “called gravelax”!!!! You have to sort the small pieces so as not to spoil the taste of the rest of the pizza. The cheese pizza is delicious.

21/09/2024: This restaurant was an unexpected delight - booked at the last moment on the premise of an interesting menu and the prospect of genuine French cuisine as opposed to a tourist trap. We got there early, at 7.15 and we're glad to have reserved since And the food and service lived up to the promise - super friendly staff, such fresh ingredients and generous portions! Had the burratina tart to start which was served on a tasty cake-like bed of bread. Followed by an amazing cod dish with a really flavoursome putanesca (tomato based) sauce. Very reasonably priced and a very relaxed atmosphere - like we were in a comfortable living room that happened to be a restaurant. Will definitely visit again when in Aix-en-Provence!

21/09/2024: Very nice hidden restaurant with a very good menu. The service is outstanding. Unfortunately, sitting outside isn't that nice. The boss speaks English very well. Our dessert was outstanding. Overall, a very successful evening
