11/04/2026: A very good restaurant! We received a very warm welcome and were served by a friendly waitress, and we enjoyed our meal. We ordered two specialty pizzas (burrata and stracciatella), which were wood-fired and delicious. The dessert (panna cotta) was also delicious. Very reasonably priced! A great place to eat!

14/04/2026: I used to have lunch there on Sundays in the 1960s. After Mass, with my grandparents who lived on Rue Mal. Fayolle. I'd have a pizza, then a veal Milanese with fries. And of course, ice cream for dessert...

07/04/2026: A small restaurant we stumbled upon in November 2025, run by a couple and their daughters who help out. It's a shame they were out of mussels in the evening, as we had come specifically for them... But we tried the bull stew (gardiane de taureau) instead: a real treat! The customers were chatting amicably, and there were many regulars who came back every year. A lovely little restaurant. We'll be back this summer with our children to try the fish specialty that some customers had raved about... but this time we'll make a reservation to be sure of getting mussels, or we'll come for lunch. 03/03/2026: Excellent sandwiches and salads, varied and full of flavor, often with Asian influences like the delicious Thai wrap. The desserts are also highly recommended; the cookie is amazing. And the staff is fantastic. I highly recommend it!

06/05/2026: You'd expect a great beer selection with a name like that! Well, no! For example, the only beer you can get is 1664 at €5 for 25cl 🙃 And a martini? €8! There's absolutely no service. Customers have to walk from the terrace all the way inside to order and pick up their food, they even clear their own tables, and the glasses are just cheap plastic cups… We're giving it 3 stars for the food because the pizzas were good! We'll definitely be giving it another go, or maybe we'll bring a picnic next time.

30/04/2026: ‼️AVOID AT ALL COSTS - Unacceptable Security Violence / DANGER ‼️ I absolutely do not recommend this place. On April 29, 2026, around 11:30 PM, I witnessed an act of unspeakable cruelty. A security guard (tall, bald) brutally beat a 50-year-old customer who was simply sitting in the smoking area, for no apparent reason. Four to six punches to the face, a broken chair, the man left on the floor half-conscious. No one intervened, no one showed any courage. This is a place that shows contempt for humanity and the dignity of its citizens. Imagine if it were you, your partner, or your children! No one is safe from this gratuitous violence perpetrated by those who are supposed to protect us. Please, stop supporting this establishment. A place where security guards turn into brutal aggressors is not worth your money or your visit. It's a disgrace to France and to Europe. I have filed an official complaint.

11/03/2026: It was our first time here (my son invited me for my birthday) and we were delighted to discover your restaurant. The buffet isn't huge (which is just as well) so that the food is fresh and prepared daily, but it's well-stocked enough to enjoy trying the different dishes. The plates are regularly replenished so you don't feel like there's a shortage or a lack of choice. The portions are modest, allowing you to order different things or go back for seconds. The food was simple and good. The dishes are classic; for something more original, you'll need to check out the magazine buffet or the desserts. One small suggestion for improvement (but this is very personal): I would have liked a second choice of vegetables (in addition to the zucchini gratin, which was very good), but my son was thrilled that there were several starch options (the mashed potatoes were delicious, by the way!). The dessert buffet was fantastic for those of us with a sweet tooth: cakes, fresh fruit salad, biscuits for coffee, creams... Everything is designed to make ending the meal a truly enjoyable experience. I highly recommend this establishment for a simple, tasty, and generous meal!

18/04/2026: We came to eat at Quai des Pirates this April. The welcome was friendly. The service was excellent. The food was very good 👌🏻. The seafood was a delight, very fresh and beautifully presented. We had a very good time and recommend the establishment. Thank you for this lovely experience.

15/04/2026: I'm going to tell you what I think of this restaurant: the owner is unfriendly and very unpleasant, plus you don't eat fresh food, the fries are frozen, the mussels are really not fresh at all, and on top of that, very expensive for very dry mussels. I strongly advise against going to this restaurant.

14/04/2026: The meat fondues were very small and the broth lacked flavor! Considering the price, I definitely don't recommend it... However, the cheese fondues looked delicious, which is a shame.

12/04/2026: The fondue was good, but the quantity was disappointing. We asked for a little extra to finish our bread, but it was added to our bill. This isn't the first time; the portion sizes need to be reviewed. Thank you.

19/04/2026: We celebrated the 18th birthday of a friend's son there. The parents had rented a room. Everything was wonderful. I highly recommend it.
