17/05/2026: Our first experience at Les Trois Forts restaurant, and certainly not our last! We discovered the tasting menu with wine pairings, a wonderful gift we received for our wedding anniversary. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel at ease with their simplicity and professionalism. Each dish was explained to us with passion, taking their time and never rushing or pressuring us, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The meal was excellent from start to finish, refined and full of delightful discoveries. A lovely, discreet touch awaited us at the end of the meal for our wedding anniversary… exactly what we love! And what can we say about that magical view of Marseille… we never tire of it. A truly wonderful restaurant that we wholeheartedly recommend. See you soon!

The service was delightful from beginning to end, with discreet and particularly appreciated attention to detail, especially for a birthday celebration, which made the moment even more special. Thank you! The dishes are expertly prepared, refined, and a pleasure to eat, with meticulous cuisine that beautifully showcases the ingredients. The view of the port of Marseille is simply magnificent and fully contributes to the charm of the place. Another real plus in Marseille: the option to park directly in the Sofitel's underground parking garage. This is extremely convenient and makes it easy to come, even just to enjoy a meal without the hassle of parking. We highly recommend it and will gladly return.

03/03/2026: Too lazy to cook when we got home at 9:00 PM, we were initially planning on getting takeout, but in the end, we sat down to eat in. I had one chicken curry with eggplant, which was delicious; my daughter had one chicken massaman, which was also delicious; and Luca had one beef red curry, which was a third delicious meal... I highly recommend this little restaurant, it's very good. And everything was served with a smile. We'll definitely be back! My son didn't know where to eat last night with his friend, so guess where he went? L'ExpressThaï! 👍👍

23/05/2026: We clearly came to the wrong place. What's offered here is the complete opposite of what we like, but tastes are subjective: minimalist furniture and tableware, string, burlap, and pottery… it's a deliberate choice. However, certain fundamentals should remain non-negotiable in a Michelin-starred restaurant. It was impossible to park properly, there was no welcome upon arrival, and we had to stand in an extremely noisy room before finally being served. Once seated, we found a tiny table, very uncomfortable chairs, and a rather disappointing view despite the pond, with factories and an industrial park in the foreground. We were finishing a week spent in several Michelin-starred establishments such as Hôtel & Spa du Castellet, Le Mas des Herbes Blanches, and Le Phébus & Spa, which offered truly spectacular views. Here, the comparison is unfortunately difficult to maintain. Thirty minutes to get a glass of wine as an aperitif, two wines unavailable, and very confusing service where the "sommelier" also served the food while we refilled our own wine. Again, surprising for this category of establishment. Only one unisex restroom with a wait, unheard of for us in this price range. On the plate, a lot of concept and minimalism: raw veal and four very, very thin slices of steamed potato. You can sense the effort and passion, but in trying too hard to deconstruct traditional gastronomy, the experience ultimately lacks warmth, comfort, and simply enjoyment. The website, as minimalist as the food, gives no hint of this very radical philosophy. A shame, because despite the obvious audacity of the cuisine, we left more tired than impressed. Just so you know, our favorite restaurants are Bernard Loiseau in Saulieu, Le Taillevent, Louis XIII, and Guy Savoie in Paris, as well as the gardens of the Hôtel de Russie in Rome. Be warned, this is a wide range of tastes, so be prepared—I certainly wasn't.

13/06/2026: A very pleasant time spent at Le Miroir restaurant on the terrace. Bottarga, fish soup, tuna tartare...delicious, well done to the chef! Friendly service.

12/06/2026: Overall (there were eight of us), the food was good, but it was close to fine dining considering the price/quantity ratio. It was quite expensive. And like many places, the service was a bit slow.

07/06/2026: A very pleasant surprise on the culinary front. Beautiful and excellent dishes. We opted for the "discovery" menu, and from appetizer to dessert, it was a feast for both the eyes and the palate. The service could have been better, on par with the excellence of the cuisine; it was a bit too casual for my taste, lacking in precision. But in any case, a fine dining experience at this price (€45 per menu) in such a superb setting is unbeatable. Bravo.
