18/01/2026: First time at this restaurant, and very disappointed… The staff was unfriendly. I ordered shrimp spring rolls and received shrimp fritters instead, a misunderstanding due to the accent of the woman who served me, which was difficult to understand. I specifically ordered two medium portions of fried rice, ten chicken spring rolls, nougat, an apple fritter, a chicken spring roll, and five shrimp fritters. The total came to €40.30, quite expensive for what I ordered… Looking at their price list, which is displayed in the restaurant, there was an eight-euro difference. I went there to point out an error in the price I paid, and the owner's daughter "calculated" it and told me she'd made a mistake of a few cents in my favor… This could all have been resolved if they had given me the receipt as I requested… My final feeling is that I was ripped off, so be sure to ask for your detailed receipt!

19/08/2025: The whole street smelled amazing, and I had to stop and order a pizza. It's definitely one of the best I've ever had. It's a shame it's so far from home, but when I return to France, we'll definitely be back. They made communication easy, they treated me wonderfully, and on top of that, the food was incredible. 10/10.

01/03/2026: It's always nice to spend an evening at the Blackstone. The themed nights are fun (blind tests, karaoke). The live music could be a bit louder for my taste. The clientele is always pleasant. The service is good, but the €10 minimum credit card charge is a real pain. The outdoor area is spacious and very well laid out. All in all, a very good pub. Three stars because of this credit card issue, which doesn't exist in any other pub I frequent.

14/12/2024: The old port of Marseille seen from the heights, this city is fascinating because I have the impression of having two worlds. Leaving the train station you have large cities with lots of people and popular neighborhoods until you reach the old port. Once you are there, it is a rather chic and bling bling world, everything is made for tourism and you are amazed Take the time to sit on a bench and contemplate the sky, the sea... escape....

22/02/2026: We came to eat on the evening of February 14th. When I made my reservation on the phone, I mentioned there would be a birthday celebration. I was informed that there wasn't a special birthday package, but that during dessert, I could light a candle and play a song. I said, "Okay, perfect..." Then they told me they'd make it available, but I'd have to discreetly remind them on the day. Of course, that's what I did, but unfortunately, nothing happened... What a disappointment!

20/02/2026: Friendly, smiling, and very professional staff. The pizza is always excellent, with a top-notch pizza chef. The daily special offers a choice of meat or fish at a very attractive price, and the quality of the dishes on the menu and daily specials is high. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and I'm really looking forward to warmer weather so we can enjoy lunch on the terrace. I highly recommend this establishment.

16/11/2025: We usually have our company dinner at Ida's about twice a year, and we always have a fantastic evening. The food and service are excellent. The dance and karaoke night is expertly hosted by Pierre, who immediately puts everyone at ease. We leave around 2 a.m. each time with a little pang of sadness and the desire to return very soon to see the incredibly welcoming owners again. Thank you, Pierre, Ida, and your team.
