I don’t want to place a bad review on insta or google because you’re just started. But I want to help and give some advise. The service was top and helpfull. Food; croque monsieur; cheese not totally melted and way too much for appitizer , bread with tomato no taste at all. The tamatos nor dressing. Meat cold, rare and sent back to the kitchen. Same piece back on table,better cooked but average quality . Drinks; 4 of the 5 request wines were not available. No problem but hand over the menu with the wines you do have. Hope these tip helps you and god bless.

23/05/2026: I eat at this restaurant once a month because of the quality of its meat and the grill. This Thursday evening I went for the paella and what a surprise, absolutely delicious! Apparently, they have themed Thursday evenings. I'll definitely be back.

29/07/2026: Beautiful table, impeccable service, succulent dishes, wine, cheese, and dessert worthy of a fine dining establishment... Special mention to the waiters, the sea bream and lobster spring rolls, the excellent cheese platter, and the rum baba... Highly recommended... Bravo!

18/06/2026: To follow up on Christophe's comment, I was also passing through Aix and, having just had surgery, needed to use the restroom. I had a drink yesterday, and I've never encountered anything like this before. I wanted to pay, but I only had my bank card. The waiter forced me to withdraw cash because I didn't have any, claiming that any amount under €10 wouldn't be accepted! And that it was the law. Tough luck for him, I studied law! He didn't give up, and I, very angry about this unfair situation where they were clearly pushing customers to spend more, left. He chased me, threatening me and using people around him who didn't understand the situation at all. Seeing that I wasn't going to back down because I was completely within my rights, he finally accepted the €4. I got yelled at, "Dirty Bordeaux girl, go back there!" SHAMEFUL! I was there for a holiday! AVOID this place if you don't have cash. They're right next to the cathedral, what a disgrace!!!!!

21/05/2026: Lovely quirky restaurant, interesting ancient farm equipment etc around the walls, and an old curved-tiled roof over the bar and wood-burning oven where delicious-looking pizzas are cooked. I had an enormous beautifully cooked duck breast with smoked duck slices and a slab of foie gras, with salad and a pot of gorgeous potatoes. My dining companion had cigaline, which I had never heard of but will certainly look out for in future; it's a beautiful tender cut of pork, absolutely delicious. I think they have some tables outside.

28/02/2026: It had been years since I'd been back, what a joy! The freshness, the exquisite taste of quality products, plus, for a foodie like me, a delectable homemade dessert—I won't wait years to return! And the service from the owner was so kind and elegant. 😉😉😉

04/02/2026: This is my second time having lunch at this restaurant and I'm still just as impressed! A simple menu and quality dishes served quickly! The servers are discreet and helpful! It's just as pleasant to eat inside as outside. I will definitely come back again. February 3, 2026: We returned for lunch with colleagues. There were seven of us and we were served very quickly! All the dishes were very good and always offered excellent value for money. We will be back again!

18/07/2026: We originally went for a drink, but the menu looked so tempting that we decided to have lunch! And it was a fantastic experience! The staff were amazing, especially the lady who greeted us, who was incredibly kind and welcoming! And the food was delicious and plentiful! We'll definitely be back! 28/07/2026: Very disappointed with the staff who weren't very welcoming, and on top of that, they took our glasses away before we'd even finished! Perhaps they should ask before clearing the table?

28/07/2026: The waitresses were not very welcoming: upon arrival, they barely greeted us; then, while we were ordering, the waitress stopped to chat with her colleagues; and finally, they took away our glasses without asking our permission...

30/07/2026: I apologize in advance, but I'm forced to give this review one star. Google Maps says it opens at 11:30 AM, but when I arrived and waited until 12:00 PM, the restaurant was still closed. I called repeatedly and received no answer. Please provide accurate opening hours to avoid inconvenience to customers who have traveled all this way. Thank you.

28/05/2026: We ordered four dishes for two to try a little bit of everything, and we were shocked… everything was DELICIOUS!! The soups were incredibly flavorful. The pad thai were generous and very good. Even the coconut rice on the side was great. Authentic Thai flavors (or Indonesian for the mie goreng) at more than affordable prices. We were served super fast and the welcome was excellent. We'll definitely be back.

10/07/2026: Went there with my mother and everything was great. Since it's quite a turística style restaurant I got to say I was worried but from appetizer to the desert I was amazed. Amazing fried shrimp with a lemon flavored mayo, le fondant de pork with the mash potatoes are a must and to close it all the profiterole made with so much care even I that do not appreciate chocolate as much just loved it. Oh yea the Moscow mule is also worth noting. Overall great. Just small note to the employee who are so nice and dynamic (almost no waiting time even at rush hour). Please get rid of the pigeon that keeps walking around our feet! Otherwise, perfection. Thank you for you service and food!

23/07/2026: Honestly, an excellent discovery! We've tried more than three restaurants for fresh mussels but were always disappointed. We stumbled upon this restaurant and frankly, it was excellent from start to finish. The servers were impeccable and the food was a delight. I highly recommend it!

23/07/2026: We ate here in July 2026. The waiter was very stressed and we felt like we were just intruding. I had scallops with rice and potatoes. The taste was okay, but for €23.50, the portion was simply far too small! The photo shows six tiny scallops (about the size of a fingertip) and the rest 🙁. When we pointed this out, he just smiled and said it was over. I can't recommend it.

30/04/2026: Such a beautiful stay at Villa Gallici. Roses are everywhere. I would love to shout out to Michel for his kindness that really made my days even more beautiful. You’re amazing! This hotel is definitely 10 stars<3
