13/09/2026: The food was truly excellent: delicious, perfectly cooked vegetables, we thoroughly enjoyed it. No complaints there. However, the atmosphere was a huge disappointment. The manager made comments because we hadn't ordered any appetizers or wine in addition to our aperitif. We shouldn't feel obligated to order an appetizer, main course, and dessert to receive a warm welcome. It's a shame, because the quality of the food deserved a more pleasant experience.

13/09/2026: It's a shame the friendliness seems to depend on the dishes ordered, not to mention the comments made loudly as we were leaving. I held back, and I regret not responding to her directly. The owner is clever; she offers starters that aren't on the menu, without even knowing the prices, and the same goes for the aperitifs. Is that really acceptable?

21/05/2026: We had a wonderful time at Chez Marinette, a truly delightful and welcoming haven in the heart of Marseille ✨ From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with smiles and warmth, in an atmosphere that was elegant, authentic, and full of life. You can feel the love of sharing and generous cuisine in every detail. As for the food… a true feast for the eyes and the palate from beginning to end. The rib-eye steak was a marvel: perfectly cooked, tender, and flavorful. Others opted for the octopus, deliciously prepared, or the duck breast, which was absolutely melt-in-your-mouth tender and bursting with flavor. From appetizer to dessert, everything was as beautiful as it was delicious. Dishes crafted with care, refined flavors, and a presentation that makes you want to savor every moment. We were also deeply touched by the thoughtful touch with the dessert for our daughter's birthday, a simple yet heartfelt gesture that made the moment even more special ✨ We also had the pleasure of chatting with the owners, passionate and approachable people, with whom the conversation was as pleasant as it was genuine… even leading us to talk about Michael Jackson, an unexpected and delightful exchange that adds to the spirit of the place. A bright and welcoming spot where you feel right at home, thanks to generous cuisine and a wonderful atmosphere. An experience we wholeheartedly recommend 🌞🍷✨ We would gladly return. ✨😍😘

18/08/2026: A fantastic discovery! The Angus beef skewer and the octopus duo were excellent! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal! The service was quick and the staff very friendly.

16/08/2026: Distressing behaviour from server completely ruined our night. ​I would much rather leave a good review, and I genuinely sympathise with how stressful working in hospitality can be, but this meal was an absolute disaster and completely ruined our night. ​We ordered two bottles of wine and the starters were actually delicious. After that, everything went downhill fast. ​We both went for the 45 euro set menu and picked the same main. Even though we asked for separate plates, they brought out what was clearly just one single portion for the two of us to share: one skewer with six miniature pieces of beef, two tiny carrots, and a quarter of a potato. For that price, it was a joke. I brought it up with the waiter, but he basically just shrugged it off with a quick sorry and did nothing about it. They also completely forgot the cheese course until we had to ask for it. ​The biggest issue, however, was the behaviour from the lady serving. To be fair, she was perfectly pleasant whenever she came to our table. It was like she put on a mask the second she stepped outside. What she clearly did not realise was that everyone on the terrace could see and hear everything happening inside. She was screaming at her coworker, throwing menus at him, and kicked a bar stool across the floor. We could hear her crying from our seats outside, and when I came out of the toilet, she was visibly weeping by the till. It was awful to see someone in that state, but having that level of volatile conflict happening right in front of diners and families with young children sitting at adjacent tables was totally unacceptable. ​Her behaviour created such a tense, uncomfortable atmosphere that it completely killed our evening. We ended up paying the bill, leaving our wine on the table, ditching dessert, and heading to a nearby bar just to get away from it all. Good starter, but an utterly dreadful experience.

17/10/2026: A very pleasant restaurant, right on the sand. The pizzas are excellent and the waiters are friendly and attentive. I recommend it.

12/09/2026: A wonderful discovery, completely by chance, on the port of L'Estaque! 😍 A very pleasant place, with a warm, family-run, and truly friendly welcome. We obviously didn't try everything, but everything we did order was excellent, and the products were high quality. Special mention for the homemade fries, made with real, hand-cut potatoes: it really makes all the difference! 👌🍟 And even the syrup surprised me: I chose the cherry one… wow! 🍒😄 A simple, authentic, and generous place, in a beautiful setting on the port. A great find that I highly recommend!

04/10/2026: We were very disappointed with our group outing (8 people). While the atmosphere and music were good, the €50 per person meal was a real rip-off. The portions were ridiculously small: a measly quarter of a carrot, a quarter of a zucchini, and two small potatoes were all we got as vegetables. For that price, the service and side dishes should be much better. We do not recommend it.

30/09/2026: A fantastic evening! Talented musicians and singers, a decent meal, and a great atmosphere in a local setting. Everything you could want from such an evening.

19/10/2026: Solid main courses, but disappointing dessert. The crème brûlée was already sold out early in the evening. The fig tartlet and apple mille-feuille were dry and seemed to be from the previous day. The fondant d'agneau, the house specialty, couldn't be included in the menu. We would only return for lunch to have it as the plat du jour.

09/10/2026: Perfect in every way, fresh produce, economical, homemade – in short, excellent value for money! Highly recommended.

25/07/2026: We spontaneously decided to visit this restaurant. The food was good. I ordered a large pizza, but I was initially shocked when I only received one slice. However, they kept bringing me more slices. I've never experienced anything like it, and I had the slight feeling I was being watched so they could bring me the next slice in time. The pizza was delicious, though. We ate outside, but the interior looked very inviting.

25/07/2026: Excellent restaurant. Lunch on the terrace was very pleasant, with a delicious daily special.

23/10/2026: A delightful surprise. We stumbled upon it by chance. The food was delicious, freshly made from scratch! We thoroughly enjoyed it! Well done.

06/08/2026: Avoid at all costs!! They try to give everyone a job in a village, but this is ridiculous!! 52 minutes for two pizzas, disgusting and expensive. They told me 25/30 minutes. Okay, I didn't order, I waited. The man who ordered after me got his pizza in fifteen minutes. A table of four arrived, served before me, 52 minutes later, the pizzas arrived. With the courtesy of a prison guard. Anchovy pizza: I looked for the anchovies. Second pizza: meh. €24.50. I'll go to a restaurant next time. Never again. I don't have anything to teach anyone, but a smile doesn't cost anything…

12/07/2026: I've had the pleasure of having lunch and dinner there several times. I highly recommend it because the food is homemade, the hamburgers have a unique touch with their super soft buns, and the pizzas are delicious. The portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable. I received a warm welcome in a wonderful atmosphere. The desserts are made fresh on-site... Don't hesitate!

25/08/2026: Matisse provided a very warm welcome and impeccable service. He took care of us from beginning to end, without a hitch, always smiling, and offering excellent advice on the daily specials. I highly recommend this establishment; make sure you get seated in Matisse's line to ensure you receive great service!

19/08/2026: The manager, who was incredibly friendly, agreed to show the PSG match and then the Lyon match two days later. The food was excellent, both the main course and the dessert, and the welcome was very warm. I will definitely return on my next trip to Marseille.

Free parking available across the street and nearby. Fast service and delivery also available. Halal food available.

25/05/2026: The best churros and panisse. I come all the way from the Ardèche region, and I stop here whenever I can. This weekend, between the Corsu Mezu Mezu concert and ending up with the churros and panisse, it was the best.
