23/04/2024: Living in Velaux, I was looking for a place to have a surprise birthday for my wife. Well, I was not disappointed! Jérôme explained to me what he could do... and he did exactly what I was told, even better 😁. I can't list everything because there were so many things, but from the bruschetta to the burger and lots of platters, each as succulent as the next, everything was great! And above all, everything was fresh and cooked almost directly. Special mention also to Jérôme's daughter for her kindness and sense of welcome. In short, if you also want to celebrate something in a very friendly atmosphere, don't hesitate! Christian

29/08/2024: What a great and delicious experience! We first visited Xavier at Xa in 1990, then again in 1994 on our honeymoon. We were already fascinated by this beautiful restaurant with a retro look, the personal welcome from Xavier and the cooking skills of his wife Martine. Over 30 years later we visited the Xa again on the occasion of our 30th wedding anniversary on a trip to Provence. Unfortunately we learned that Xavier had passed away. However, the restaurant has remained unchanged and Martine is still conjuring up her very tasty menus in the kitchen! We were warmly welcomed and served by Melanie, Xavier and Martine's daughter. A wonderful, unforgettable evening, with excellent food and wine, in the middle of St-Rémy, with many memories. Merci Martine and Melanie, we'll be back!

23/08/2024: Ein schönes Wiedersehen mit einem Restaurant, das einen ganz besonderen Zauber verbreitet. Martines Kreationen sind einfach und köstlich - und manche Highlights sind seit bald vierzig Jahren auf der Karte und schmecken noch genauso gut! Wo gibt es das noch. Wir freuen uns auf das nächste Mal.

28/08/2024: Very friendly place and pleasant service however the cuisine lacks refinements. I find it quite expensive considering the dish I ate.

18/08/2024: It was a fabulous time that we spent in the Patio restaurant (small restaurant in a small street parallel to Cours Mirabeau), the warm welcome and very professional advice. The decor is original and gives the impression of being in a very cozy village square. The cuisine is delicious and generous (thanks for the doggy bags). We enjoyed chatting with the manager and his partner, who were very kind. I will just repeat one word: GO FOR IT! GO FOR IT! GO FOR IT! we know where we will go to eat next time we are in Aix-en-Provence

19/08/2024: C’est une grande salle comme un hall de gare, les tables y sont éparpillées ici et là. Au fur et à mesure que la salle se remplit, le niveau sonore suit de façon exponentielle. Service rapide. Les mets sont corrects sans plus. Les glaces sont quelconques. C’est pas mauvais, mais ce n’est pas super non plus.

21/07/2024: Sans aucune surprise, comme les autres clients nous avons passé un excellent moment. Le cadre est bucolique Les serveurs professionnels Les plats sont inventifs produits frais. Et excellent dessert, même si j'ai trouvé qu'il aurait pu être mieux mis en valeur dans une autre vaisselle. Étonnamment un commerçant de Senas nous l'avait fortement déconseillé. Nous avons vraiment bien fait de vouloir nous en rendre compte par nous même. Encore merci pour cet agréable moment.

06/09/2024: Passing through the area, our choice stopped at this little restaurant, nice surprise! I highly recommend if of course you like good Vietnamese cuisine, Phô is a treat. Fresh and tasty cuisine. Pleasant service, small establishment but efficient and authentic.

04/09/2024: Top+++, cocktails, tapas, welcome. TOkay. 1 place always open and friendly and good big bowls of family tapas with great cocktails. Small aioli, fried soups, beef meatballs... squid, cold meats.... I tasted everything. I recommend+++.f Big aperitif dinner. 3 days that I squat in the evenings, outdoor terrace, indoor bar, upstairs terrace. Tested everything or almost: I recommend!!!!

22/07/2024: LA valeur sure de notre liste de restaurants, ça fait 8 ans que je connais le Julien et la qualité du service et des plats n a jamais changé : au top. Les ris de veau sont toujours excellents , le magret…l’onglet…les desserts. Le tout accompagné de bons vins. À bientôt sûrement!

For our last evening at La Ciotat, reservation of a table in the morning for the evening meal. No reservation when we arrived, very light apologies, it's a real shame. 07/03/2024: Judging by the comments we must have had a bad day Arrived at 11:45 a.m. served at 12:15 p.m. even though there were no customers We ordered menus with fries, there were none left, we settled on potato pancakes, drinks the same, we ordered coke, there were none left. Burger so-called truffle mayonnaise I guess there was no more because I'm still looking for the taste of truffle 3 tons of salad to add volume The poor cook who asks by phone for goods to be brought to work For dessert I had a pana cota that was taken out of the freezer at the end of the meal, great we eat the dessert 1 hour later while it thaws One thing is for sure they won't see me anymore
