Finally, a restaurant that doesn't rely on fancy decor or trendy trends, but on the raw, authentic quality of its cuisine. The couscous is extraordinary – it's a real couscous, flavorful and generously garnished. Every bite speaks to the authenticity of Berber cuisine: the flavors are there, precise, complex, without any pretense. It's cuisine that speaks for itself. And the service is impeccable. Attentive, warm, discreet when needed, and always there when you need it. It perfectly complements the experience. In Marseille, where North African cuisine abounds, it's rare to find such an honest and delicious place. Le Véritable Couscous Berbère truly lives up to its name. I highly recommend it! The family atmosphere is truly delightful. We chose pizzas! Knowing that we're in a very touristy town, right on the port, quality is hard to come by! I highly recommend Le Bistrot de Cassis, and I'll let you discover the breathtaking view of the port and Cap Canaille! 🫶

25/07/2026: Excellent atmosphere, a very warm welcome from Laetitia and Henri, a pizzeria that's still going strong! Oh yes, I almost forgot the most important thing: the pizzas are truly excellent, cooked to order in a wood-fired oven, the ingredients are delicious, and the menu can be customized to suit your preferences.

10/09/2026: Friendly service that takes care of you throughout the meal. Thanks to John for that. The portions are very generous, sometimes with too much white sauce. The setting is really nice, right in the center of Aix. With the 50% discount from TheFork, the prices are quite reasonable.

27/12/2025: The pizzas were very good, extra tasty, and the waiter was friendly. The only downside was the unbearable heat, which spoiled our enjoyment! As for the desserts, I was assured they were homemade, but I have my doubts about the chocolate fondant (which was very good)! But overall, it was good.

29/06/2026: A breath of fresh Tunisian air near St. Charles train station and the Zenitude hotel in Marseille, with delicious fricassees, lemon skirt cakes, and all the pastries you'd expect to find in Marseille. The staff is friendly and helpful, and you can enjoy the terrace overlooking the large square in front.
