The service was pleasant, the waitress attentive and always smiling, every request was handled with care, and customer satisfaction was their top priority! We also ordered delivery, and finally, a restaurant that gives a precise delivery time, not just an estimate or something close enough, and as early as possible. Don't hesitate!

25/02/2026: Until now, I'd never been disappointed: the pizzas were always tasty and generously topped. But this time, I'm really disappointed. The pizza arrived cold, very thin, and with very little topping. The cheese had hardened, and I couldn't even finish it. It's a shame. We won't be ordering delivery again.

The welcome is warm, the atmosphere is typically Provençal, and the shaded terrace invites you to relax. The homemade ice cream is a delight, and the attentive service adds to the experience. A wonderful place to savor a peaceful moment just a stone's throw from the hills of Pagnol. We'll gladly return!

24/06/2025: Like every year, we came to the village of Allauch to spend the evening of the Fête de la Musique and explore the night market. We spent the evening at the Salon Provencal... the charcuterie board and panisse on offer were excellent... the staff is always very welcoming and the atmosphere is fantastic. Thank you!

12/04/2026: We ordered mussels; they were good, but I can't give them 5/5 because they weren't cleaned: the shells were full of barnacles, which isn't very pleasant when you like to scrub the mussels in the sauce before sucking them up. In fact, some of the shells were empty. However, the Roquefort cream sauce was very good.

21/01/2026: Visited on Saturday, January 17, 2026 It's about time the manager of this store woke up! Four employees for the entire store during the sales period, all four at the registers, so no one in the aisles to help us, and on top of all that, the four self-checkout machines weren't working.

03/05/2026: Nice place and very welcoming owner, but after my experience, I'd say even too welcoming. The armchair was dirty and the outside of my glass wasn't clean. The restaurant was empty around 7:15 pm, but the staff wasn't exactly rushing. We were a bit pressed for time and asked for the shared appetizer and main courses to be brought out at the same time, but no one listened to us, and the same thing happened when we asked for a second carafe of water. The shared appetizer was an indescribable mix of small pieces of seafood, fried and refried! The hamburger from the children's menu, ordered rare, arrived 1 cm thick and completely dry. The fries were cooked and recooked; this must be standard practice at the restaurant. The stuffed vegetables, advertised as a Provençal specialty, were a dry stuffing on an indefinable vegetable skin with sautéed potatoes—a disgrace to this otherwise delicious dish. The red mullet fillet was poorly thawed and undercooked, tasteless, impossible to separate the flesh from the skin, and served with a very greasy side dish. The tuna tartare was equally disappointing. The waitress had long, chest-length hair that wasn't even tied back and kept brushing against the plates and the rims of the full glasses as she placed them on the table. As for the price, it's far too high for the quality and preparation of the dishes. The portions are generous, but that's pointless if the plates are returned half full. A very bad experience: we're not tourists, we certainly won't be returning to be ripped off, and we will advise our friends against this place.

23/04/2026: The ice cream is delicious, however, the cashier and the one who served me were unpleasant. For the same cone as my sister, I only got half the amount of ice cream because I had the misfortune of being served by the unpleasant woman 🤦‍♀️

22/04/2026: A terrible experience. The ice cream shop advertised closing time as 11:00 PM. We arrived at 11:02 PM, the ice cream was still on display, they were just starting to pack up… so clearly still open. We went in, and were immediately told coldly that they were closed. I explained that my girlfriend is pregnant and simply wanted an ice cream—we weren't asking for the moon, just a little basic courtesy. The result? They turned their backs on us without a word, as if we didn't exist. Zero customer service, zero respect, a contemptuous attitude. If you can't treat customers properly, find another line of work.

23/01/2025: J'ai commandé ici plusieurs fois sur deliveroo et j'etais plutot satisfait des commandes. Aujourd'hui je modifie mon avis pour ne laisser qu'une etoile, J'ai commandé ce midi (22/02/2023). Je n'ai jamais été aussi malade et pourtant j'ai plutot resistant d'habitude. Je pense qu'on a tenté de m'empoisonner. Je ne recommanderai plus jamais c'est une honte.

12/01/2025: Great homemade burgers. Very friendly staff who were able to serve us quickly to avoid us being late for a show. Very family-friendly place where it is better to come very early or book.

26/04/2026: We came to this restaurant for dinner on the recommendation of regulars. The welcome was warm, with attentive staff, and the dining room was beautifully decorated to evoke the spirit of North Africa. Orders were taken and served promptly. The four of us each ordered couscous, two lamb dishes, one merguez sausage meatball, and the last dish, the "royal" (a type of couscous). Two of us had the classic durum wheat semolina, while the other two had barley semolina. Personally, I didn't find the barley semolina to have a superior taste to the durum wheat, especially considering the price difference of €5 per person. Ultimately, it's a matter of personal taste. But the dishes were flavorful, well-presented, and generously portioned. The atmosphere was pleasant, ideal for a meal with family, friends, or even as a couple. Overall, the value for money is good, with a total of €173 for the four couscous dishes, four aperitifs, four desserts, and a half-bottle of the excellent Boulaouanne rosé. The owner even offered us a small glass of digestif to round off this pleasant experience.

20/04/2026: The best barley couscous I've ever eaten, a true Kabyle specialty. And with a restaurant that has over 100 years of history, you can't go wrong. I ate there for the first time with my wife in March 2023 and have been back several times with friends and family. I plan to return for the couscous festival in Marseille – the atmosphere is fantastic! Thank you, Moustapha, for your kindness.
