23/02/2026: We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance and have absolutely no regrets... the setting is magnificent from the outside to the inside, with its chic bistro feel. The walls are adorned with black and white photos of actors and actresses who have graced the silver screen. A huge fireplace stands in the very center of the room. The cuisine is refined; if I remember correctly, the butternut squash velouté with parmesan and truffle shavings was a delight ❤️ and the mushroom and truffle vol-au-vent with pollock on a bed of crushed potatoes was delicious. We didn't have dessert this time as we were in a hurry, but we'll be back. Finally, the service was warm and truly attentive. In short... go for it!

30/01/2026: Excellent experience this lunchtime. A straightforward dish, but what a dish! Chef Joan, in addition to being very friendly, is a true master of his craft: a truly exceptional chicken with Vin Jaune and morels. A delicious Mont Blanc to finish. My only regret was being in a hurry. And a special mention to the very friendly young staff who also served us. I can't wait to come back in the evening to enjoy the fireplace. Well done and thank you.

19/02/2026: Excellent place for a friendly atmosphere, the pizzas are always great. I've been a customer for many years; it's a must-visit in Marseille. It's best to reserve a table as it's often full. I highly recommend it.

28/02/2026: We call to make a reservation, as if we're bothering them; we can be fully booked even on a Saturday night and still answer politely – basic courtesy!

31/10/2025: 14 Oct 25- the first and best Marseillaise dinner we had. Chef and her colleague were the greatest hosts. We walked in at opening time and were sat in their restaurant with their full attention. They spoke English and were super friendly. Better yet, chef served an absolutely amazing 2-course menu. We ordered the best profiteroles in France ala carte and if we hadn't been too full, we would have gotten a second.

06/02/2026: We wanted to have lunch at this restaurant because Google indicated it was open until 10:30 PM. The chef agreed to serve us even though we arrived around 2:30 PM, but every time we ordered a dish, something was always missing. He was only interested in making his profit and refused to make any concessions. It's a shame; he lost two potential customers. We only had a drink while waiting for our meal, which we had to cancel because he wouldn't serve the dishes on the menu. Special mention goes to the bar staff and the waiter, who were lovely and apologized on behalf of the chef. The chef didn't even come to speak to us.

The cuisine is a true ode to the Mediterranean, precise and inventive. It's the perfect place for a special occasion. The service is impeccable and the setting is simply magical. A must-visit if you're in Cassis and seeking gastronomic excellence.

26/02/2026: A lovely restaurant, charming inside with very pleasant service. The appetizers are quite good, whether it's the gyoza or the karaage chicken pieces; the sushi is also very decent, the fish wasn't bad, but the rice lacked firmness, and the shrimp sushi fell apart on its own, which is a shame. The chicken tariaki was also very good. It's nice to have tasting menus like this, especially since there are several different ones. It might be a little pricey for what it is, but it's a very nice restaurant, a safe bet.
