25/08/2025: The best frogs in Dombes! (and I've been to restaurants in Dombes...) Followed by a perfectly mastered Bresse poultry with cream (accompanied by real Vonassien crepes). And even the red fruit Pavlova (also homemade) was perfect. Faultless. Only good products perfectly cooked. It's becoming rare!... All served by the charming owner. Run there!!!

12/09/2024: We came for lunch. Very simple and warm welcome. Impeccable service. We were on the terrace. Extra. We chose the formulas of the day: soup, Bavarian tomatoes, 1/2 cockerel rösti salad, chocolate pear tiramisu with a Château Lamothe Mandrone 2020 then espressos. Excellent cuisine. Tasty, tasty. There is work. This excellent table is worth trying. No pretense here. Everything is authentic. We will come back. We highly recommend this beautiful establishment.

06/09/2024: Bar-brasserie which has managed to preserve all the authenticity of the place, the Café de la Poste and it's really nice to take a step back in time. The dishes are of excellent quality with a desire for homemade, fresh local produce. Special mention for cooking the duck breasts. Thank you for this good moment of sharing during an unplanned stop, keep it up.

31/07/2024: Nous avons souvent en France dans les "Arrières Pays" des lieux d'exception. Notre Pépite se situent au cœur des Vosges du Nord : le "Biergarten" en été et sa grande sœur le "Grès du marché" en hiver. Un endroit rêvé pour passer un moment romantique à 2, avec sa petite famille ou entre vrais amis.. accueillit chaleureusement par Estelle et Frédéric et leurs chers Enfants. On s'y sent magnifiquement bien. L'instant d'un repas est une ambiance de vacances mais aussi de déconnection totale où chaque détail est minutieusement pensé. 16/09/2024: Nice place for a dinner with a view of the port. The service is impeccable, the staff are smiling (even in the middle of August with a crowded restaurant) and we had a great time. The dishes are prepared with fresh, quality ingredients. Don't forget the aperitif cocktail which adds something positive to the experience.

15/09/2024: Super nice! Top ceviche, very beautiful and very good foil mold!!! Only one small problem: no Saumur on the menu 😉

05/09/2024: Super restaurant, accueille avec le sourire, mets savoureux et faits maison. Avec cette sensation de déguster les bons petits plats faits maison. Le crumble pomme framboise que j’ai mangé avait la saveur de celui qui sort de mon four, un vrai bonheur. Merci pour ce bon repas

21/07/2024: Restaurant ,enfin si on peut appeler ça un restaurant,plus que basique!choix très limité,aucune suggestion ,aucun légume juste un minimun de salade avec l'andouillette (gigantesque!) frites .Appétit délicat fuyez!et pour finir mauvais café! seul point positf la gentillesse des serveuses .

30/10/2025: Apparently, it's forbidden to walk past peacefully without being whistled at or stared at by the customers. I walk past almost every day, and it's very rare to be left alone. Once, a dog peed right in front (more than 10 meters away), and the owner threw a glass of water at the woman. Some way to welcome people! :/

22/08/2024: Decent rooms which need to be modernized but recent change of owners who are keen to satisfy the customer. Very quiet and charming garden. Disappointment for us with dinner and PD meals, the quality of the food is not there, nor is it “homemade”
