04/04/2026: We had lunch at Drugstore today and were really disappointed. The plate of pasta with clams was very small, the pasta was overcooked, the garlic was practically raw, and there were hardly any clams (between 8 and 10)... all for €20! We only ordered one dish. Very disappointing value for money! It's a shame, because the place (the interior) looked very nice.

19/04/2026: This is a serious restaurant with an excellent chef /owner and with his wife as manager. But…not at serious prices. Very creative presentation with quality fresh ingredients. Excellent service, numerous well trained staff. Wine list offering a very diverse range of wines and fairly priced. Forget the coastal views and dine here- you won’t be disappointed!

30/03/2026: The welcome was perfect, the seafood platter was delicious, and nothing was missing (plenty of bread and napkins). We felt very comfortable there and will definitely be back this summer to eat on the terrace.

Success guaranteed at Comptoir Saoufé, where the manager, with her gift of gab, enhanced the moment with a flavorful and mineral wine to accompany my spider crab soup, my assortment of shellfish, and my Charentaise galette with angelica from the Marais Poitevin 😉... Thank you to the team at Comptoir Saoufé for their passion for regional and quality products... a real treat!

30/03/2026: The world of cabaret is a new discovery for my daughter, my mother, and me. This afternoon we had a truly magical experience. A fabulous show with fantastic performers, taking us from laughter to tears. The staging was incredible, with the artists using the entire theater and upstairs, and there were plenty of surprises. The meal was delicious. All the staff were so kind and attentive. Thank you! 🍹 P.S.: Don't change a thing! 😉

26/03/2026: A very pleasant place, both in terms of the dining room and decor. The cuisine is refined and elegant. The ingredients are exceptionally fresh, and the broth served as a starter was delicious. The dry-aged beef was excellent. The service was friendly and attentive. A special mention for the diamond shortbread with coffee – a delightful discovery.

10/04/2026: Here, it's not the view that people come to judge, but the food! The food is excellent, and, quite rare especially in a touristy spot like Oléron, the fries are fresh! The cooking is perfectly executed, the dishes are cooked to perfection, and the portions are generous! You won't see the sea from your seat, but it's not far away! I recommend booking a table on the terrace, which is sheltered from the wind and well laid out, so you'll have plenty of space (a welcome change from the sardine-like atmosphere of other seaside restaurants). A must-try for a romantic meal, a family outing, or a get-together with friends!

18/04/2026: Nice place, and the French-Japanese fusion is well done. Ideally located, but it wasn't a personal favorite. The starters were a bit limited, and the menu didn't really appeal to me. The waitress was friendly, but the atmosphere outside wasn't very welcoming. It's surely more pleasant inside ☺️
