La déco de la salle n’était pas vraiment à mon goût et nécessiterai selon moi un petit rafraîchissement. En été sur la terrasse cela doit être moins tristounet et plus agréable. Je reviendrai la tester!

Quantity perhaps a little tight for Westerners but the quality and taste are there. The little Fujiyama of taste buds in La Rochelle. The boss-chef doesn't care about the customers at all: a Professional, very pleasant indeed. The only downside is that the service is a little too long, but this is explained by the fact that the owner, alone, prepares fresh and tasty products for you and not dishes prepared in advance and that the lady is the only one to serve. . In any case, I will return there because the waiting time is rewarded by the qualitative content of your plate. Score: 17.33/20. And the prices are particularly fair for the high quality offered. Allow around €30 per person for a complete taste treat sending you straight to the land of the rising Sun.

10/09/2024: We were welcomed by the owner of the cafe, an English lady, which was a total surprise. As we hadn’t had lunch we decided to order a cheese ham and egg galettes which was simple but tasted fabulous, then we went on to have the special crepe, apple, cinnamon, caramel sauce and crème brûlée ice-cream. Good selection of drinks hot, cold and milkshakes. Selection of flavoured ice creams. Service was quick and good value for money

26/08/2024: Accueil très agréable aussi bien par le jeune homme que la jeune fille. Dimanche 25 août 2024 repas du midi très bon, desserts : glaces et moelleux chocolat, délicieux. Le seul reproche c'est le temps d'attente, mais bon il faut savoir apprécier....

24/08/2024: This little restaurant deserves to be known! We had dinner there with 3 people last night, after booking by phone. We enjoyed a very good cocktail as an aperitif, then the “discovery” menus at 29 euros (starter+main course+dessert). The dishes are well presented, delicious and, a very, very big positive point to point out because it is rare, all the dishes arrive on very hot plates, which allows you to enjoy quietly without having to rush. The room is small and cozy for a calm tasting. The welcome and service are very pleasant, smiling and friendly. Excellent value for money. In short, a very nice evening to be repeated as soon as possible.

10/09/2024: Exceptional restaurant with convivial ambiance. Service was brilliant; the young man and young lady describing the courses eloquently and with appropriate know-how. We opted for the crevette raviolis that were in a very tasty sauce enhanced by an exceptional house champagne. Fresh from the morning catch were sea bass, not on the menu, but seductively mentioned by the staff. One word- superb! Our dessert, for two, was delicious, fig tart with blackberry ice cream. In summary a very special restaurant, with great staff, fabulous food and atmosphere to match with all tables filled!

10/09/2024: Excellent restaurant, cuisine raffinée, plats bien présentés, le vin de l'ile " le résistant " est idéal pour accompagner le poisson, une équipe bienveillante, bref nous recommandons vivement cet établissement !!!
