11/07/2026: What a pleasure it is to return to Restaurant L’Ecume every year! We never tire of this refined cuisine, where every ingredient is perfectly prepared! The restaurant offers a 3-course market menu for €28, unbeatable for such high-quality food. Moreover, the welcome is always perfect, and the staff will always go out of their way to pamper you 🤩 I highly recommend it if you're passing through St-Trojan, and it's even worth a detour if you're simply on the island ☺️

23/09/2026: Better than a restaurant meal, a true culinary experience! The setting is magnificent, and the storefront gives no hint of its true charm. The service was impeccable. And the dishes... how can I describe them... semi-gastronomic! Everything was perfect! I recommend this place a thousand times over!!

18/09/2026: For us, this is the best place in the area! During our two-week vacation, we ate here three times – and a visit was also a must for us the year before. The food is delicious, and the value for money is unbeatable, both for the lunch menu and in the evening. The exceptional service deserves special mention: extremely friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. The waiters know the food and wines inside and out and offer advice with genuine passion. We look forward to coming back every year. A truly heartfelt recommendation!

18/09/2026: Here, rice noodles are strangely categorized as an appetizer 🧐 A small bowl costs €12, and a large bowl costs €16 to barely constitute a meal. The picture shows an untouched large bowl of rice noodles; it's very thin without bean sprouts or other vegetables, and €16 a bowl is too expensive! Although it was delicious, I wasn't full at all because it only had noodles and beef. I felt incredibly empty afterward… (I'm a girl 🙃) I had to order other things, but none of them were cheap…

09/09/2026: A wonderful discovery! We loved the warm welcome and, above all, the quality of the food. From the pho to the sliced ​​beef, including the homemade spring rolls and steamed dumplings, everything was truly delicious and bursting with flavor. And the Vietnamese coffee to finish the meal was perfect! We're delighted to have discovered this place and will definitely be returning.

28/09/2026: One of the island's must-visit restaurants. A small dining room with only 26 covers, so reservations are highly recommended (don't hesitate to use the waiting list on Zenchef). In a beautifully decorated setting, a team of passionate chefs welcomes you with a menu featuring 100% fish (except for desserts). The menu is thoroughly explained, detailing both the ingredients (locally caught) and their preparation. And speaking of preparation, you can sense this team's enormous desire to explore, experiment, and surprise. Prepare yourself for a delightful culinary journey. If I were to offer a single comment (a suggestion would be presumptuous coming from a novice like myself), it would be that sophistication is pleasing, but sometimes simplicity pays off too.

15/08/2026: We came as a group of four after booking a table for our last day of vacation on the Île d'Oléron. The menu was simple but had something to please everyone. The dishes were very generous and high quality, and the young waitress served us very well. We started with a platter as an appetizer, followed by two excellent and generously topped burgers, a Burrata salad with delicious ingredients, chicken tinder, and a cordon bleu. We had a truly wonderful meal, especially considering it was our first time dining at your restaurant. We'll definitely be back for our next vacation and highly recommend this great place.
