16/09/2024: Very nice and nicely decorated creperie. We were able to have lunch despite the late hour and a very full room. Our 2 savory crepes, a real delight, made with very good ingredients will leave us with pleasant memories of our stay in St Denis d'Oléron. Place not to be missed and we recommend it 100%.

01/10/2024: We were actually booked in to another restaurant just around the corner, but I’m so grateful that we cancelled that due to the rude dismissive staff there and found A Cote de Chez Fred. What a lovely find! The waitress couldn’t have been more welcoming and we were shown to a great table. The food and atmosphere were lovely and as a birthday treat for our Mum’s 80th it was perfect. Nothing was too much trouble and we would definitely recommend this hidden gem to others.

11/09/2024: The welcome in this charming restaurant was very pleasant. The service is pleasant, our hostesses took great care, the presentation of the dishes is perfect. We enjoyed tasty and fragrant cuisine. The duck foie gras breaded with gingerbread is excellent. We loved the can fillet and its crispy mushrooms. The beet mousseline that comes with it is so tasty, I’m still drooling. We finished with the two desserts on the menu. The crème brûlée is deliciously soft, the crunchy hazelnuts are perfect and the pumpkin sorbet brings a very pleasant note of tangy freshness to the mouth. The cheesecake and its poached pear are a great success. The wines offered by the glass are perfect. We will return to this charming and delicious place. Thank you and don't change anything.
