29/05/2026: A must-visit in Saint-Pierre-d'Oléron! What a treat! At Medo, everything is homemade using fresh ingredients prepared on-site, and you can taste the difference: the flavors are exceptional, and the quality is impeccable. Special mention goes to the team, who are simply lovely and incredibly attentive. You immediately feel welcome, and the thoughtful service makes the experience even more enjoyable. The wine list is simply incredible, with wonderful discoveries to perfectly complement each dish. A truly unmissable spot in Oléron, which I recommend without hesitation. We'll definitely be back!

02/06/2026: I never imagined that in faraway France I could be so lucky to enjoy a full combo of authentic Vietnamese food like this. All the dishes were truly authentic: - Spring rolls with peanut sauce and bean paste dip - Beef pho with sweet and chili sauce, and basil fish - Yangzhou fried rice with egg, carrots, peas, sausage, and soy sauce - Steamed rice rolls with sweet fish sauce, fried onions, cilantro, and cucumber - Banana sweet soup with tapioca pearls - Iced coffee with milk (made using a Vietnamese filter) - Saigon beer with shrimp crackers This restaurant is absolutely amazing! If you ever visit La Rochelle, please stop by and support them!

02/06/2026: Negative: A small refrigerator is missing from the room, and the bathroom door needs improvement in terms of privacy (you can hear everything). Positive: The staff is lovely, especially Benjamin, who is fantastic. The breakfast is incredible. The hotel's location is perfect. The pool is a huge bonus. We will be back very soon.

31/05/2026: A very nice hotel in an ideal location, with pleasant staff, excellent amenities, and a quiet setting away from the main city streets. We spent the Pentecost weekend there and the stay was very pleasant. The breakfast was very generous. We're deducting one star, however, for two reasons: - The orange juice wasn't fresh, and the pancakes, waffles, and crepes weren't homemade, which is a real shame for a hotel of this standard and with a restaurant. - The parking is not free, which is also a shame compared to others like the Novotel, which offers free parking. Otherwise, it would be perfect. The Nuxe products are a real bonus. The Privilege room includes bathrobes and complimentary minibar drinks, and Nespresso coffee with refills upon request. The poolside terrace is beautifully furnished and very pleasant. The pool area is perhaps a little small, but very nice nonetheless. We didn't try the restaurant. We'll be back, hoping for homemade products 😊

06/05/2026: My father and I came for the first time on Monday at lunchtime. Everything was really great: the welcome, the dining room. We had a very good lunch: seared sausages with split pea purée and red berry crumble. It was really lovely. We'll be back.

08/06/2026: The dishes were a little different from other restaurants in La Rochelle, and that's a good thing! It was delicious... and the service was very pleasant. And the chocolate mousse (photo)... a real treat.

03/06/2026: After reading the various reviews, we decided to treat ourselves and eat at this restaurant. The welcome was warm and friendly. However, we were all disappointed by the value for money. We ordered different dishes, and considering the prices, nothing was particularly impressive: an undercooked chicken leg, rather small portions, and a very basic burger. Nothing exceptional, in short, which is a real shame.
