21/05/2026: A wonderful discovery! The oysters were a delight, bursting with ocean freshness. The mussels en papillote made us want to come back... The place is simple and friendly, the kind of place we'd love to find instead of fast food... We wish them a great season; they deserve it, and this place is well worth the detour.

My friend and I came for pizza to enjoy our last evening in Pontaillac, and we don't regret our choice of pizzeria at all! 18/08/2026: A fantastic find! We ate at this restaurant which offers kebabs, pizzas, tacos, and more. It was truly excellent. The kebab meat was superb, bursting with flavor—nothing like the spit-roasted kebabs you find everywhere. The pizzas were generous. The welcome and service were very pleasant. The prices are reasonable. If I could suggest one improvement, it would be to offer a different sauce for the burgers.

24/09/2026: The atmosphere at the bar is very friendly, and the staff, especially Christophe and Kerwin, are very competent with customers. There's also a good atmosphere in the dining room with Antoine, Paul, and Tom, the new guy.

23/09/2026: Always the same very friendly welcome and top-quality food. Well done! Two years later, February 22nd: Ordered 4 aperitifs. Upon arrival at our table, 2 were properly placed, but the other two had landed on the table, resulting in a flood. They were replaced, of course, in the same glasses. The person whose sweater got hit by the aperitif wasn't even offered coffee. 👎 Average. Visit August 2026: Minor issue with a dish reported. Thank you for your responsiveness and your gesture. Staff always very attentive.

25/10/2026: Excellent fish and chips! Le Merluchon offers quick and tasty fish and chips. The fish is fresh, cooked perfectly, and served promptly. The price-quality ratio is very good. Ideal for a delicious, no-fuss snack after or during a day at the beach. I highly recommend it.

Very good value for money in a very pleasant setting. Worth trying. Tip: book for lunch and then visit the Cordeliers Royal right next door! 😃

20/08/2026: A great spot on the way to the beach. Fresh ingredients are prepared on-site. The kitchen is open to the dining area. There's a pergola on the terrace during the season.
