15/04/2026: No regrets at all! We had a fantastic lunch, there were four of us, and we ordered the set menu. Honestly, the quality, price, and service were top-notch! The meal, accompanied by Korean liquor, was a real discovery 💡 I highly recommend it!

All of this was pointed out to the person in charge of service, who didn't even acknowledge it or try to rectify the situation. It seemed like all they cared about was the cash register...
25/07/2026: It's July 25th, I had just finished work, and I told my wife we were going to eat in downtown La Rochelle. I was very hungry, and I left feeling unsatisfied. There wasn't enough on my plate, it wasn't great at all. You should change your menu or improve it; this is the case with many restaurants in La Rochelle. More fries 🍟, not just a small portion, it's stingy. Sorry to tell you, the amount I paid for the bill was too high compared to what we ate.

30/06/2026: Nice little restaurant with an ocean view, decent food, the flank steak was excellent and tender. The scallop tartare with its small scoop of lemon-basil ice cream was a truly surprising and delightful experience. Friendly staff.
27/06/2026: Despite the pleasant service, the salads were tasteless and not properly washed. A big disappointment.

Cockroaches were found alive in the restaurant while waiting to be served. The cleanliness of the premises in general is a major problem.
05/07/2026: It's not bad. Located near the Vieljeux high school, it's a good option if you run out of Brussels sprouts in the cafeteria. It's still fast food, though, so it's not premium quality. Anyway, it does the job.

19/06/2026: We're always warmly welcomed, whether we've booked or not. For a €15 set menu, you can sometimes eat worse elsewhere. The menu changes frequently, there's no à la carte menu! But the food is good. I encourage you to go there...
24/04/2026: I arrived at the bar for the first time. The welcome was a bit cold. I ordered a coffee, which wasn't very good; it was spilled all over my cup, not even an apology (it happens). And to top it all off, a woman at the counter was smoking a cigarette, which was perfectly normal.

26/07/2026: We stopped for a quick drink, and we were met by a visibly disgruntled waiter who seemed to be wasting his time serving us. No hello, no goodbye... However, the bill was immediately placed on the table.
We had read excellent reviews and were planning to return for a meal. But given the reception, that won't be happening.
Keep this up if your goal is to drive customers away; you're well on your way.
14/07/2026: Excellent mussels marinara and fries with a nice glass of white wine for €15.50, delicious homemade tart, friendly and smiling staff.

But come on, how can you propose rooms without air conditioning, when it is literally +40 outside? That's disrespectful to your guests.
Install air conditioning, or block the rooms for booking, when the temperature outside is 30+...

09/06/2026: The staff were lovely and extremely helpful.
The rooms are clean and well laid out.
However, the walls are paper-thin!
The room was adjoining another room separated only by an uninsulated door, so daylight streamed in underneath, and the room was cleaned very early… whether you were in the adjoining room or not.
The noise level in the common areas inevitably affected the rooms from 7:30 am onwards…

03/06/2026: We spent two nights and three days there and left feeling incredibly relaxed. The welcome was very friendly and courteous, the atmosphere was calm and very restful, our room was spacious and clean with a view of the phoenixes in the large garden and the pool, the beds were very comfortable, we really enjoyed the jacuzzi, the thalassotherapy treatments were excellent, and the restaurant was great too. Go for it, you won't be disappointed! 💣💯

24/06/2026: Frankly disappointed with the pizzas I recently ordered. I'll let you guess which one is in the photo... wrong! It's not eggplant/goat cheese, but the one called "salmon." We looked everywhere, but we never found any salmon.
Another recurring issue in other reviews, which I also experienced with the "gourmet" pizza, was the completely raw crust in the center. I know what I'm about to say won't bother you, but you've just lost a customer.

The basic beer is €6.80—a rip-off.
The pizza was mediocre...
I strongly advise against going there.
