We settled in there for a coffee and to enjoy some time together as a family. Beyond the coffee itself, it was the pleasure of being together, chatting quietly, and taking the time to savor the moment that made this experience so enjoyable. The setting is perfect for a short break during the day, whether after a walk through the streets of La Rochelle or simply to unwind for a few moments. 24/10/2026: A wonderful café where you can have a drink or a meal. Head to the back for a quieter spot. Christian's service is fantastic, always friendly and funny! My only complaints are the price increase and the state of the restrooms (something's been out of order for over 10 years...). Apart from that, it's a lovely place where you're always guaranteed a good time!

27/07/2026: To call oneself French and serve Italian food?! And, above all, to be turned away by the owner because we hadn't made a reservation... There are ways of speaking! It's a shame, we're locals... Luckily, the competition is much more welcoming.

20/09/2026: We've been to this restaurant several times. Never disappointed. Just one complaint: the cold appetizers are placed too close to the edge, and people keep putting their sleeves in them when they serve themselves 😩 (though, to be fair, these customers aren't paying attention...).

12/06/2026: Well located. Attentive staff. The rooms are clean, pleasant, and spacious. A few minor repairs to some of the electrical outlets would be helpful, but it's not a major issue.

08/06/2026: Hotel near Lyon Part-Dieu train station. The rooms are spacious but lack decoration. There are no pictures on the walls. The bathroom is also small and very basic. However, the common areas and the breakfast room are much more well-maintained. The breakfast itself is varied, including a selection of Lyonnais specialties. I recommend this hotel; the staff is welcoming.

13/10/2026: Great little place right by the sea, the atmosphere is cozy. The sweet and savory snacks are very good, especially the French toast. The waiter was very friendly.

05/09/2026: The manager's cooking is very good, but he's increasingly delegating to his colleague who has absolutely no idea how to make pizzas, and unfortunately, the quality is declining. He should hire someone competent and, above all, experienced in the field. It's a shame, I think.

18/08/2026: Honestly, try any of the other pizzerias in Saintes; they'll be much better. La Boîte à Pizza, for example, has affordable and better pizzas. Le Plateau d'Auguste is also very good, and their buffet pizza is great if you're still hungry, and the prices are reasonable. The owner is nice, but I think he would have been better at bricklaying than running a restaurant. He's about as good at his job as I am, to avoid spelling mistakes (I've never been good at it). I'm not trying to put him down, but it's a place to avoid.
