02/09/2026: We had dinner at this place we discovered...we had a very pleasant evening and the food met our expectations...tarte flambée...sea salad...typical Alsatian dishes...everything was a delight

12/06/2026: We spent a weekend there as a couple. What a shame! There was no kettle or coffee maker in the room... No slippers for the spa or tea corner. We didn't like being seated next to other people in the restaurant, even though there are several dining rooms... it lacked a cozy atmosphere. The meal wasn't exceptional, even though there were four courses for the price we paid. Outside, there was no space by the pool; all the lounge chairs were occupied by towels, but no one was sitting there! To top it all off, we were charged for drinks we didn't order... What a shame for such a beautiful establishment! We don't recommend this hotel...

10/06/2026: What a place to turn 40. 🎂 We spent three nights at Hostellerie des Châteaux on half-board for my birthday and left genuinely happy. The location on the Alsace Wine Route, at the foot of the Vosges, is beautiful, and the property's 2,500m² spa with its pools and saunas gives you plenty of reasons not to leave. The restaurant is the star. ⭐ Each dinner opened with an amuse-bouche, the courses built with real intention, and on our final evening the kitchen surprised us with an unprompted foie gras pâté and a full cheese course. The sommelier deserves his own mention: deep knowledge of Alsace wines, recommendations tailored to our table across all three evenings, and the single biggest reason the dinners will stay with us. 🍷 Breakfast matched the standard: a fresh juicing station, egg station, proper pastries and well-chosen local cheeses. The half-board is worth it. We also slept very well. Some honest improvement notes for this lovely family-run property to take it to 5 stars: - the rooms haven't kept pace with the public areas and the website imagery (and the artificial grass roof, not really nice to look at from the window.. why? 😄) - the pool was way too crowded and the website image shows much less recliner seats when the area was rather cramped at times especially on the weekend. - tea/coffee facilities and individual toiletries in the rooms would lift the experience (they only have a body wash in the shower - an opportunity to improve) - menus in English/German and dietary alternatives (vegetarians etc) would serve the international guests better - the pool bar closing at 18:00 on a warm summer evening, feels way too early but I saw the staff had to rush to the lobby bar (perhaps hire more?) - strength training options would complete the gym which currently has cardio only. - tvs didn’t have any working English channels and the ability to cast to the TV wasn’t properly advertised, perhaps add a proper TV smart guide? None of this took away from a wonderful stay and a birthday to remember. Thank you to the whole team, and especially the restaurant and bar team. 03/09/2026: I had a delicious tarte flambée for lunch. The sweet one with pear was very tasty :) Dogs are allowed on the terrace.

28/08/2026: A great restaurant that makes its own bacon for its tarte flambée. Excellent service with a courteous owner, a smiling waitress, and reasonable prices! Besides their tarte flambée, their other dishes are also very good! In Wissembourg, it's my favorite restaurant! I go there regularly.

18/05/2026: We were so lucky to celebrate our wedding in this idyllic setting! From the brilliant organization of the entire event by Anne and her team, to the execution on the day itself, everything was perfect! Our guests had a wonderful time, and the decorations (springlike during our visit) were magical! The greenery, the decor, the lighting, even the ambiance of the rooms—everything is there to ensure you have a truly wonderful experience! Thank you again for the warm welcome and flawless support!

08/05/2026: A huge thank you to Anne and her entire team. We had an unforgettable wedding in a magical setting. Anne guided us through every step of the preparations. On the big day, we had a wonderful evening, thanks to Chef Guillaume for the meal, and the following day we finished with a magnificent brunch. Not to mention the beautiful rooms where we stayed. In short, everything was perfect.

28/08/2026: We were able to celebrate Mom's 80th birthday in an exceptional setting. Mr. Clauss and his team took excellent care of us. The meal was delicious, with a vegan menu. Thank you 😊

25/01/2026: We ate at Le Sauloch for the first time this past Saturday evening and we'll definitely be back! We were served quickly by two very friendly waiters, and the food was delicious and beautifully presented! The setting is lovely, all wood with a large fireplace in the center, and the decor is very tasteful! There's an outdoor terrace where it must be lovely to eat in the summer. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

02/08/2026: What a magnificent venue! We celebrated our wedding there, and the day was splendid, thanks to this enchanting setting. The small reception room was perfect for our guests, and the lovely grounds outside added a touch of magic to the afternoon. We sincerely thank Guillaume and Laurence for their warm welcome to their superb property, which is perfect for events like ours. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a venue with unforgettable charm.

22/07/2026: As a wedding photographer, I had the pleasure of discovering La Ferme de Marie-Hélène in April with my couple F&S. The setting is peaceful, and the guest rooms are tastefully and elegantly decorated. The reception hall is perfect for an intimate celebration. An ideal venue for a celebration in the Alsatian countryside, yet close to the city.

05/07/2026: Lovely little country inn, serving mainly Alsacian specialties, at a former farm house. Their tartes flambées are second to none, and even their house wine, served in €3 pitchers, first rate. As the weather was perfect, we sat outside on the deck in the courtyard, surrounded by friendly locals. Never have we spent so little for so much enjoyment...

30/08/2026: An excellent meal shared with my family. The chef was fantastic! The cordon bleu with Munster cheese was delicious and generously portioned, as were all the other dishes. The waiters and waitresses were all very friendly. The owner was incredibly kind to her customers. We'll be back soon!

18/08/2026: It was really great for us Parisians; experiencing a new culinary culture was a truly exceptional experience. They have reasonably priced menus for children, which is fantastic! Yair, our server, was amazing! In short, go there, you won't be disappointed.

12/08/2026: A must-visit in the heart of Strasbourg. We had a delightful time; everything was absolutely perfect from the appetizer to the dessert. The food is generous and flavorful. Special mention goes to the potato gratin, which was wonderfully creamy. The salmon was also perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to eat well. We will definitely be back.
