From the moment you step into the garden, you're immersed in a sophisticated world, with vibrant colors and rich details. The warm welcome from the passionate Frédéric and his team is as wonderful as the setting itself. The madeleines, cakes, and teas are delicious and tell beautiful stories. A timeless experience to rediscover each season!

28/08/2026: We've visited this restaurant twice, and each time the experience has been absolutely remarkable. The food is consistently excellent, flavorful, and refined. The dishes are prepared with great care, the flavors are perfectly balanced, and the quality of the ingredients is evident in every bite. A true delight for the taste buds! Special mention must also go to the service, which is simply impeccable. The welcome is warm, the staff attentive, professional, discreet, and exceptionally considerate. The level of service is worthy of an excellent gourmet restaurant, with genuine attention paid to the customers and the smallest details. The atmosphere is pleasant, the setting elegant, and everything is in place for a truly wonderful experience. I am very satisfied with both of our visits and highly recommend this restaurant. We will gladly return, knowing we will have a fantastic time. A place to discover and, above all, to remember!

27/07/2026: Run away! The veal escalope was terrible. Thin and tough slice, barely cooked cream, canned mushrooms: extremely disappointing. The shared Flammekueche as a starter was also mediocre, and the small plate of crudités cost €11 and was poorly prepared. The art of taking tourists for fools... Run away! NB: The wines by the glass, however, are of very good quality.

29/08/2026: The food was very good, and the waiter was friendly. However, an error on their part with the bill forced the entire table (40 people) to get out the receipt, recalculate, etc., because they believed some people hadn't paid. In the end, it was indeed their mistake, and they didn't apologize for the inconvenience. Disappointing; we won't be returning.

08/08/2026: A wonderful discovery in Alsace! We had lunch at this restaurant today and had a fantastic time. The cuisine is simple, authentic, and truly delicious, yet the dishes are beautifully presented and worthy of a Michelin-starred restaurant. A real feast for the eyes even before you start eating! The manager is lovely, always smiling, and very welcoming. She took excellent care of us throughout the meal, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The place is warm and inviting, decorated with great taste and attention to detail, all in a beautiful Alsatian style that gives the place a lot of charm. A place where you feel comfortable, where the food is excellent, and which we recommend without hesitation.

17/07/2026: We passed by this brasserie during a hike. It was around 2 p.m., very hot, and we simply wanted a cold drink. Unfortunately, we were greeted by three particularly cold people, with the distinct impression that our presence was bothering them. Once seated, we checked Google and found that the brasserie closed at 2 p.m. We deduced that this frosty reception was probably related to the time. If that was indeed the case, it would have been better to tell us clearly rather than conveying your displeasure through your tone and body language. Customers can certainly understand that you have break times or need rest. However, they shouldn't feel like they're intruding simply because they entered your establishment. We came with the intention of spending money and making a purchase. Given the reception we received, we sincerely regretted it.

31/05/2026: Our recent stay at Hôtel À La Cour d’Alsace in Obernai was a very pleasant experience. We drove from Germany and found the hotel relatively easy to locate despite its position within the historic town center. The narrow one-way street leading to the property is clearly signposted, and guests can either drive directly into the hotel courtyard for check-in or use the conveniently located parking area just before the entrance. The check-in process was smooth and welcoming. The receptionist spoke both English and German fluently, making communication effortless, and personally guided us to the entrance of our building. This thoughtful touch immediately set a positive tone for our stay. The hotel itself is charmingly laid out, with rooms distributed across several interconnected buildings. We stayed in the newer section adjacent to the swimming pool, which proved to be an excellent choice. Given the unusually warm weather for late May, with temperatures reaching 31°C, the built-in air conditioning was greatly appreciated and ensured a comfortable stay throughout. Our Deluxe Room was spacious, well-appointed, and thoughtfully designed. We particularly appreciated the separate shower and toilet areas, with the washbasin located in its own dedicated space. Practical amenities included a safe, an empty refrigerator, approximately ten clothes hangers, a hairdryer, a well-lit mirror, and a magnifying mirror. Bathrobes, towels, and slippers were also provided, making visits to the swimming pool convenient and enjoyable. There were a few minor drawbacks. No iron or ironing board was available in the room. Additionally, the lighting controls were somewhat unconventional, using touch-sensitive switches that occasionally behaved unpredictably. A few ceiling spotlights were not functioning; however, the room remained pleasantly illuminated thanks to the abundance of ambient lighting. One of the hotel’s standout features is its peaceful garden courtyard. Although the bar was not open during our stay, the reception staff were happy to serve drinks, which could be enjoyed outdoors amidst birdsong and tranquil surroundings. For a hotel located in the very center of town, this quiet retreat was exceptional. The main square of Obernai is only a two-minute walk away, making the location ideal for exploring the town on foot. Breakfast was satisfactory but not particularly memorable. The hot selection was limited to scrambled eggs, spinach, and locally produced sausage pieces. The pancakes were served cold, which was somewhat disappointing. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hôtel À La Cour d’Alsace. Its excellent central location, spacious and comfortable rooms, free parking, effective air conditioning, peaceful garden setting, and friendly multilingual staff make it an excellent choice for visitors to

28/05/2026: We spent one night at this hotel. The location is perfect for exploring the city on foot. The rooms are simple, the bedding impeccable, the bathroom a bit dated. Breakfast is plentiful, but nothing is homemade. Regarding the spa, only the pool and sauna were open. There was no bar service available other than self-service tea. If you're looking for a "spa," look elsewhere.

02/06/2026: Last Sunday morning, during my hike, I spontaneously stopped by the hotel and asked about breakfast. That wasn't a problem at all; the staff responded quickly and easily, warmly inviting me to stay. So I was able to help myself to the buffet, just like the other overnight guests. What surprised me even more was the price of €14. I thought that was very fair. The Anthon is a well-maintained hotel that combines old-world charm with a modern ambiance. Hospitality is clearly a priority, without feeling forced. Thank you again for the warm welcome.

13/08/2026: This restaurant deserves a much higher rating than 4.3. The sauerkraut was incredibly flavorful, the meat exceptional. The pork chop was fantastic, and the fat was amazing. The waitress was super friendly. Their Gewürztraminer is incredible. In short, go there!
