I was very pleasantly surprised and delighted not to have to leave the hotel for a good meal during a busy work week! The servers, Eva and Jérémy, are fantastic: discreet, smiling, and attentive. Everything was perfect! Bravo! 👍

The atmosphere was very relaxing, the food delicious and simple, but above all, the service was incredibly pleasant, not only from the young waiter, but also from the manager, who exuded such charm, passion, and attentiveness that you feel completely at ease, in addition to the restaurant's ambiance. A genuine smile, gentle yet professional service—it was such a treat, especially as a restaurateur myself, to experience such kind and professional service. An address I will definitely remember for my next visit to Haguenau. A pleasure to recommend without hesitation.

14/04/2026: Hello everyone, My wife and I had lunch at Sonne today. We were both extremely satisfied; the food was very good, and the service was friendly and helpful. Both the food menu and the drinks menu offer something for everyone. The restaurant is run by a relatively young couple. He works in the front of house and speaks excellent English, while she cooks, occasionally helps out with the service, and speaks excellent German. We were very happy with what was offered and will gladly return. As always, come and see for yourselves. Markus Reinbold

09/05/2026: We went for lunch at this restaurant, which we know well because we're from Châtenois. A truly excellent restaurant where we always eat very, very well. We called two hours before noon on a Saturday and got a reservation on the terrace without any problem. The dishes on the menu are divine! We each had the excellent pork cheeks. A good Burgundy wine to accompany our meal, and to finish, a very good dessert. A big plus for the professionalism of the waiter! And on top of that, he was very friendly! We'll be back!

The Danish-style herring was impeccably fresh, subtly complemented by grapefruit and apple—a beautiful balance. The liver dumplings and pig's trotter were genuine, flavorful, dishes with character that truly delighted the palate. Special mention goes to the sorbets drizzled with Gewurztraminer marc and the authentic crème brûlée, perfectly caramelized. The welcome was warm, and we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. The whole family enjoyed it, and the children ate very well too. We highly recommend it!
