22/09/2024: Unglaublich freundlich… leckere Küche. Heiße Empfehlung. Wir sind relativ spät zum Mittagessen gekommen und es war überhaupt kein Problem.

18/09/2024: we had a great dinner here on our last night in strausborg. this is a small and intimate restaurant with a limited menu, just how my dad and I like it. we especially appreciated the owner, who was willing to speak french with my dad. he was raised by quebec french speakers and the french in france are not always enthused when foreigners try to speak their language. ultimately, we were the quietest americans in the restaurant (low bar). on to food. started with the beef carpaccio, which could have been a bit thinner but the nice pesto spread over the top of it made up for it. I had perfectly cooked steak frites in pepper sauce and my dad got the duck. we both throughly enjoyed our meal and had to finish with creme brulee. i would definitely recommend this restaurant to a friend. the owner made us feel like family and that is the key to good dining. cheers and hope to return sgain.

10/12/2024: It's not the first time we've stayed there but it's a shame there are some negative points that are easy to correct. The charm of the old restaurant is no longer there! The staff lacks professionalism and they make you feel the end of service time quite quickly. Too bad... The quality drops... Decent hotel room and very friendly and courteous staff. Mixed review...

15/12/2024: Das Restaurant hat seinen Michelin-Stern zu Recht; die Küche ist ausgezeichnet, den Kochstil würde ich in den Kategorien des Michelin als "contemporain" bezeichnen. Hochwertige Produkte, perfekt zubereitet, wie die Coquilles St Jacques, der confierte bretonische Hummer, die Wirsingroulade vom Rehrücken mit Foie gras, mit 98 Euro ist bietet das Menu auch ein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Die Weinpreise sind allerdings prohibitiv - eine derart hochpreisige Weinkarte habe ich in Frankreich auch in höherbesternten Restaurants nocn nicht gesehen - mit Mühe wird man im Bereich zwischen 50 und 100 Euro fündig, im Burgund kaum unter 200 Euro. Der Service ist freundlich und zuvorkommend. - WIr haben dort übernachtet; das Zimmer war einigermaßen geräumig, aber ohne eigentliches Badezimmer, die Dusche ist zwar abgetrennt, das WC natürlich auch, ansonsten besteht die Installation aus einem - kleinen- Lavabo mit einem - ebenso kleinen - Spiegel im Zimmer.
