26/03/2026: Our last visit was a year ago, when we stumbled upon this butcher shop/restaurant. We only went into the shop. They have fantastic products and a great selection. Unfortunately, my French is poor to very poor, but there was a saleswoman who spoke some German, thank you for that! We would have loved to buy more, but the language barrier remained, even though we all tried our best! At home, we tried the products and regretted not buying more – delicious, delicious, delicious! Kudos to the master butcher and his team! We'll be back with a translator!

13/03/2026: As part of the restaurant's festive events, the menu item at Kastelberg was described as: "Celery ravioli with mushroom duxelles, finely shredded smoked eel in a vibrant ginger broth." The dish I received contained only two slices of celery sandwiched between other vegetables. When I asked where the shredded eel was, I was bluntly told that it was cooked in the broth. In that case, the more accurate description would be "eel-infused broth," not "shredded eel in broth." The description clearly implies the presence of fish on the plate. No compensation or alternative was offered, leaving a distinct impression of false advertising and a misleading description of the final product. It's a shame, because the main course was decent, and the average dessert resembled a piece of mass-produced fruit mousse cake. Edible, but nothing special; I didn't detect the promised cardamom flavor. Overall, I was disappointed by this restaurant for the first time.

22/02/2026: We had an absolutely wonderful time at this restaurant for a family meal, and everything was perfect from start to finish. The welcome was warm, attentive, and genuinely kind, which immediately put the whole family at ease. The dishes were simply delicious: fresh ingredients, generous portions, and perfectly balanced flavors. Each plate was as beautiful as it was tasty. Everyone, young and old, thoroughly enjoyed themselves, which is quite rare and worth mentioning! The service was impeccable, quick without being rushed, with a smiling and always available staff. The friendly and elegant atmosphere makes it an ideal place to share a moment with family. We left with wonderful memories and the desire to return very soon. We wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant!

18/03/2026: I rediscovered this restaurant during a dinner with friends on a Friday evening. We had reserved a table for 8:30 pm but arrived early, at 8:00 pm. This wasn't a problem at all, and a table was quickly set for us. The restaurant offers tarte flambée, a varied menu, and daily specials at very attractive prices, including a weekly set menu available for lunch and dinner from Wednesday to Friday. I opted for the set menu (main course + dessert) and thoroughly enjoyed it for a very reasonable price. The photo shows the dessert: a poached pear in white wine, Belle Hélène style—delicious! My friends also thoroughly enjoyed their meals. I highly recommend it.

19/01/2026: A charming, slightly old-fashioned restaurant, no frills or unnecessary frills, just simple and practical. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The real surprise is the menu. A small menu, just the way I like it, the dishes are of very high quality and the portions are generous. After an excellent Foie Gras with Cream of Pumpkin, we continued with Hare Fillet and Pheasant Fillet. We didn't have room for dessert. We had a wonderful time indulging our taste buds. Thank you and congratulations to the chef.

19/03/2026: We won't be returning to this place. We got the last table at 12:15 PM. A friendly welcome... BUT the wait was far too long; our main course arrived at 1:45 PM... Some were offered appetizers, but not all... There was a noticeable difference between regulars and first-time customers... The order of arrival wasn't respected by the staff... The wait was so long that we cut our meal short after the main course by asking for the bill... After yet another wait because the payment terminal wasn't working, we got up, and only then did they rush to take our payment. They may be running around, but with only two hands, their smiles are just a mask... Your response seems to clearly indicate that you're at the wrong table... Furthermore, my name isn't Mickaël. We wish you all the best.

08/03/2026: Excellent restaurant, very varied menu, delicious and generous portions, affordable prices! I highly recommend this restaurant. I deducted one star for the waiter with braids covering his face (not very hygienic)! Also, for his lack of friendliness; he didn't smile and couldn't understand a word he said. Either he wasn't having a good day, or he's just naturally unpleasant… The other young waiters were lovely and very attentive. We will be back.

18/03/2026: Simple and good food. We had dandelion salad and a burger. The atmosphere was a bit cold, too much direct light. Small candles or soft lighting at each table would make it feel warmer.
