As night falls, the place transforms into a truly magical atmosphere thanks to its poetic lighting: beautiful lanterns illuminate the space, while spotlights discreetly hidden in the trees highlight the surrounding greenery. As for the food, it's simply excellent (I personally enjoyed the classic and gratinéed tarte flambée). The impeccable and attentive service completes the experience, guaranteeing an unforgettable evening in a warm and refined ambiance.

22/08/2026: The owners' father is incredibly nice. We only sat down for a few beers, and between his kindness and seeing the dishes coming out of the kitchen, we simply had to eat there. 31/08/2026: After more than 10 years of climbing and having tried around thirty different climbing gyms, I returned to Block Out Strasbourg. The first good point is the very pleasant welcome, unfortunately, that's the only one. Indeed, the route setting has never evolved; removing holds from an easy problem to make it harder doesn't make you a good route setter. Throughout the entire gym, you'll only find physical-type problems, and they aren't even particularly good. And to top it all off, the holds are outdated and poorly used; it makes you wonder where the customers' money goes... In short, this gym is absolutely ideal if your goal is to put someone off climbing altogether or to convince your kids to play soccer instead of climbing.

25/08/2026: Best climbing club in town. A sauna, a restaurant, kids' courses, a weight room—all with a super friendly team to welcome you, and cheaper than a gym. I highly recommend it for overcoming your fear of heights, pushing your athletic limits, and having fun! I've been climbing there for three years, and no other gym compares.

19/07/2026: Open weekends only, reservations essential. All the staff are incredibly attentive, with smiles and kindness. Fast service despite a full house – a big thumbs up! The tarte flambée is a real treat, as are their homemade desserts.

24/05/2026: A wonderful weekend with my sisters and brothers-in-law, as always. The rooms were cozy, the food was excellent, and the breakfast was superb. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool, having come for years and always remaining very satisfied. I highly recommend it.

18/04/2026: We spent a day at the hotel spa, or rather, two hours at the spa and two hours at the restaurant for lunch. To be honest, as frequent restaurant and hotel diners, we expected much better. First, at the restaurant, the welcome was quite cordial. The service, however, was very slow. The wait between courses was interminable. The waitress told us about her health problems even though we hadn't asked, and the waiter cleared the table by placing the cloth bread basket on top of a sauce-covered plate. We headed to the spa hoping to relax. But what a disappointment! While the establishment looked high-quality from the outside, the arrival at the spa was… negative. There were just two changing rooms, the walls of which were partially moldy. A sort of locker room without a shower. A hairdryer that must have been at least 20 years old. The spa is very small, with two saunas and a hammam that wasn't working. Too few sun loungers for the number of customers. The sensory showers were overcrowded. The jacuzzi wasn't very hot. The tiles around the pool were extremely slippery. After an hour and a half at the spa, we decided to leave. Really disappointed with our visit. Very poor value for money.

29/06/2026: I stopped by this evening 5 minutes before closing time, and despite that, I received a very warm welcome. I thank the team for their professionalism, and the products are very good: breads and pastries.

06/07/2026: We came to celebrate my daughter's birthday and everything was perfect. The melon carpaccio with feta and mint was a delight for starters. We then tried the fish, the pork tenderloin, and the linguine: not a single misstep. Generous portions, fresh ingredients, beautifully presented, and a warm yet professional welcome. Special mention for the birthday dessert brought with its candle – a lovely touch. We'll be back.

06/06/2026: During our stay at the spa hotel, we also dined at the hotel restaurant. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The value for money is truly exceptional: for very reasonable prices, we enjoyed delicious and well-prepared dishes. It was really very good, a wonderful surprise. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal there during our stay. I highly recommend it. 😊

16/05/2026: I'd been wanting to try the cake for ages, like ages, but every time I went there it was sold out. But I hadn't given up hope 😂 And this time I was lucky enough to taste it, and I don't regret the wait at all 😅 It's absolutely delicious. A bit pricey for a cake, but you're mostly buying the name, and the flavors were definitely there.
