06/08/2026: Very disappointed compared to the good reviews I read on Google... One Americano and one pain au chocolat for €5, which seems excessive given the quality of the pastry. The pain au chocolat was on par with a mass-produced one from Carrefour. What's more, it didn't seem to be freshly baked... And we looked for the chocolate inside... there were only traces of chocolate... Gone are the "chocolate bars" that used to be found in good artisanal pain au chocolat... There's no point in "deceiving" customers by offering pain au chocolat covered in sugar syrup that adds nothing to the pastry except making it sticky! An experience not to be repeated.

02/09/2026: We were really looking forward to some delicious tarte flambée, but we were completely disappointed. I've never had such a bad one. I don't know if the bacon was old or the cream. We had to wait an hour for the bottle of mineral water, and it only arrived after asking several times, along with the wine we ordered. And it wasn't even busy. The rump steak looked more like soup meat, but it was edible. We're definitely never going back there.

28/08/2026: Old-fashioned place, 1.5-hour wait to be served after drinks, supposedly home-style and traditional cuisine. Despite its proximity to the Rhine, avoid it.

08/08/2026: The kebabs are good but nothing extraordinary and especially expensive for the quantity. Over the years the prices have increased but the quantity has decreased significantly (more raw vegetables than meat).

30/07/2026: We visited Au Tilleul several times during our vacation and always enjoyed returning. The value for money is truly excellent, and the food was delicious every time. The staff was consistently friendly and attentive. You should allow some extra time, as it can sometimes take a while for the food to arrive. However, this didn't bother us, as the atmosphere is very pleasant. Overall, we can definitely recommend Au Tilleul. Despite the wait, we give it 4.5 to 5 out of 5 stars. Our personal recommendations: The chuck roast with roast potatoes and all the tarte flambées!

05/09/2026: We ate simple dishes, so it's difficult to judge the "exceptional" aspect of the cuisine, but it was good. The service was quick and efficient, and the courtyard still has a lot of charm and tranquility. We've been before... and come back again... So, see you soon.

05/09/2026: Very disappointed. The three Caesar salads I ordered arrived without eggs or Parmesan cheese. The waiter apologized, blaming it on the apprentice... In the end, there was no compensation, not even complimentary coffees. The bill was exorbitant for a salad with chicken, a slice of tomato, and cucumber, costing over €16.

05/08/2026: Everything was excellent, from the main course to the dessert, as well as a very good wine recommended by the staff. Special mention also goes to the friendliness of the waitresses and the chef's friendly greeting. My family and I had a wonderful time and will definitely return. I recommend this establishment 100%.

29/05/2026: Disappointing! We had booked for a group because the setting is nice. Upon arrival, we were seated for 40 minutes without being offered an aperitif, despite the sweltering heat. A couple arrived after us, and they were served before us. The two-person staff was clearly overwhelmed by the number of customers. We left. No one came to apologize. Very disappointed. Cold welcome, zero service, zero friendliness... I do not recommend it.
