06/12/2025: Absolutely wonderful music, wonderful wine and risotto. There was only one smiling girl at the service. She had a little trouble keeping up, but it was nice that she was smiling.

22/11/2025: We had often hesitated to dine there due to the rather mixed reviews, but thanks to the Gourmet Passport, it was the perfect opportunity to form our own opinion. We had a wonderful evening: the setting is magnificent, full of charm, and tastefully decorated for the Christmas holidays 🎄. A jazz concert accompanied the meal, making the atmosphere even more enjoyable. The cocktails were excellent, and we ate very well. The prices are a bit high, but consistent with the quality of the food and the elegance of the place. The service, meanwhile, was impeccable and professional. We will gladly return. Thank you for this experience!

09/09/2024: Für uns war der Besuch eine einzige Enttäuschung: Die Quiche kam im Kern eiskalt und am Rand gerade noch warm an. Nach der Bitte, sie aufzuwärmen, war sie immer noch nicht heiß. Schmeckte fad und war zudem ausgesprochen unansehnlich. Vermutlich hatte sie auch vorher schon manche zu kurze Runde in der Mikrowelle gedreht. Die Rösti waren ungesalzen, also auch ausgesprochen fade. Einen Salzstreuer mussten wir erbitten, der wurde dann kurzerhand vom Nachbartisch gemopst. Machte die Sache aber auch nicht viel besser. Fazit für uns: reiner Touristennepp.

21/08/2024: Suite à refus de nous servir dans un restaurant voisin, nous voici arrivés dans cet établissement. Une carte plutôt diversifiée pour les plats et très variées pour les boissons…un peu moins pour les desserts. Cependant, une écoute attentive et personnalisée par le personnel afin de répondre aux différentes demandes particulières (type vinaigrette sans sucre pour une personne diabétique). L’ensemble du repas a été correct et les mets proposés sont plutôt locaux. Nous vous conseillons l’île flottante qui est énorme et a un coût réduit, à savoir 5€… Une brasserie bien sympathique au cœur de Colmar, et un service au top. Nous recommandons cet établissement pour une halte déjeuner.

05/01/2026: Sauerkraut served in a tiny oval dish. Tasteless, the cabbage swimming in its own juices. A tourist trap above all else. Not recommended.

23/10/2024: Walking around Colmar, for the very first time, it was the most splendid discovery of my trip. Looking for a bakery in the area, the beauty of Colmar's famous pretzel immediately attracted me. At the entrance to this one, I must admit, I expected a slightly warmer welcome from the region, a small point to improve ;) But as far as my order goes, every savory sandwich in your shop was fabulous. They knew how to revive adults and children alike with succulent and sought-after flavors. I have rarely eaten sandwiches this good, you have my word. Looking forward to eating your sandwiches again, and see you soon to taste your pretzels!

01/06/2025: Magnificent location, beautiful terraces, green surroundings, and a landscape enhanced by the small pond facing the terraces. A truly sublime setting. Service was decent, friendly, and cheerful. As for the food, it was a total disappointment. Menu at €60 and nothing more. Bland starter despite the attention paid to presentation. Rossini was good quality, but disappointed with the sauce without any particular flavor, served with fries and salad. It's a shame it wasn't served with vegetables, because putting salad on a hot plate cooks it twice as fast. Assortment of cheeses was decent, simple. Dessert was a total disappointment; the presentation and taste were lacking. Coffee was flavorless, almost translucent once served. It looked like it was topped up with water or filter coffee. We came to discover it, but it's a shame the food doesn't match the restaurant's service, which is in a magnificent setting.

29/05/2025: We were part of a group of about 20 people. We had our menu pre-ordered and were invited.

11/11/2025: We used to love coming here to enjoy a good crepe. Now they're served to us tasteless on cardboard plates.

28/09/2024: I only went to the restaurant here, but that was nice. Hidden in a niche between two houses, it's easy to miss! Cozy, especially for two, you can see that you are sitting in a former cellar, but it is very cozy and lovingly decorated. The vine-covered terrace decorated with fairy lights is also beautiful. Fast friendly service, the food was A1, the prices were reasonable, value for money was right.

13/09/2024: Cambio de propietario - inaceptable, descortés, servicio poco profesional! Cuando la falda de mi hija se rompió por los bordes ásperos de la mesa, el dueño culpó a mi hija. No mostró ningún respeto y no hizo ningún esfuerzo comercial. Incluso mintió sobre sus responsabilidades como gerente. Actitud incapaz y deshonesta.

13/09/2024: Restaurant à éviter ! A peine arrivée à table, ma jupe s'accroche à la table avec un résultat de plusieurs trous. Quand la serveuse m'envoie le patron, monsieur me fait non gentiment comprendre que ce n'est pas sa faute, ni son problème. Quand je demande une solution, j'ai droit à un "je ne suis pas le chef ici". Honteux de gérer un établissement d'une telle façon! To avoid at all cost! Only getting seated, my skirt gets caught on the table, resulting in several small holes in the skirt. The waitress sends me the manager, who tells me rudely that it isn't his fault and not his problem. When asked for a solution, I was told " I am not the manager here". Disgraceful and incapable!

15/06/2025: A hotel immersed in nature in a magnificent setting! You don't have to come to this establishment to find luxury, as it's an authentic, timeless place, a place of the past. The manager of this hotel is truly very helpful and incredibly kind. He cares about this hotel, and he made it clear to us through his many accommodating gestures, particularly regarding our check-in time and the late hour we decided to eat. He also brought breakfast forward, and let us keep the pool open well after the specified time. Quality bedding, very clean shower, sink, and toilet. Pets are welcome. This kind gentleman even gave us each a bar of chocolate upon our departure. This gentleman is elderly; it's difficult for him to maintain the place entirely, but it's rare these days to find such kind and caring people, and that's priceless.

23/03/2025: Great weekend, beautiful place. very nice meeting with the owner. beautiful swimming pool sauna and jacuzzi. total disconnection very relaxing place.

12/12/2025: The bread is good (but not always), the saleswomen are helpful, but it takes forever, especially the light brown-haired woman with blue eyes; you can tell she's not paid by the piece.

11/12/2025: We visited this place just before it closed for New Year's Eve. The desserts were good, nothing particularly amazing, but good. Going there at the end of the day probably isn't the best for freshness, but we made do.

24/09/2024: Too bad the owner is not professional because there are a lot of hotel failures. Disappointed by the poor reception = first and last time because there is no shortage of competition to satisfy its customers!

12/09/2024: The booked stay went well: the location, the spa, the room and the meal. However, it was not won because the manager was visibly moody, she had hung up on my 80 year old mother when she tried to book (twice because it was not the right time) . So not professional. However, it is the customers who make a tourist place come alive. It's a shame when we offer zen... so this will be a first and last time. There is competition in the region.

01/10/2024: The fish was disgustingly dry and the vegetables only had to be frozen. I don't recommend this restaurant, I'm not ready to go back.

27/09/2024: Fried carp too fatty and not much for the price we pay the kitchen staff should smile a little and be friendly and not get drunk when you ask them for something kindly have a good evening!

04/06/2025: We spent a wonderful early June evening sitting outside in the plein air seating area of Auberge des Chevaliers, enjoying a meal of choucroute garnie with locally brewed (in Strasbourg) beer. The evening couldn't have been nicer, sunny and cool as the sun began to go down. Service was wonderful. The waiter was nonplussed by our request to split two plates of choucroute garnie between four of us, and when the plates arrived, we were glad we'd made that decision. Servings were enormous, with each plate piled high with roasted pigs' knuckles, two kinds of sausages, and slices of roast pork that our German friends know as Kassler Rippchen. In addition, there was a mound of sauerkraut, and with it, several boiled potatoes. The only discordant note was the cumin flavoring in the sauerkraut, which is far from traditional but increasingly popular in sauerkraut-loving areas of Europe.
