The various dishes served to us were beautifully presented. The price per person was fair for a meal including an aperitif, starter, main course, dessert, and wine. 16/03/2026: A very good experience at La Table du Lac. I had the steak tartare, which was truly excellent. The setting is beautiful, and the service was also good. However, I'm not giving it 5 stars because serving frozen fries for an establishment with the "Maître Restaurateur" label is a bit disappointing. Homemade fries would have been much appreciated. Nevertheless, it's still a very good place to eat.

07/03/2026: The chef and the crew were fantastic. Had some of the most amazing vegetarian food . Ambience, wine selection, the service. Superb. Only funny thing is that you have some weird hanging sculpture and a half cut heffer which is really not good for creating an appetite. But maybe that's just my take 😀

03/03/2026: I can confirm in March 2026 that it's still just as good a place. Thank you to the Schilling family. Review from 2020: A magical place. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The setting is impeccable, both the restaurant and the hotel. The rooms are superb, as are the spa and the pool. All this in the middle of the vineyards.

07/01/2026: I have travelled the world extensively over 40 years. I ate at all restaurants ranging from pop & mom’s to Michelin three stars. This is my honest review of the restaurant Au Relais des Ménétriers in Ribeauvillé, Alsace, France. This restaurant is located about a 5-minute walk from the entrance of the old town of this beautiful village, making it very easy to reach while still feeling pleasantly calm. The tables are well spaced, allowing for comfortable conversations, and the service is friendly, smiling, and attentive throughout the meal. We had the opportunity to try the Baeckeoffe au canard, a specialty made with duck, baked in a terrine-style mold and served with a generous selection of vegetables. The dish was both very flavorful and surprisingly light, with duck that was incredibly tender, clearly benefiting from the slow cooking in this cake-mold-shaped cocotte. We also ordered the matelote of perch, wrapped in a very fine pastry and served with a delicious sauce. Both dishes are emblematic of Alsatian cuisine and were executed with great care and precision. We finished with a chocolate moelleux for dessert, which was rich and satisfying. Considering the quality of the food, the setting, and the service, the prices are very reasonable. All in all, a restaurant I can highly recommend to anyone visiting Ribeauvillé and looking for authentic, well-executed Alsatian dishes in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

31/12/2025: Vosges locals, regulars at the mountain ridge inns, were delighted to have eaten at this small, unpretentious, but incredibly friendly family-run farm inn. Highly recommended for those looking for something other than smoked goat, tofayes (a type of sausage), or roïgabrageldi (a type of sausage)! Efficient and friendly service. We will gladly return.

29/01/2026: I came last October with some friends. One of them knows someone who works there. I had an Alsatian galette, which was very good, with Munster, a delicious Alsatian cheese. For dessert, I had the apple compote, which was also good; the crêpe was covered in cinnamon.

07/02/2026: Avoid at all costs! The waiter takes your order with his hands in his pockets. You get the feeling you're bothering him, and he's not even smiling. You get the impression that people he knows get served better than everyone else.
