01/02/2026: A fantastic hotel in the heart of Les Gets, right in the center of the slopes and entertainment. The staff were very polite, attentive, friendly, and helpful. The breakfast was also very satisfying, and the food was quite delicious. The only problem was that the rooms were very small for a family of four; we had difficulty moving around. The lack of a window and ventilation in the separate room with the bunk bed was a drawback. Otherwise, everything was perfect. Thank you.

09/03/2026: Excellent location for this family-run restaurant at the foot of the L'Hôtel slope. Everything is homemade. If you're looking for a typical mountain spot where you feel comfortable, eat well, and are served by attentive staff, you've come to the right place! Our go-to spot for a great fondue (and much more) every time we visit Praz-de-Lys, summer or winter.

03/02/2026: We discovered this restaurant this evening with my partner and our son, and it was love at first bite. The staff is lovely, with attentive service provided by Claire, and Aurélie, the manager, is also very pleasant and welcoming. A typical restaurant with a warm atmosphere and traditional cuisine: exactly what you dream of when you come to Megève. We enjoyed it so much that we've already booked for another evening. A flawless experience from start to finish. Thank you to the whole team for this wonderful and delicious meal.

22/02/2026: My children and I were in Chamonix to celebrate my upcoming 60th birthday! Our dinner at La Caleche was our only reservation. We thoroughly enjoyed the raclette & fondue!

24/02/2026: A beautiful spot for a break during a ski trip. It's a real shame, though, that the cake ordered with coffee only arrived long after the coffee was finished! And even after asking twice, they didn't bring any cake with the coffee, only afterward. They weren't happy about our wanting the cake with our coffee and specifically requested it. We were supposed to just enjoy our vacation and the view. Which, of course, we were doing! It's a wonderful place! It's a great place to go, but if you have pocket money and patience, go for it! (3 coffees, 2 hot chocolates, and 2 berry tarts (€9.50!!) for €43)

24/02/2026: Excellent restaurant right on the slopes! The staff are truly top-notch and the welcome is very warm. Despite the queue at the entrance, you can almost always find a table inside. A very varied menu with delicious mountain dishes at reasonable prices. The only downside: no internet… but ultimately, this allows for a real digital detox. A rare find for me: 5/5!

15/03/2026: The owner of this bar is very unpleasant, to the point that we left quickly. I don't recommend it, although the waiters/waitresses are pleasant. I don't recommend it.

16/09/2025: The place itself looks really nice and authentic, but the service is horrible. Even if it’s full and they don’t accepting orders for food and you just ask for a drink inside (just pour a drink in a glass, take money, and I would bring a glass by myself to the table) they would do anything except this and let you wait standing for half hour. Or maybe it’s because I’m not French😂

25/02/2026: Wonderful place to stop for a meal or drink on the mountain. My entire family (6 people) was able to get a table quickly. The food was great and the scenery was fantastic. I do reccomend coming earlier in the day if you have a larger group. Additionally, I believe they take reservations but we did not need one during the week.

07/02/2026: I came on a Saturday with my boyfriend and a friend and I'm very, very satisfied. A very welcoming place, the waitress was very pleasant and attentive to our requests. Excellent food, I highly recommend it!

09/12/2025: Don’t come if you want to be discriminated and be treated very rudely by your waiter. We’re Asian and were served upstairs by an Asian looking waiter - other staff treated us nicely. The waiter who served us was so obviously discriminatory towards us, he didn’t smile once, he was so impatient and had such a rude/harsh tone, took away dishes without saying or asking anything (we were still dipping bread into the plate of escargots when he took it away), put our food down and walked away (didn’t say what it was or anything at all). When someone asked if the steak could be cooked medium rare, he immediately said “we are in france, it’s medium or rare, no medium rare” and continued on explaining in such a rude tone. A simple “no sorry” could’ve sufficed. We could see and hear he was laughing and smiling with other tables, described the dishes & said have a nice meal to other parties, etc. The food was decent, but we are travelling around france for the past 2 weeks & not once have we received such rude and racist behaviour. 28/02/2026: Really disappointed with our very short experience. I was staying with my two young children in the hotel in which the restaurant sits. I'd booked a table for three a few nights before and came in with the kids to do so. When we arrived, the head waiter shook his head when he realised the table was for one adult and two children. We ordered a fondue for two and the immediate response was that normally they expect a meal to be ordered per person dining. Apparently he was willing to make an exception tonight. Whilst an apology was given it was clear we were not truly welcome in this restaurant attached to a *family* hotel. All this despite what we ordered totalling more than one adult and two kids meals. We had a lovely meal in a different local restaurant where they more than catered to our needs, and with a smile and sincerity not found here.

23/02/2026: Always a very warm welcome despite the high tourist traffic in Annecy. The café is very well located and has a pleasant terrace.

29/12/2025: I don’t know if we went during busy season but the waiters were all really rude! Towards the end of our drinks we were asked if we “wanted anything else” followed by constant stares from the waiters that were so uncomfortable we eventually left.
