17/03/2026: We had dinner at the Ferme de Cupelin restaurant. It was our first time there since the new owners took over. We were surprised to find a set menu of either 6 or 8 courses. We chose the 6-course option. The food was of good quality and well-presented, but we were a little disappointed with the accompanying jus and sauces, as they lacked flavor. The service was very professional, but we preferred the kindness and friendliness of the previous owners. The staff was a bit rushed. We had a pleasant time overall. In previous years, we were regular customers, but with the new management, we might not return.

29/08/2026: A mixed experience... On the plus side, it's very good: a short menu and seasonal products. We approve! However, the portions are really very small, far too small for the price! The worst part was the €13 dessert, which was finished in three small spoonfuls... What a shame.

14/09/2026: A really great place for a hoppy brew. The self-service taps are practically space-age technology, there's occasional live music, and the bar also offers a few drinks. The German Purity Law could be more strictly observed. Nevertheless, five full pints.

20/09/2026: A fantastic place! The owners are incredibly friendly and the atmosphere is very welcoming. You can see into the kitchen, the crêpes are absolutely delicious, and you can immediately tell that this crêperie is a family affair, with products made with love. It's especially pleasant, particularly in the heart of a resort where some places can sometimes lack a bit of warmth. If you enjoy a delicious break with friends or family, I highly recommend stopping by 😊 They have both savory and sweet crêpes, so ultimately, no matter the time of day, you'll find something you love! An address I'll gladly keep in mind for a future visit 😊

13/08/2026: Every member of staff offered a warm welcome; you feel like you're relaxing at a friend's place while enjoying a drink! Inflatable structures for children. Hiking tips for little ones! Chavane chairlift, then a 30-minute walk to Grand Cry, then a free shuttle to Les Gets every 45 minutes! The place to be!

31/08/2026: Honestly, we thoroughly enjoyed EVERYTHING! The warm welcome and helpful suggestions from Jean-Marc, and Marie's attentiveness and attitude. The Béarnaise ribeye steak is absolutely divine for meat lovers. Well done to you both, we will definitely be back!

28/09/2026: Good food and good service, but a few regrettable points. The ventilation seems inadequate: the windows have to remain open during the meal to let the smoke escape. Most importantly, the presentation of the tip is frankly questionable: the message "service charge not included," written on the menu, is only in English, and at the time of payment, the terminal directly offers 10%, 15%, or 20%. This clearly gives the impression that a tip is expected and not optional. For clarification: in France, tipping is entirely optional and cannot be presented as a mandatory service charge. It's a shame, because the rest was quite good, and the service was perfect.

27/09/2026: Nice and cozy place with a decent menu. We had some very well-cooked ribeye steaks with sides and French wine. Reservation recommended since there are not so many tables.

The welcome, the service, the food, the atmosphere, the table we were given for a romantic evening (plus a dog!), everything delighted us. A lovely evening on the terrace, during which we felt truly happy. A huge thank you to the whole team, you spoiled us, literally and figuratively! 😊

06/07/2026: The atmosphere is fantastic and the food is incredible! This is the place to be in Avoriaz for a festive break right on the slopes. The atmosphere under the sun is magical, perfect for après-ski with breathtaking mountain views. As for the food, it's pure bliss: their truffle pizza is simply exceptional, generous and fragrant, ideal to pair with a good glass of wine. The staff are super energetic and friendly despite the crowds. An experience not to be missed!

08/06/2026: I've been to La Folie Douce two years now – and it's been fantastic every time! Great DJs, great music, no cover charge, drink prices are perfectly reasonable for après-ski, friendly staff, cool dancers, clean restrooms, and always a fun atmosphere among the guests. Plus, they regularly have great themed parties (like Aperol Spritz). I'll be skiing in Avoriaz again next year, so I'll definitely be visiting La Folie Douce regularly!
