28/03/2026: We were very happy with our visit to Le Grand Cry. The food was delicious, and the waitresses were very pleasant and smiling. There was just a slight wait between courses and to pay, but we will definitely be back.

26/07/2026: I love this place. A true village restaurant. Delicious homemade dishes, a lovely dining room, and a beautiful terrace. The owner and her staff, both front and back of house, are fantastic. The welcome is warm and friendly, and the meal is a very pleasant experience. A great place, excellent value for money.

08/07/2026: We ate on the terrace and loved it. The staff were very attentive and helpful; given the heat, they even brought us a spray bottle (so sweet!). The food was excellent; we had the set menu for €19.50, and I highly recommend it!

20/08/2026: We really liked the place. Especially the service; we were served by the waitress Manon, who was lovely and spoke Spanish.

22/07/2026: We very much enjoyed lunch at L'Equisse. We had, respectively, the three and four course set menus for midweek lunch, which are good value. Rather oddly, you're not told what the courses actually are until they arrive, though you can choose meat or fish, and they screen rigourously for allergies. The food was tasty, fresh, and made inventive use of seasonal ingredients. There's a good, very affordable list of aperitifs and wines. Service is friendly and prompt and staff speak English. We found the three course menu was pretty filling when you factor in the pre and post meal amuses bouches; I'm not sure we could have handled the six course menu, let alone the nine (from fellow diners it didn't seem like the course sizes were reduced in any way). The only slight let down was the very hushed atmosphere, a bit like eating in a library. Good for a very quiet intimate conversation, but not very lively or convivial. Still, the food and service would certainly draw us back.

21/07/2026: We took the 6 course which was plenty of food. Delicious, vibrant, full of taste, not pretentious and yet fun and creative. It’s not our first time in a 1-star and we thought they deserve it.

06/08/2026: Fantastic welcome from the whole team, a complete change of scenery! The atmosphere was warm and friendly, Ilona made us feel at ease as soon as we arrived. She took our picture and even let us try génépi liqueur! Honestly, it will remain an unforgettable moment. Thank you so much!

The staff is exceptional; a huge thank you to Ilona, ​​she's welcoming, always smiling, she's wonderful and made our time unforgettable. 07/08/2026: A very nice establishment, warm welcome, and dedicated parking for takeaway pizzas. Consider going down to the lake to enjoy your pizzas at sunset. Be aware that parking can sometimes be tricky.

23/08/2026: We had dinner at L’outa last Friday after a visit to Le Bélier. I was a little late and they were very understanding. We eat there regularly. The pizzas are excellent and the service impeccable! A must-try!

20/08/2026: The experience was pleasant until my dish arrived: tataki. Served on a flat slate, with sauce and juicy vegetables. After five minutes, I realized the entire dish had spilled down the slate, onto the table, and finally onto my pants. I called the waiter over, who replied, "Oh, really?" and brought a paper napkin, which he slipped under the slate. No table was cleaned, nor was there an apology. I spent the rest of my meal hunched over the table until I called the waitress, who then cleaned it properly. When the bill came, there was no apology, and to top it off, she said, "You're the only one this happened to; it's not my fault you don't know how to eat." Deplorable.

07/08/2026: We spent two nights at Le Gautard on a half-board basis. A very pleasant stay. Away from the hustle and bustle of the larger establishments on the plateau, this house is smaller (3 bedrooms), which is a welcome change. Absolute peace and quiet, a very warm welcome. Lovely conversation with the owner. Very generous meals and breakfasts, perfect for hiking. Thank you again for the hospitality.

No napkins... A little disappointed
