11/03/2026: We happened to be passing by (family of four) and it was a great find. Speed ​​and quality were both excellent, and the friendly, helpful staff gave us a warm welcome. The meals were generous and delicious.

07/03/2026: First time at Courbet yesterday for lunch, ordering à la carte. I'd heard about this restaurant several times, always with good reviews. And indeed, I wasn't disappointed. The grilled pig's ear salad was delicious (special mention for the salad itself, which was very well seasoned – a rare find these days), and the duck breast casserole (a restaurant specialty) was very good. The porcini mushrooms and the lamb sweetbreads with porcini mushrooms were also delicious. The potatoes that accompanied the dishes were divine. The baba au rhum was a real treat, with a truly soaked baba inside. The crème caramel was very good, as was the Liège-style dessert. Verdict: generous portions, delicious, and reasonably priced. The local wine (dry white) was also delicious. Go without hesitation!

11/03/2026: I loved this hotel; it's a beautiful, very old building. The decor is rustic in the bar and dining room (and I mean that as a compliment!). There's a grand, majestic staircase leading to the rooms (there's also an elevator). In the rooms: large antique doors, large windows, etc... You feel transported back in time. We were lucky enough to get a room with a bathtub, which was incredibly pleasant after a day of skiing. It's also lovely to have an aperitif or tea in the hotel bar, or to enjoy a meal in the restaurant in the evening, which serves local dishes; the menu is very generous. The breakfast is very generous for the price; there's a wide variety of options. I highly recommend this hotel, which I think offers excellent value for money. The owners are very friendly. We will definitely be back.

24/02/2026: We stayed at this establishment for two nights and, yes, it's rustic and old-fashioned. But the welcome was warm, the sleep was excellent, and the food was very good. The owner clearly cares about hospitality, and it shows. Breakfast and dinner were very good and very generous. The hotel has a shuttle to the Gourette ski resort, and the resort is not far by car. It's a shame the village is a bit of a ghost town, but the Hotel Richelieu brings a little spark of life to Eaux-Bonnes.

21/03/2026: Color, flavor, unexpected combinations, and a delightful crunch—everything came together perfectly at this dinner with friends. The waitress was fantastic, and the chef even came to greet us at the end of the meal. Absolutely perfect! A truly excellent restaurant, not to be missed.

22/04/2026: The room was very comfortable and well-equipped. The staff were friendly and offered helpful advice on places to visit. We had dinner on-site Saturday evening; there was no restaurant, but we had homemade tapas. A delightful discovery: langoustine ravioli and perfectly cooked octopus. The only downside was the rather busy road. This was easily remedied with the Kies earplugs.

28/12/2025: Eternal thanks to the TELLECHEA couple. The pear-trout-foie gras mille-feuille and, of course, Xamango's Parmentier will remain among the pinnacles of gastronomy. And those impromptu evenings with Jean-Claude... Nostalgia for a genuine authenticity punctuated by unwavering standards.

16/04/2026: We came for lunch. We ordered a main course and dessert and were very disappointed with the quality of the food. The duck hearts were poorly prepared. The Périgord trout was also disappointing, with a sickeningly sweet sauce and overcooked rice. As for the strawberries and whipped cream, it was clearly store-bought. A real shame.
