19/07/2026: I didn't like the food; the sauce was too cold, the wine wasn't delicious, and on top of that, the glasses were dirty.

09/07/2026: We ordered a hamburger with fries. These were served very quickly; the drinks were served less than 5 minutes earlier.
We were not asked about the doneness of the burger. It was still quite raw, not warm. The bun was also cold. The cheese didn't even melt, so the whole thing was certainly not warm enough.
A shame, because otherwise this is a cozy spot.
07/07/2026: The food is appalling:
For starters, lots of salad with very little garnish.
The sirloin steak was undercooked; I asked for it rare, and it arrived practically raw.
The products weren't homemade despite the very high prices.
The quiche crust was undercooked.
The burger was cold with unmelted cheddar cheese.
The belly was inedible.
Service:
Little interaction, even a cold welcome.
Very slow service; our table was forgotten compared to the others.
A bad experience.

The portions are incredibly generous, everything is delicious, and the prices are really reasonable.
Perfect for sharing some tapas with a drink or for enjoying a beautiful ribeye steak!

This review adds up to dozens of delicious and heartwarming moments.
15/12/2025: Full little restaurant bar situated at the train station where you can watch the trains wooshhhh by as you are eating a delicious locally sourced meal or an expertly prepared cocktail. A fun experience to take in while visiting Guethary!

09/08/2026: Very disappointed 😞 There were only three tables reserved, not even 20 people in total… We waited 45 minutes (our glass of white wine had plenty of time to get warm) to be served hake Spanish style… which, by the way, apparently had absolutely no garlic…
Anyway, we asked for a decaf and were told they were out of it 😆😦 As for the price, it's really not cheap at all… over €40 per person is very expensive for what we ate.
We won't be back… What a shame.
02/08/2026: Absolutely not recommended. Having made a reservation for 7 people at 9 pm, we arrived 5 minutes late. The owner informed us that he had "sold" the table and therefore forced us to go inside, even though we had reserved a table on the terrace. The extremely unpleasant owner told us he was at home and rudely asked us to wait.

The service is impeccable 👌🏾, the food 🍱 is delicious 😋, and the servers are fantastic ✅.
I highly recommend this place, and it was my second birthday 🥳 there; I also celebrated my 28th birthday there…

His team is truly top-notch!
The only problem is finding the time to come back.

15/08/2026: The food is home-style, organic, and delicious. The portions are generous and hearty. The €27 set menu includes a starter, main course, and dessert. You can also choose a single dish for €15. The chef cooks wonderfully, and the restaurant's water is fresh and flavorful. Congratulations to the chef and the servers! Thank you so much for this discovery; it took me right back to my childhood in the village. My check was for €30 per person, and we paid the holiday bill in five installments.

02/05/2026: Very disappointed with this place.
From the aperitif, where I was brought a vermouth instead of a Negroni without being told, accompanied by a single potato chip stuck in a kernel of corn.
The dishes were good but ridiculously small on the plate.
The coffee was brought without sugar, accompanied by three small pieces of chocolate, for two people.
And the bill was presented even though they knew it was a gift.
I won't be going back.
