04/06/2026: Okay, but nothing special. Very slow service. Expensive and not a great atmosphere.

04/06/2026: We came to the Basque Country for our honeymoon, as it's where we got engaged. We arrived late in Saint-Jean-de-Luz and went to the first place we saw. We know it's almost impossible to find a bad place to eat in this region anyway. However, we didn't expect this place to completely exceed our expectations. The staff was warm and welcoming from arrival to departure. We ordered a starter and a main course, but we couldn't resist their desserts. Every bite was perfect. The next day, we couldn't stop thinking about Bar Basque. We returned the following night. We were greeted a second time by the staff and then tried the other dishes they had on offer. Again, the food was incredible. I think it might be the best restaurant I've ever eaten at. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience first-class hospitality and delicious food. Thank you all for being part of our honeymoon. We'll be back!

11/07/2026: Here's a suggestion: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A fantastic experience from start to finish. The food was consistently delicious, with high quality ingredients and well-balanced flavors. The service was warm, personal and professional, and the environment had a genuine, relaxed atmosphere that gave a real sense of the Basque Country. A place where both the food and the experience feel authentic. We will definitely be back.

08/07/2026: The payment terminal had a technical issue. Although my bank had already approved the first Apple Pay transaction, I was required to pay a second time before leaving. No reassurance or solution was offered in case both payments were eventually captured. This made the experience unnecessarily stressful.

05/08/2026: Nice atmosphere and excellent service. Unfortunately, there's not much filling in the galettes. Consider picking up your toppings at the nearby market.

05/08/2026: We stopped at this crêperie upon arriving in Biarritz, before starting our week-long vacation, and we weren't disappointed! The welcome was very pleasant, with an attentive and smiling waiter. We each enjoyed a galette, both of which were delicious. My son particularly loved his, so much so that he asked if we could come back to eat there before the end of our stay… which will most likely be the case! A great place that we happily recommend.
