03/06/2026: Concert this Thursday, May 28, 2026! First up was Stan Silver and the Brave Puppies, a trio playing guitar, vocals, bass, and drums—a very effective country rock sound. Then came the virtuoso Uli Jon Roth and his band... what can I say... it was perfect. What an evening in a friendly yet rockin' atmosphere!

The setting is charming and inviting, ideal for a moment with family or friends, with great background music (I want the playlist! 😀). 26/05/2026: I was delighted!!! Their crepes are delicious. I live in Spain and there isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about going back to eat them again, and the service from the girls was 10/10.

23/01/2026: I stopped by Hendaye on my layover on my way from Paris to San Sebastian. There's a wine shop at the front of the entrance and a wine bar at the back. They have a wide selection of wines by the glass, as well as beer and liqueurs. They also have a wide selection of tapas. The portions might be a little too much for one person. There didn't seem to be an English menu, but the staff were happy to assist me in English. They were very friendly and I felt at home.😊

12/04/2026: For my 30th birthday, on February 9th, 2026, I wanted to spend this special day 🎂 in a magnificent, elegant, beautiful 😍, warm 🥰, and bright place… So, I chose Le Jeu de Paume, a place I particularly love. The service is impeccable 👌🏾, the food 🍱 is delicious 😋, and the servers are fantastic ✅. I highly recommend this place, and it was my second birthday 🥳 there; I also celebrated my 28th birthday there…

20/01/2026: A small, friendly restaurant with a welcoming waitress. The food is served quickly, and the portions are generous and delicious. An ideal spot for food lovers, but also perfect for lunch between meetings.

02/05/2026: We came for a set menu of main course and dessert plus a charcuterie board. Arriving at 1 p.m., the welcome was deplorable! The attitude towards some customers was odious and shameful; at least five groups of customers turned around and left. We only received our dessert at 3 p.m. because we had asked for it! The bread was reheated from the supermarket, the charcuterie was poor quality, the main course was acceptable, but the dessert was also poor. This is definitely the second and last time we will come to this establishment, even though we found it charming the first time (out of season) and intended to become regulars. Alas, that will not be the case.

24/03/2026: Highly recommended! Very friendly, young, and dynamic staff, the food was delicious and alternative, and the atmosphere was very relaxed and inviting. Even with the door open, the music masks the outside noise (cars, mopeds), and the pleasant salsa tones in the background aren't intrusive, creating an almost nostalgic South American flair. The unisex restrooms are very clean by Lucerne standards. We were lucky; the sun was shining, and there were many guests sitting outside on the terrace. There's a bench on the other side of the large front window. It's like meeting a friend for coffee or a light snack. All the prices are perfectly reasonable, and a balanced lunch in the sun with a delicious espresso is pure bliss. We had a few coffees (cappuccino, long coffee, decaf espresso) and a slice of their homemade orange cake. We left around 12:30 because of our departing train, but the bodega was already filling up with lunchtime guests. I felt transported back to my student days and reminded of my time living in a shared apartment 😍 Everyone was welcome, from young to old 😉 We were even greeted by a lovely canine guest. It was a very pleasant surprise to discover this little sunny bodega just around the corner from the train station. Five stars in every way! 👍😎
