15/08/2026: Very welcoming and friendly waiters. Varied and delicious dishes!

12/08/2026: We ate duck confit and duck breast and both dishes were delicious, it was well worth it. I just have to say one thing, the terrace was quite dirty, but otherwise it was brutal.

24/09/2026: Simple and effective cuisine at a reasonable price. The menu offers several options if the daily special doesn't suit you. The shaded outdoor terrace is a real bonus, as the space is quite pleasant and the service is excellent! I highly recommend this establishment.

21/09/2026: The diabolo arrived lukewarm without ice, the ice cream sundae had deflated whipped cream (clearly it had been sitting around), and the crepes were cold, meaning they were pre-made and not even warmed up. Not an amazing experience.

26/09/2026: Very slow service... We come quite often, but that's it for now... What a shame, the crepes were so good!!!

17/08/2026: Mediocre. This restaurant has nothing to offer except its shaded terrace overlooking the Nive River and its location at the foot of the Hotel Le Bayonne (useful if you arrive late). The food is truly mediocre, the dishes bland. The Caesar salad wasn't great; the lettuce leaves were wilted: you could tell it had just come out of the refrigerator 😝 and had no taste. The hot dish was of the same ilk, taken straight from the fridge and reheated. Far too average for the very high price we were charged. Seriously: if you can, walk towards the city center and you can eat quite decently by the Nive.

20/09/2026: I don't understand the comments saying the service and food were terrible. The waiters were friendly and spoke English, Spanish, Basque, and French. The food was great, and the price didn't seem particularly expensive to me. Quite the opposite, in fact. We tried the black pudding and the cheese, and they were fantastic. Thanks

02/08/2026: Excellent brasserie with a wide selection of beers and varied dishes. The manager, Marie, is very professional. They often host concerts, and we went this past Friday evening where there was a very talented rock and roll duo (Two Bags).

17/07/2026: The staff were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and offered great advice on the menu. The portions were generous, and the wine (Lalande de Pomerol) was excellent. We were just passing through; it was my birthday, and I was delighted to celebrate there. I highly recommend it; it was a pleasure. Thank you, and all the best. We'll definitely be back when we're in the area again.

05/10/2026: I ordered a small starter off the menu. They really went to great lengths! Delicious fresh bread, a soft, creamy cheese, black olives, bell peppers. Really, really nice. I had the veal T-bone, my husband the hamburger. Very good. Truly beautiful and high-quality dishes, prepared with care and tailored to the customer. This was our stopover on the way back to the Netherlands, but a beautiful spot along the water, the Nive.

20/09/2026: The welcome wasn't very warm, barely a hello. The service was very slow despite the waiters' apologies. The meal was decent.
