The service is attentive. When booking, choose the main dining room rather than the annex (where dishes are brought in from outside).

21/02/2026: We had a wonderful evening on Friday the 13th. We thoroughly enjoyed both the à la carte and set menus, and the service was very friendly, with smiles, a good sense of humor, and they chatted with the customers. A very pleasant evening for us.

07/03/2026: The food was truly disappointing compared to real Italian restaurants; it was more like fast food. We had to ask for more sauce with the pasta, and add cheese, pepper, and hot oil just to get any flavor. The pizza was barely edible, and the desserts were the same—nothing special, nothing to excite us. The atmosphere was anything but Italian, more like a cocktail bar. But the worst part was the service. The waiters seemed clueless and either completely oblivious or unwilling to understand. We had to chase after them as they ran around like headless chickens, constantly giggling amongst themselves as if they were a group of friends having drinks and had smoked something. So, we wouldn't recommend it, although I imagine it depends on your standards. And the high chairs were quite uncomfortable for a meal.

25/02/2026: Excellent restaurant with friendly staff. I often eat there and have never been disappointed. The food and menu are simple but high quality, all for €17 (starter, main course, dessert). This is worth noting, especially given that more and more restaurants on the coast are chasing profits and are often just a haven for the trendy crowd. The bar is also pleasant and lively, particularly on weekends with the pintxos. In short, a great place to eat in Bayonne!

This restaurant, where the quality of the dishes—soup, chorizo ​​risotto, shrimp risotto, homemade Bounty ice cream—exceeded all my expectations and left me with a wonderful memory of my stay in Saint Jean. The desserts were also very good. To those who complain about the limited menu: I see it as a sign of quality, and there's still plenty of choice. The atmosphere was very pleasant and the decor was lovely. The best restaurant I've been to in Pau. Thank you!
