02/06/2024: Living in Japan for 20 years, passionate about cooking, dreaming of opening a French family cuisine restaurant in Japan and originally from Tours, I visited Nobuki for the first time this winter and I was totally amazed. I am often generous with the rating, so I am disappointed not to be able to give it a 10/5. Everything is there. The service, the products, the work of the products, the wine and Japanese alcohol list, the authenticity, the kindness, everything. Even in Japan, you have to hang on to find a restaurant of this level. Yes, it's expensive. But good products, sourced correctly, are expensive. Yes, it's only open at lunchtime, except Fridays, because yes, restaurateurs also have the right to a certain quality of life, and to maintain such a level, we cannot hire staff regardless. how to do anything when the boss is not there. Because yes, a quality Japanese restaurant doesn't operate without its chef, that's how it is. Yes, there is little choice, but you can't source products of this quality and offer 15 dishes, it's impossible. The only negative point, which we discussed with the chef, is that he does not highlight the origin of his products. He does a crazy job sourcing his vegetables and fish, and when a chef does this work, I want to know! In short, doing that in France is not easy, so great respect.

The starter/main course/dessert formula is excellent value for money, the products were quality and cooked in an original and coherent manner. As for the service, everything was perfect too. Mention +++ for the cheese cart (especially the Camembert with Calvados 🤤) I recommend 👌🏻

07/05/2024: We had an excellent time in this 12th century inn, a few well-positioned tables, a well-thought-out decor, a cozy atmosphere but the most important thing is the food and we enjoyed ourselves from the beginning until the end of the meal. , zero faults and an extra star for the juices! The sommelier knows "her" wines and the winegrowers who make them, we are in the wine business and we appreciated her recommendations, thank you and congratulations to her, the kitchen team, the chef and his wife in the dining room. We highly recommend this establishment which has well deserved its first star.

28/04/2024: Magnificent restaurant which smells of wood fire, the fireplace at the back of the room is splendid. We are welcomed then placed on a round wooden table, without tablecloth, sober and classy. We choose the 7-course menu, Calder menu at €78 and a very surprising Orléans wine “L’excellence”. We enjoyed the colors, textures and tastes. I loved the saffron langoustines! Only fresh products, as much as possible from the region. And since we were celebrating our wedding anniversary, we had a little marshmallow candle in the middle of the meal! Total: €217 for 2 with Lots of appetizers to whet our appetite, smoked trout, white asparagus, langoustines, brill, sweetbreads for my husband and duck for me, revisited Sainte Maure cheese and chocolate sorbet crepe dessert, delicious and light despite everything. Coffee and madeleines, marshmallow and chocolate. Perfect service, neither too long nor too fast. It was a very very pleasant evening.

12/05/2024: Nous nous sommes rendus dans cette crêperie, le mercredi 8 mai et ce fût une très belle découverte. Nous avons pu gouter la lochoise , la St Maur ainsi que la Henri VII. Crêpes savoureuses et bien garnie. De plus, accueil chaleureux et service rapide, un peu proche du bar, nous avons pu entendre quelques plaintes du responsable, c'est dommage... Nous recommandons tout de même ce restaurant !

31/03/2024: Accueil très sympathique. Service agréable et de qualité. Restaurant propre et bien décoré. Cocktail sans alcool très sympa pour 4€ seulement. Cuisine excellente et originale (galette Burger pour nos filles). Nous avons pris la galette crepicoise et la galette Terre et mer... nous avons adoré. Cidre doux, sucré et très bon. La note est très "douce" : 92€ pour 4 avec 4 apéritifs, 1 pichet de cidre, 4 galettes, 2 crêpes sucrées et 1 café... pour un samedi soir. A recommander sans hésitation. Très très belle expérience.

18/03/2024: The place is very charming, cozy and the welcome is warm. The flavors are varied, perfectly spiced and the portions are very generous. We enjoyed the whole experience and would definitely recommend grabbing a table at Makeda!
